I have been going here for far too long (7 years) and have followed every rule they have ever given me. I was on monthly doses and received a call on Thursday informing me I was reduced to dailies from my counselor.… Apparently a nurse called me and left me a voicemail the day prior for a medication call back. Well, I get 20+ spam calls a day and heavily rely on voicemails to filter through the noise. I replied immediately to my counselor's voicemail. I didn't reply to the nurse since there was NO voicemail left! And who will believe me over a nurse? Certainly not CMS. In the end, you will always be treated as an addict as long as you are on methadone. It doesn't matter if you follow their arbitrary rules, their callbacks, take negative tests and become a functioning member of society- you are an addict through and through and they will always treat you as such. Get off methadone while you still can and better yet, never take it in the first place. It has been 7 years and this is the first time I have ever had a problem with CMS but it will be the final problem I ever have with them.
I have a new life, it is refreshing. I never thought it would be as simple as walking into CMS. Thank you staff for a solid delivery on services that are helping change the world! 🌎
Wonderful place. Amazing staff.
If I could give a zero i would. I have 4 years clean and at the end of my treatment I lost insurance thru my job so I got blue cross blue shield. They do not recognize cms as therapeutic treatment... I see why now.… Instead if figuring out how to help me they kicked me to the curb. I took an fmla to get through the withdrawals then cms refused to fill them out. So I went to pcp they wont help either because my treatment is through cms..I just lost my job of 4 years grooming dogs because of CMS..... thats what I get for going to a corporation for medical help.... thanks cms for destroying all the hard work I did yo get here... if at all cost do not go here
CMS on Orange Grove has helped me change my life for the greater good
Community medical services where you can come to save your own life they distribute life-saving medications for people with substance abuse problems. Dr Chris and his staff are nothing short of amazing words can't… describe what Angels they really are on this Earth. This is what I like to call my In-N-Out clinic because it's unlike any other CMS in Southern Arizona you can be in and out of here in less than 30 minutes on your first day. And it's a smaller clinic and the hours are a lot different than most but it's worth it I believe it's 3:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. I'm not sure if I can or can't post my counselor individually however if she sees this she'll know who she is she is absolutely the best she's a godsend I know she was put in this field of work to counsel me.. 🙏 all of the stuff is great I love all of them. Definitely recommend this clinic.
love the staff so much especially my counselor shar 🤗 environment is awesome love this place
I've been going to CMS for almost 4 years now and haven't had a problem until I transferred to this location from Kingman, AZ. I came to Tucson with bimonthly privileges, which took me months to work up to. I have been… eligible to go to monthlies for several weeks now, and instead when I go in this morning to pick up my meds, I am notified that my privileges are being reduced because "No methadone was detected in my urine test" I am a fast metabolizer, and this same exact thing happened in Kingman numerous times, except the nurses there were plenty familiar with it and let me know it's most likely my metabolism. But even after explaining this and contacting my old clinic in Kingman, they still dropped my privileges and talked to me like I was lying to them. I take my medication every morning around the exact same time, I make all my appointments, and I am clean from all other drugs. And yet, this clinic is punishing me for my body metabolizing the drug quickly. CMS as a whole is fantastic, but be wary of this particular clinic. Seems like their policy is to drop privileges for whatever they can.
I appreciate the friendly atmosphere and warm staff.
Carmay, Shar and the whole Cms team is great. Helped me so much, I'm so greatful for them all
I've been coming here for some time now and I like how friendly the environment is and also the ladies in front are always quick and professional and everybody's always doing their best to try to make you have a better… day. Thats what I like about it here.
This place is awesome . I came here from NJ and they lead me with open arms. I'd recommend this place especially if ur new to the Tucson area.. shout out to the staff. They rock.!!! And all I can say is they have helped… me alot and I believe they mean what they say❤️
I love this place if it wasn’t for places like community medical services, I probably wouldn’t be as Functional and productive. Shout out to all the employees at the north clinic for always being understanding when I… wasn’t God bless you all.
Such helpful people
I travel often for work so i guest dose at many differnt clinics across the US, and cms is by far the best clinic I have been too and am so glad to call it my home clinic. The counselors are attendant and truly care… about their patients, the nurses Natalie and Angela are super sweet and kind its always a pleasure getting dosed and the staff at the desk and peer support staff have to keep up with a lot tasks and responsibilities, but it never gets to them, they take time to know every client shows they actually care and have pride in what they do, its always cool joking around with them, also one thing to point out that makes CMS stand out from the rest is the doctor is always there and available to assist with patient dosing levels for increasing or decreasing to obtain the proper level of medication, and answer any questions or concerns about their treatment. I've been with CMS for many many years, I owe my life to the staff that makes CMS great. Since I started treatment, I've went from broke, no car and couch surfing, to finishing my degree, running a successful business, owning a new truck (paid off), buying land and started building a custom house in my down time.
I've been going to CMS just a little over a year and everyone is very helpful and truly do care.
I have been coming here for the last seven months and have had nothing but awesome experiences. The staff is amazing and our like family now! They genuinely care about their patients!! If you or a loved one Are seeking… treatment. This is the place to go.
They are amazing 🤩 Everyone gets treated as a top notch human💝💝 (not 🚫🚫 like , codac where a feral dog gets treated better!!!) Thank you 💓 C. M. S. Team y'all are AMAZING 🤩 😍 💜💜 With my hard work and cms's compassionate… support I've been sober for almost 9 months, thank you thank you thank you💜💜💜 Nurse Angela is an Angel from heaven
Great, quick to respond, the wait music is something that could be a bit more listenable. Their drugs are good, the staff is friendly, they’re very easy to talk to about how and your addiction is and exactly what drugs… you are using.
They really should change the hours for Saturday. I just seen 5 people go running to the door 2 after 9am and be turned away from getting the medication they need not only for Saturday but sunday as well . It's a shame… they are trying to take the steps to recovery then be turned down cause they are 2 minutes late . When lots of them are on the bus walking or depending on others for a ride .a small inconvenience like this could really lead to a relapse or worse for others .
I've been going to this location for years and I absolutely love it here. They never judge you. They are always here for you whenever you have a problem. I highly recommend CMS to anyone who needs it...
Saved my life. I never thought I'd make it nearly 6 years. If you're ready to get help they will be there for you.
This place is amazing. It has helped multiple people whom I love deeply get the help they need and want in order to better there future
Great location, GREAT staff 👍👍 Alex is amazing she is really great & kind when you meet her in person at the front desk or when u call, by FAR the best methadone clinic I’ve used. I Definitely recommend to all seeking… to be patients
I have been a CMS client for about 2 years now, and I am very happy with the services I have received. I think the entire staff is great. Alex, as well as the other people at the front desk are courteous, respectful,… helpful, and VERY patient. The doctors are knowledgeable, professional, and kind. My counselor Mara is awesome. She seems to genuinely care about the people she works with, and in a non-judgmental, compassionate (but still professional) way. Whatever they pay her, they should double it! (Actually, they all deserve a raise--or at least a bonus!) The nurses are always friendly and professional -- ( I haven't met a rude or discourteous nurse yet at CMS). Even the security people are nice! I'm sure my readiness to accept help has had a little to do with having a positive experience overall, but it makes a HUGE difference to have good people helping you out along the way. It takes an incredible amount of patience and compassion to work with addicts every day. We can be a pain in the rear, to put it mildly. Hopefully the staff is aware of the tremendous difference they are making in people's lives on a daily basis.
I love the ladies up front, the guards outside, the nurses, counselors & peers that work there & I LOVE Dr. B, she's the BEST!! My overall experience at CMS is completely different than what I experienced at Codac, Cope… & LA Frontera. The ONLY unpositive thing that I can say about CMS is the fact that if you're on Suboxone (like me) then you have to wait while Methadone people are in & out but that's bc there's only 1 Nurse that does the Suboxone. It would be better if all the Nurses could do both but unfortunately they can't so ALWAYS come early just in case. I also just wanted to point out that Monique is my case manager & she's the BEST, thanks Mo!! I've worked out some deep emotional stuff with her that I never could've before her. Thanks CMS as a whole, I've got 10mos clean & am in the current IHRSS class through the UofA Workforce Development Program & my life has a purpose that I never knew about until now. My family is mostly restored & my heart & soul are fully restored. I love my life... #Recoveryis100%Possible
