Hope House 2 Reviews and Ratings
Reviews of Hope House 2 in Scottsdale from patients, loved ones and referring professionals are collected in this section, together with reviews gathered from around the web.
Other than a nice house everything else is lacking. The staff are unprofessional and dismissive. The program itself is not helpful. Therapy was limited.
I would recommend the Hope House and all of their services to anyone who wants to change their life. I have personally been here and have also had a loved one attend. The staff is courteous and caring, and the… facilities are top-notch. Unlike a lot of other places you will find in this industry, the Hope House really cares about people and helping them live their best life.
I got stuck between th couch cushions downstairs. It took staff 17 hours to find me. My therapist made fun of me for it. Hurt

How do we buy a tee shirt I want one ..?
The Hope House gave me more than sobriety—they gave me clarity. The executive program was a game changer, letting me work remotely while focusing on recovery. I could stay connected to my business without losing… progress in healing. They’ve truly mastered that balance.
The Hope House truly sets the standard for care and comfort. Having been through other treatment centers, I can say their holistic approach, supportive staff, and beautiful Scottsdale setting created the ideal place for… healing and growth. I’m deeply grateful for the second chance at life they helped me find.
I had an incredible experience at The Hope House. The facility offered a supportive atmosphere of healing, where I gained essential tools for recovery from substance abuse and mental health challenges. The leadership… team, therapists, medical team, case managers, and behavioral health technicians were all outstanding. Having a private chef prepare delicious and comforting meals allowed me more time to focus on my personal growth. The holistic approach—including yoga, sound baths, and chiropractic care—was truly transformative. Now, as both an alumnus and the Executive Chef of The Hope House, I’ve come full circle. I’m blessed to give back by providing nourishing meals that bring a taste of home to those on their recovery journey. Thank you, Hope House team, for showing me the beautiful, clean, and sober life of 6 years (and counting) that I live today.
It wasn’t only me who needed healing—my family did too. The family therapy at The Hope House helped us rebuild trust and open up communication with my parents and sister. After years of barely talking, we’re now having… dinners together again. That alone made the experience worth it.
I can’t review the hope house yet, but Ian, the gentleman who helped get my wife admitted as a godsend. So helpful, kind and patient. My wife was extremely nervous and hesitant. He spent a very long time talking with… her and alleviating her fears. He is wonderful at his job.
The days had a rhythm. Group in the morning, personal therapy after lunch, then time to reflect.
Felt like I could breathe again. No packed bunk rooms, no chaos. Just solid support and space to focus.
From the moment I arrived at The Hope House, I felt a sense of hope and belonging. The luxurious setting, complete with a resort-style pool and spacious rooms, provided a peaceful retreat from the chaos of addiction.… The staff's unwavering support and the evidence-based therapies offered helped me reclaim my life and embrace a future free from substance dependence.
The Hope House's commitment to individualized care is evident in every aspect of their program. The small client-to-staff ratio allowed for personalized attention, and the variety of treatment modalities ensured that my… unique needs were met. The experience was transformative, and I am now living a fulfilling, sober life thanks to their dedicated team.
Choosing The Hope House for my recovery journey was the best decision I have ever made. The compassionate staff, personalized treatment plans, and comfortable accommodations created an environment conducive to healing.… Today, I celebrate sobriety and a renewed sense of purpose, all thanks to the unwavering support I received during my time there.
The Hope House saved my life. I am very freatful to the staff and all of the support.
The Hope House Gave Me Hope (and a Lot More) I spent a month at The Hope House in Scottsdale, and honestly—it changed my life. From the first phone call, Cameron in admissions was like a rehab concierge. He patiently… answered my 1,000 questions over six months without ever once blocking my number (thanks, man). The program dives deep—not just into what we’re doing, but why. It’s trauma-informed, focused on grace over guilt, and somehow made group therapy feel like a TED Talk. Alan Boss, my therapist, was brilliant and compassionate, and Scott made CBT make sense in a way that stuck (and didn’t make my brain melt). Shout-out to the nurses, especially Alita, who was equal parts kind and badass. The techs—like Jassica—were the kind of people who somehow always knew when you needed a joke or a hug. The peer group (10 of us total) was unexpectedly one of the best parts. We laughed, cried, and healed together. It felt like trauma summer camp… minus the s’mores, but with way more emotional breakthroughs. Small note: they advertise a private chef, but during my stay, that chef was apparently on an extended vacation or hiding in Narnia. They say they’re working on it—and in fairness, I didn’t starve. If you’re thinking about getting help, do it. The Hope House is the real deal. Come for the healing, stay for the breakthroughs… and maybe someday, the chef.
Great Staff, Great home, and great client care
I was skeptical about going to a luxury rehab. But The Hope House completely changed my view. It wasn’t just about comfort (although yes, the mansion-style home, private chef, and resort pool didn’t hurt). What really… stood out was how personalized everything was. The team took time to understand my story and helped me work through years of addiction and trauma. I didn’t feel like a number. I felt heard.
They really don’t mess around when it comes to individualized treatment. I came in expecting a cookie-cutter 30-day program, but the team assessed me on day one and built something totally unique. My treatment involved… CBT, art therapy, even EMDR, and the staff explained everything clearly. I never felt like I was just going through the motions.
The setting itself is beautiful, the food is excellent, and it truly offers a break from the stress of daily life. In that sense, it serves well as a temporary escape. But for those seeking deep healing and sustainable… recovery, this may not be the ideal environment. The therapeutic approach is unique—less traditionally empathetic, more “tell-it-like-it-is.” While this can feel refreshing at first, especially compared to the typical “how are you feeling?” model, it may not always come from a grounded or balanced place. In my experience, one therapist in particular—while perhaps well-meaning—carried a pessimistic tone, unresolved resentment toward a previous employer, and struggled to create safe space in the presence of women. For some, this style may feel honest; for others, it can come across as emotionally unsafe. It’s important to note that the staff overall seem emotionally and professionally burnt out. While they continue to show up and try, the energy they bring can feel flat or disengaged. This could be misinterpreted by more vulnerable clients, potentially triggering emotional distress or crisis intervention, such as an involuntary psychiatric hold. Despite these concerns, this facility is not entirely a cash grab. They offer scholarships and appear willing to work with clients financially when possible—a rare quality in the treatment world. That said, the therapeutic experience still feels limited in depth and consistency. And while the house is stunning, the beds leave a lot to be desired—noisy, uncomfortable, and not exactly restorative. In summary, this place may be a good fit if you're looking for a structured break from life in a comfortable setting. But if you're pursuing serious recovery and emotional transformation, you may want to look elsewhere for more consistent, ethical, and emotionally safe care. Wishing anyone reading this strength on your recovery journey—whatever path you choose, make sure it supports the person you are becoming.
The Hope House has had a profound impact on my life. They helped me achieve life saving sobriety, but more importantly, their programs and staff transformed me in ways I never thought possible. I am a better person,… friend, husband, father, and son. I love life and I look forward to each new day. Going to H.H. was the best decision I ever made.
I appreciated how low-pressure the environment was. No bootcamp energy, no lectures, just real people who care. You wake up to mountain views, eat actual good food, and get into therapy sessions that challenge you (in… the best way). Even on my worst days, I felt supported here. That’s rare.
My Aunt went through this facility and she is still doing amazing. The staff went above and beyond in every aspect, particularly Maya and Jada.
