Great place for young kids ,young adults, and adults that need therapy.

Jill, the receptionist, is absolutely wonderful, & my therapist, Jana, is FANTASTIC!!! I couldn’t be happier with my care. They’re truly a wonderful practice & they really care about you & your care. Highly recommend!!

It Takes a Family has been an incredible source of support for me and my family. Jana is an amazing therapist, compassionate, patient, and genuinely invested in helping you grow and heal. She creates a safe,… judgment-free space where you truly feel heard and understood. Jill at the front desk is always kind, welcoming, and helpful, which makes every visit feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Anna in admin is organized, responsive, and always willing to help with anything you need alongside Jill. I also want to thank Toyin, the APN, for being thoughtful, professional, and supportive throughout the process. The entire team works together seamlessly, and it truly shows their dedicated and really best at what they do. This practice genuinely lives up to its name healing here really does take a family. I highly recommend It Takes a Family to anyone looking for compassionate, high-quality mental health care and the caring support makes all the difference.

We have had a wonderful experience with this place! They have helped my childs self esteem grow , and adjust to middle school life in healthy ways! The secretary Jill is so friendly and helpful, always polite and… delightful ! I definitely recommend them for services!

This office is very professional! Jill at the front desk is very kind and accommodating. Every therapist we have seen there has gone above and beyond to make my child feel comfortable and welcome. His current therapist,… Urick, is so so good with kids and has helped my son come out of his shell so much since the beginning of his time in therapy with him. A very kind man and amazing therapist! I always recommend this place!

Overall the best facility I have been working with so far as I’m a newer client ,great mental health professionals ,great councelers ,great receptionists very helpful and dedicated to ur needs

Jill at the front desk is awesome, she always takes the time to schedule my appointments when it's best for me. The Doctors are great and take the time to really listen to your needs. I recommend them all the time to… family and friends.

I am deeply disappointed with the service provided by It Takes a Family. Despite numerous promises to return my calls and address my concerns, I have been consistently let down. Despite multiple attempts to reach out to… the human resource department and corporate office, I have received no response. It is frustrating that my messages have not been relayed due to apparent negligence. Furthermore, the lack of follow-through on scheduling appointments is unacceptable. I have been repeatedly assured that I would receive a callback to arrange an appointment, yet each time, I am left waiting in vain. This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for customer communication is unacceptable. I urge others to consider my experience before engaging with It Takes a Family. The inability to fulfill basic responsibilities and honor commitments reflects poorly on the company’s reliability and integrity.

The entire staff have been such a pleasure to speak and deal with. My family and I have always been treated with courtesy and respect. Jill is always friendly and goes beyond her duties to help out to make sure the… patient is taken care of. Both of my sons are patients at ITAF. Both Ms. Victoria and Ms. Darline are terrific. My sons needs are always priority. Whenever they are made aware of an issue at the beginning of the session, they both automatically put that issue as the first concern. They are empathetic to the concern. I honestly could not ask for a better facility and therapists.

Staff is very kind and respectful. Amazing therapy services and very organized scheduling. Frequent appointment reminders as well.

It’s a very good place with a good team to have on your side in your mental health journey. Jill is great as your first point of contact. She is always helpful and very polite. The only downside is the turnover of… therapists.

I have been going here to the Lawrenceville location for years. I have not one complaint. I am treated with respect and compassion even if I mess up my appointments, there is NO pencil pushing here. They all care. From… the receptionist to the counselor to the Doctors. I appreciate you all and would highly recommend them and do to my friends and family

Went through the steps necessary to meet the nurse practitioner. I was told by the nurse that she does not prescribe controls of any kind at all. Anxiety is a medical condition. The medicine that isn’t controlled isn’t… effective. What a fabulous waste of my time. I have a condition that’s serious and being denied access to my medication proved stressful and complicated. Update: I was switched to a second doctor who gave me the exact same speech about not prescribing controls as a general rule. I’m so sad. P.S. I predominantly write good reviews

I have had nothing but great experiences with this agency. The staff truly cares about your health care needs and they go far and beyond to help. I have recommended ITAF to friends and family and will continue doing so.… It seems people only write reviews when they have something terrible to say. Let's start being more optimistic and looking at the good in people instead of eyeing all of their flaws. Respectfully, Angela

this place is an absolute joke, every single portion of it. i have many, many horror stories from this office, but primarily my issue is that they cannot for the life of them prescribe my medication in a timely manner.… i'm always off of it for a few days before i can speak to a psychiatrist who often calls late or will not call me at all. they're lucky my symptoms aren't anything severe. when i was younger one of my therapists told my mother something i told her not to tell her about, and would often show up late too. no one in this office cares, and the only therapists ive spoken to that do have left to work for better people. i would go somewhere different if i could. if you can, avoid this place at all costs.

Lady who answers the phone is very nasty. I called and was told the wait is 2-3 weeks. I called about an hour later to get my daughter on the wait list. She said "well, the wait is 3-4 weeks." She took my phone number… and hung up on me. Very rude, unprofessional and overall miserable.
