ETHOS Treatment – Plymouth Meeting Detox and Rehab Services

Recorded services at ETHOS Treatment – Plymouth Meeting are intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.

Only one side is on record here, so ask directly if both are needed. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

ETHOS Treatment – Plymouth Meeting Address, Location and Contact Information

Records give the address as 3031-A Walton Road, Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, 19462. This address falls in Montgomery County. The site also serves the surrounding area, and anyone traveling in should confirm the route before setting out. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.

Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

Ethos has been a crucial part of my recovery and I would highly recommend this program to anyone struggling with alcoholism & addiction. Tom and his clinical team care about their patients and are invested into helping… people succeed with long term sustainable recovery.

I love my treatment at ethos. I did IOP in west chester and it was so comforting to have a safe space with a therapist who was so understanding. My therapist in plymouth meeting for the last year has been so amazing, at… first I struggled getting used to a new therapist but once I decided to open up and give her a chance our rapport has been so nice, she meets me where I am at but still pushes me to grow. Carlie and Jackie are awesome!

My daughter was being discharged from an RTF and suggested Ethos and stated they were in network with both of her insurances for IOP. Turns out they are not, but I don’t blame Ethos for that. What I blame them for is… when I asked about financial assistance or scholarships because the cost was a lot and not affordable, the response I received was “ Hey Amanda, Thanks for letting us know and we understand completely. I am sorry affordable care has been such a struggle for you. Please let us know if we can assist in any other way. Best, Rachel” We did not use their services, especially after essentially being called too poor to take care of my children by Rachel in a “therapeutic tone.” But others should be made aware of their disregard to mental health and the effects it’s has on the family system as a whole. Ethos should be kinder. Times are tough, if anyone knows that better it should be a therapist.

I went to this place for just your basic therapy trying to get help; I was told they work on a sliding scale price-wise and that was extremely helpful for me since I hadn’t been able to afford therapy. I first had… Lauren Davis, who spent a couple of months with me and then stopped responding. After a week of no response, she told me she had been on vacation, but she was going to be switching to a different specialty. She offered one last session for free and when I texted her to schedule it she left me hanging for 5 days. When I texted her one last time she was extremely unprofessional and aggressive. I was then put into contact with Liz Ferris who started off being extremely nice and helpful just like Lauren. She was consistently a little late to our sessions and would end before an hour was up, but I never brought up any issues about that because she was working on a sliding scale and I felt bad. But that was not right on her part as my therapist. I got the times mixed up ONE time and texted her 20 min late, she never responded to that text, the 2 follow up texts to that, or the many phone calls I made to her office in the weeks following. I was abandoned by both of my therapists from this establishment and it has made my problems WORSE. This place is a disgrace to mental health care and they should get some therapists that actually want to help the clients they take on.
