Better Life Recovery and Wellness – Florham Park

My experience at Better Life was exactly what I needed coming from an inpatient program. It enabled me to be home with my family and still participate in a group setting surrounded by my peers. The counselors were… knowledgeable and easy to approach and speak with regarding any topic .

Better Life Recovery has truly saved my life. Since day one, I was treated with the highest level of care. The staff here truly care about the well being of their clients. I attribute all of my progress and success to… Better Life.

I would like to share about my recovery experiences from Better Life. First of all the staff including the night time therapist is spot on and very knowledgeable and supportive. Secondly the staff genuinely cares deeply… about the clients needs and priorities. I’m not going to specify their names because they all work together as a team with the clients best interests in mind. 5 stars and I’m happy about the assistance and tools they helped me with. This is my 1st time in recovery and the experience has been literally life change. We have group meetings that treat your addiction, we do yoga, go on outing and live in great accommodations. Oh an we also eat delicious… food.The transportation staff, to the therapist, the case manager, admissions, doctor, director and owners are all OUTSTANDING. When we have disagreements we talk it out and everyone doors are always open. It feels like we are an extended family. If your willing to do the hard work, have an open mind and challenge yourself, I couldn't think of a more complete treatment center than Better Life Recovery. I can truly say I'm a better, recovered man due to my Higher Power, Wife and Better Life Recovery Center

Better life helped me to actually better my life. When I came to New Jersey I was a broken man the staff and therapists actually cared for me and gave me the tools to guide me in the best direction for recovery. My experience was extremely helpful. I am still sober. Housing was great. The people actually cared and helped me to actually Better My Life. I have been to multiple treatment centers and programs. By far the best and… cleanest, nicest. The techs (Mr. Mani) he is very organized and deserves his flowers. Well rounded program and im continuing the iop part in Florida. Highly Recommend.

Before coming to Better Life Recovery I had no hope, I was helpless in believing that I would never find the right help for alcoholism but through their patience and their care I was able to take their suggestions and… the help I was offered and it got better day by day. I've been sober for a year and half, was offered a job at Better Life Recovery and because of them I have managed to stay sober. Day by day by life has changed for the good and I am grateful for all the help and patience and care they have given me.

I can't say anything negative about this place! The housing is top notch and the treatment is amazing. Staff are very courteous. It's like you are joining a family of people who understand you and understand how hard… addiction is. 5 Stars all the way. They saved my life.

I want to thank everyone at Better Life for helping me in my time there. I learned a lot, especially from Katasha, Alan, CJ, Caitlyn, Benny and Eric. Sophia and Keith made the intake process simple and were very… helpful. Better Life provided me some great tools that I will take forward with me in my recovery. Now it’s up to me to take what I learned and apply it day to day. I will appreciate and remember my time at Better Life fondly, especially all the people I met who spent so much time with me. The staff and other clients really felt like extended family after a short period of time. What a wonderful place I did not want to leave. I felt safe and secure with all the staff and counselors within Better Life. Better life taught me to get back on my feet. They gave me the tools to encourage myself that I can be the best person I can be without taking any disrespect I don’t deserve, either from myself or others. ( yes Caitlyn… I FINALLY broke up w him for good :) lol) They allow an environment to be open and welcoming but also there are rules for a reason. To prevent relapse or so on. So for a newcomer who has issues with the rules I promise you the system is set up best for you and your peers. They’re very smart and I will take their advice forever. Thank you so much you guys ❤️

The people legitimately cared about each and every client. I was taken care of and all my needs were met. Overall it was a great experience. I owe them thanks for my sobriety and recovery.

This is an amazing wellness and recovery program. Every single staff is certified and qualified to meet your needs. They are also very relatable as to most of them have had the same experiences. They are also very… compassionate and caring and can help you out in any kind of situation that you're in, you have to put in the time and the work because you don't get fixed by magic. They offer PHP and IOP, the house that I stayed in was beautiful. It was like a mansion, i would recommend them to anyone that is in crisis. They helped me get back on my feet, and onto a better life in wellness and recovery.

So I was at Better Life last year, was in a totally selfish headspace, still trying to control my recovery and wanted IOP, honestly before I was ready, so I ended up leaving and going somewhere that I could get IOP and… yes I learned my lesson. So I had a couple relapses since than but checked into and am about to complete residential @ Mt Sinai Wellness in Dehalonga GA..So I kind of wanted to go back to a better life to kind of prove to myself and then that I am serious about my recovery and was willing to take recommendations and be better. Admissions tell me this morning that they are all about second chances and than they call back and say, " sorry we can't take you back"! I never disrespected anyone there and didn't do anything but decide to go somewhere else..They are biased and honestly I am a addict I make mistakes and this place is, now am realizing very prejudice..I am filing a complaint with with SA and MH..This is not right and I don't recommend this place anymore

I had a great experience at better life recovery. I was in PHP and stayed for outpatient once I completed.Every staff member at this place is a big part of my recovery and they treat you like family.
