Social Recovery Center – Springfield Detox and Rehab Services

Social Recovery Center – Springfield is recorded as offering intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

Combined treatment is not recorded, which is worth checking before committing. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

Social Recovery Center – Springfield Address, Location and Contact Information

You will find this provider at 841 Mountain Avenue, Springfield, New Jersey, 7081. The city lies within Union County. The practical question of getting to appointments week after week is worth thinking through at the outset.

I was a client here and I started after stepping down from PHP and I met with the psych for 5 minutes, the next week my counselor told me that the psych is recommending a higher level of care based on my 5 minute… evaluation with me. She said my psychiatric symptoms were too much when they were basic psychiatric symptoms and she didn’t even try to know me and help me. Now I have to go back to a higher level of care cause I have no meds left or anything. She is very unprofessional.

This program Is the best outpatient program in the state. Th counselors are very knowledgeable and very nice and they will work with any schedule to make a plan for you to help your recovery. Social recovery center, look it up online and come get the help you need for you or your family member, friend, etc. Speak to Maria she is in charge with Tatiana, they will both help you Lirim bytyqi

A caring and compassionate organization. Very professional and they individualize your care to meet your needs. They changed my life. They opened my eyes and enlightened me to something new and positive. I would… recommend them to everyone without a doubt. They can help with much more than advertised. They are a high level quality of care facility that is responsive and reasonable in price. Holly was a great help!

Social recovery center. Man.. my life before social recovery center was pure madness , no hope and lost. I was refered to social recovery center by the rehab I was in, I didn’t know what IOP was , I just knew I needed… something to guide me in the right direction. Once I walked in those doors , the smiles followed by a warm welcoming hit me. It was all so new to me. The information I’ve learned about myself from the counselors and what I have to deal with is life saving. Once I heard that information , I couldn’t unknow it. The other stories , struggles or whatever that I heard really stuck with me. The way I’ve identified and realized , damn they have it worse. It feels good to be around people that understand my struggle. The support I’ve recived from my counselors and peers were more support than I’ve ever recived from anyone. I’m still learning everyday and trying to be the best man I can be, Social Recovery Center helped me grow up and opened my eyes, I couldn’t be more grateful for everyone there. Thank you 🙏🏾❤️

I was referred to the Social Recovery Center by my detox center. I was recovering from prescribed opioid dependency and alcohol abuse. It was the best thing that could have happened to me. I have spent many years on and… off opioids because of chronic pain and many surgeries, I’d found myself lost in a world of unsustainable dependency and abuse. After detox, Social Recovery, through their extremely caring and knowledgeable counselors and well crafted program taught me about not only how to fully recover from my addictions but they made me more self aware. They guided me to wellness and self awareness by educating me on how substance abuse works and how to successfully combat it mentally and emotionally. Self awareness was a byproduct of their teaching methods in group and the invaluable individual sessions. (Shout out to Holly, my great counselor, who is wise beyond her years and without whom my road to wellness may not been smooth. I miss you) All of the counselors at SRC are caring, knowledgeable and bring something different to the table. All are focused on your wellness. I am a 67 year old professional. I only wish I knew about detox programs and places like the Social Recovery Center years ago. My life would have been changed for the better a lot sooner. I now realize that there are many people like me, some that are mandated to go there by law however, I know that if they embrace the therapy instead of thinking of it as punishment they will benefit greatly in more ways than one. I’ve met really good people at SRC and detox some of which I call my friends today. It’s always bitter sweet when one of them finally graduates and it certainly was when I did.i actually miss it. Intake is easy. All you need do is call and speak to Maria, who is just amazing, and she will warmly welcome you and take care of everything. I highly recommend the Social Recovery Center and encourage anyone who is having difficulty with substance abuse or dependency to not wait. Call them before you wish you had.

Well educated and caring staff. They were all extremely helpful and they go above and beyond for the care of their patients. This facility teaches coping mechanisms, as well as keeping it a calm pleasant environment. I… would like to personally thank my counselor. She works very hard. As well as the rest of the staff. They went above and beyond for me. More than I can ever thank them for. They saved my life. I truly do mean that. I was in the roughest shape I ever imagined to be. I'm also greatful for the coffee machine. For some recovering addicts especially those who are coming off stimulant use, coffee helps boost up your energy. It's something that reallly helped me get through the process of sitting still. Thank you all so much

Best iop I've ever been too. They treat you like a human being unlike most places who treat you like dollar signs. All staff is great from Maria to Katie, Akilah, Holly, even the psych Olga, and cant forget about T.… Their all soo down to earth even the ones I didn't name. They have never held resentments against me when I have to go to detox and came back. Always a warm welcome back EVERYTIME!! Unlike most places that hold grudges against you. If you need a good iop, COME HERE!!!! I've been to at least 15 different ones and this has been the absolute best, not even a comparison. More places should learn from social recovery on how to handle clients. I highly recommend 👌

This program is an amazing place to find healing sobriety and the tools to self love. Before I came here I was a all out addict. I didn't see sobriety in my future however after attending Social Recovery, I learned that… life had more to offer than delusions. Because of this place I'm living a full life filled with happiness and joy. I honestly have no idea where I'd be without Social Recovery . I'll forever be grateful to the people here; Maria, Gabby, Taleen, Katie, Akhila, Olga, Danielle and Alexis. Thank you All for helping me get my life back and helping me learn to love myself. Without you guys I'd probably be dead, so thank you. If anyone is looking to get back on track and get back to living and not just existing Social Recovery is the best place to do it I'm living proof that there's life after addiction.

Update on my final sessions: Maria on the admin staff has been exceptionally gracious to me throughout this entire process. I’m not even a client anymore and she still keeps in contact with me to make sure I’m doing… well. I had 1:1 sessions with Katey M. And her counseling and support was informative, and she truly gave me much needed guidance. Although I had a rocky beginning with SR, I’d like to take this time to thank Maria and Katey so very much for their kind care and support. Had an assessment after IDRC and I had a different type of case. The assessment was not aligned with someone who has been through a recovery process with addiction. Their assessment of me, which was done by an Intern, nonetheless, was based on them asking a list of questions and not relating nor taking into consideration someone’s current sobriety. As far as I’m concerned, they want more $$ so that is why I was told I needed further treatment. I was told my word and dictation along with my religion and my recovery through my church was not enough to have them verify my three years of sobriety. I also could have done without the use of the “F” word from the staff and the not wearing gloves when handling a urine specimen.

As a provider, I take pride in rendering professional and authentic services for healing. It is important to have that reciprocated and I am happy to have that with Social Recovery . There is open and honest… communication. There is a shared purpose for the participants in providing for a safe and honorable space for recovery and calmness. I typically get prompt responses and always am welcomed and feel appreciated when I show up to provide my mindfulness yoga services and interactions. I get invoices paid on a timely matter and when I have questions they get addressed promptly. Sincerely, Beatriz Monterroso Be Free Be You, llc
