High Focus Centers – Havertown Detox and Rehab Services
The register shows High Focus Centers – Havertown providing partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.
The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

High Focus Centers – Havertown Reviews and Ratings
Choosing a treatment program is easier with accounts from patients who have already been through the door. Reviews of High Focus Centers in Havertown are gathered here for that reason.
Look for detail on how the first week went, how staff communicated and what support followed treatment.
I did not enjoy my time here . I did not get nothing out of my treatment. It was like a daycare wit my peers acting lik toddlers all day yelling screaming acting silly. Staff could never control the kids and we always… were told we didnt have food
Be aware… just to go meet with them to see if you want to choose there is EXPENSIVE. They are In-Network for me and by insurance company was charged over $500 and I was responsible for $131. Pretty crappy way to do… business when dealing with people at their most vulnerabe and their mental heath is not strong. Actual my responsibility was over $150 but had to pay my $20 copay at the place that I forgot about. I was reminded that from the email after I reluctantly paid the invoice
Excellent mental health care for the entire family. Jim leads with care and a firm hand. Renee is warm and makes you feel at ease. Couldn’t recommend a better place.
Starting I would love to give a great 5 star review. Jim , Nina and Ernest are great, patient and listens to both the parents and children concerns without trying to deflect and advised of other php programs as other… have to me. I chose HF php due to my child having a lot of trust with Jim and Ernest from the IOP. She attended last year. I love these 3 people right here. My child is currently enrolled and is doing really well it took her a while to open up and these 3 never gave up or make recommendations on sending her else where. She had learned many new and effective tools to use .. so there's that. I only gave a 4 star review due to speaking with a certain person while my child is treated there about med changes and I haven't heard from back them since. We spoke 2x and her MD attempted to also outreached and crickets... a side from No MED changes done. My child still benefited from the other therapies offered just not 1 of them I've requested which was the med change. My child journey with HF , has been very beneficial, my child has grown and can effectively use the tools provided. This program is highly recommended and im glad I didn't let a few bad apple ruin this experience for my child
After dealing with a lot of mental health professionals for my son, this was the first program that really helped. Jim is the most intuitive person I’ve ever met, instantly reading the situation correctly, he could… easily be a cold reading magician.
Every meeting was a positive experience. Andrew was great! He listened and always gave good advice.
Our family continues to benefit from the care and skill of the therapists at High Focus. I would without hesitation recommend the Havertown Center to any family looking for support.
My daughter did the IOP program, we were there for about 5 weeks and requested to be discharged. She did not find the group helpful, there was no improvement over her 5 weeks there, she continued to spiral and hurt… herself. Every week there were new kids introduced to the group, so they lived in the introductory/ discovery phase as they called it. As an adult I found family day triggering with no resolution on how to deal with the information we talked about/shared. So to make sure she gets the help she needs this would not be the place for her. I would never return there again I want my child to get better. We saw Fitz for med management which was a joke as my daughter would call it. He would tell her she is on a pediatric dose and talk about his life/family. I want to believe the program overall means well and wants to help and it’s just the individuals that were meant to help my daughter were not a match but we will never know.
Highly highly recommend Andrew Jara's IOP group for anyone struggling with mental health issues or substance abuse. The program had a profound impact on me and I am extremely grateful for all the help High Focus… provided.
I feel I got what I needed from the group.
I wasnt there for very long but I found Renee and Jim to both be very helpful towards me recovery, all of the groups are interesting and very relaxing/beneficial
This place (PHP in particular) was transformational for our family. The staff welcomed my kid with open arms and helped him to open up about what was going on and causing his behaviors. Their focus on the whole family… unit (instead of just the “troubled kid”) sets it apart as a therapeutic environment where healing can happen and new patterns can be established. I would highly recommend.
I was really skeptical about the whole idea of IOP. However after going for 5-6 weeks, it's the best thing I've done for myself in a long time. Andrew cultivates a really comforting, yet focused group and it really… helped me get through a tough time in my life. I've learned so much about myself, how to deal with stress, and how to communicate better and I'm really thankful for my time at this office.
It was a great time being at that program. I had some really good experiences with the staff and would definitely recommend this program to anyone who needs it. It’s really a great program and it is very unique in the… way they do the therapy.
My son was in the PCP program. I am so happy we chose the Havertown one. Jim and Kay were so down to earth and very understanding working with my son. They have alot of knowledge in every aspect of therapy. Jim is a… very great person and connected with all the kids in the program as well as the parents. I highly recommend the Havertown building. The kids can be themselves and really open up. They also include parents, giving them the tools to help their children in time of emotional support. Thank you very much I am grateful for the help my son received there.
When it comes to a group program this is one of the best around. As long as you were willing to do the work with your teenage , this is definitely where you should be. They teach so much to both the teens and families… it makes for a much better environment at home. I would totally recommend the havertown branch. Jim is the best.
This program was not helpful for my family, in no small part because they did not engage the family and seem to spend a lot of time affirming their teenage clients’ without getting context and perspective from the… adults in their lives. There was a lot of enabling and very little accountability. As one of many examples- a kid shared that they had returned some (but not all) items they had stolen and was congratulated by both their peers and counselors. If that’s the environment you’re looking for this may be the right program. my family’s experience was that antisocial behavior got significantly, unbearably worse over the course of 10 weeks of intensive therapy. If you do go here know that they are there for your child, not you and when they say they maintain confidentiality they mean for your child, not so much for adults.
Twice in one year I went here and the place has changed a LOT... As someone stated in the past Phillip was an amazing therapist and really helped me with my mental health struggles and addressed my anxious thought… patterns. I met very kind people and could relate and we all hit it off. As of this past October I was greeted by new clinicians, both doing great work and sincere about their work. I loved the group and I felt pretty good about it when I was discharged due to my finances and my new job. However- the paperwork was a not even updated accurately (I changed medications a lot and none were shown) among other really concerning things upon reading it. I really appreciate the foundation this facility gave me. The structure was as helpfu as, welll.. any program can when dealing with mental health.. but I am only giving this 2 stars because of Phillip (who no longer works here)
During a difficult time in my life struggling with grief, anxiety, depression and panic I reached out for help at The Light Program. I have never experienced group therapy before and was very hesitant and nervous but… was willing to try. I am so glad I did ! I can’t say enough positive things about my experience. The group members were helpful and supportive and the clinician Phil was extremely supportive while giving great feedback and encouragement. I am beyond thankful and grateful for The Light IOP program and the structure. I listened to the advice, suggestions and learned coping skills that I will continue carry with me always. Thank you for all the support!
Rehab After Work was the best thing that I could have chosen for a recovery from substance abuse and addiction. Andrew Jara was an excellent clinician and professional support team member. I would highly recommend this… program to anyone who is struggling with addiction.
Rehab after work in Havertown is a great place for IOP. The counselors are great. I attended several IOP in the past and never completed any of them, I just wasn't interested. Since attending this program I have made… all of my group sessions unless I had a doctor's appointment. I love going there, I love the sessions and the counselor Jim is the best. I would recommend this place to everyone that has some kind of addiction problem. I feel great when I leave the sessions. If you do have some kind of problem I would recommend REHAB AFTER WORK IN HAVERTOWN.😀😀😀😀😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
