Alliance Medical Services – Johnstown Detox and Rehab Services

Alliance Medical Services – Johnstown is recorded as offering intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.

Combined treatment is not recorded, which is worth checking before committing. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

Alliance Medical Services – Johnstown Address, Location and Contact Information

The facility address is 1425 Scalp Avenue, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, 15904. Cambria County covers this area. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.

Phone ahead about parking, access and what the first appointment covers. Remote appointments may be possible where travel is a barrier. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

If you find yourself at the crossroads of not wanting to continue the cycle of addiction and you are looking for guidance and the piece of mind of not feeling ill in the process and you truly want to make a difference… this place is everything your looking for if you are at the end of the road and need that nudge this is it !!! the staff is polite friendly and honestly have the patients best interest in mind ... going into the program I heard all the negative things folks would say and it was none of it , the program works if you are set on making the changes to become free from the chains of addiction .... it is the core reason I'm responsible ,employed, and have a roof over my head the rules are simple and the help is tremendous I cant say enough about the difference in the quality of life if you want it pinnacle / alliance will help you obtain it !!!

It has gotten better over the years. At one point it was the worst clinic in Pennsylvania but they got rid of the crazy staff and now it's mostly good people working there

This place is a drug DEN. Between the blatant drug sales going on right in front of the doors to the even worse ones done inside or even just the meth smoking in the bathroom... How is this place still operating?!?… Because it's a business that despite operating on human suffering, it operates none the less. This place is and has been FIGHTING ME in regards to getting off this poison. Also, while doing so I've had nurses disparage me in front of my fiance to at one point having a counselor making multiple threats against me(this was for speaking up for my fiance and her treatment). Sadly, MY COUNSELOR here, had earned my TRUST, and broke it. Irregardless of HIPPA LEGAL GUIDELINES, and any other b.s., the human betrayal is what still kills me every day. I do not want to find new person to talk to to, because why try and trust any more? Thanks Coach O... Bryan

I Have been a patient at three previous clinics, the VA hosp in Pittsburgh, pyramid in altoona, and RHJ in Vandergrift, this is by far the place that has had the most heart. My experience with 3 counselors over 3 years… was wonderful. It has been a much more personal experience, a give and take that was different from past places. With 2 of them they had been previous addicts, but all have had wisdom and encouragement. At other places it was just be me telling my life story and them bieng very gaurded about any personal details which made it less likely for me to be totally honest and not make progress in the counseling sessions. . The nurses are very kindly people as well and, unlike other clincs will accommodate me as a 40 year old man they will find another man to supervise the urinalysis instead of making me pee with a beautiful young nurse standing next to me, which I feel is inappropriate. I can say everyone is very friendly since a surly old bird of a nurse left 2 yrs ago. Maybe I just have an exceptionally good attitude or drank too much of the syzurp, but I feel if you put forth any effort in your recovery, these people will more than meet you halfway. You can improve yourself, pursue your dreams and goals or dream life away, at the Jtwn methadone clinic, you decide. everydays a blast! So come join the party today!

I transferred here when I moved to the area, and this clinic is great. It's well run, it's clean & well maintained, the staff is professional, and my husband and I love our counselors. I was originally scared of… changing clinics after 8 years, but I'm really glad I did.

This was a positive rating but I had to change it because once again they are making up their own rules as they go along. I have never seen a place that will quite often tell you one thing and then change it and act… like you are misinformed. If you are looking for clinic in or around Johnstown look elsewhere. I guess because Pinnacle owns it I see why your treated like a number.

Not good confidentiality has gone out the window. Gossip and your personal life are more important to these people than your sobriety. They don't care about your job your kids your sobriety just gossip

DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS ! UNETHICAL AND DISCRIMINATORY STAFF AND MANAGEMENT! I've changed my rating to one star due to the unfortunate way the clinic has changed in the past year. The regional director, Pam,… endorses and encourages Alliance staff to participate in discriminatory policies and unethical business practices such as giving preferential treatment to younger, tech-savvy patients, ignoring & belittling older patients, and refusing to resolve grievances. Also, on a daily basis, I've witnessed patients with physical disabilities be unable to park in handicapped spaces because other people have illegally parked there, and Alliance staff refuses to correct the problem. The front-desk receptionists have no customer service skills whatsoever; they routinely their eyes and ignore patients at the reception window. In five years there, I've yet to see a smile or a hear a kind word from them. They act uninterested in the entire process. CONFIDENTIALITY IS NON-EXISTENT AT ALLIANCE. Patients walk around the building with their cell phones out in plain view taking photos and recording, and the staff does nothing -- even though there is a large sign near the reception window stating that cell phones are NOT permitted in the building. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS; YOU WILL REGRET IT. If you are in need of addiction treatment, please seek out another facility.

the Suboxone clinic has been great, the employees are extremely helpful. My only complaint as sometime you will need to be patient and wait a bit to see the doctor.

I live very close to it only 15 miles away after being there for a couple years I chose to drive an hour and a half away to go to a clinic where the people care about you I speak the truth I might try to get back there… cuz it's a long drive once a week that I take I would like to know if they change it has been five years since I've been there
