WVADS Has been an excellent experience for my recovery. The councilors go over and above to get whatever it is you may need to support your recovery. The group meetings are very therapeutic and gives the opportunity to… work out whatever issues you are going through, with other clients that have/are dealing with similar issues. If you are struggling, call WVADS. It works!!

Great Counseling Services

i thought this place was excellent. i loved the groups and my counselor. it seemed like they really cared. i had shown up 25 minutes late for the 3 hour group and they wouldn’t let me in. i live 45 minutes away and had… counseling 2.5 hours later. woman at the desk said it wasn’t her problem. i was having a really rough day and needed to be there. mind you, i chose to go there. i wasn’t mandated or anything. they do an outstanding job pushing people away on their lowest days.

do not go to address listed here. It's wrong. No one answers there phone so if you don't know where there location is your going to have to get it from someone else.

It definitely helped, my group had to many people . That's my only complaint.

I met some really cool people there and my current girlfriend. When i first saw her i know it sounds cliche' but she struck me as so beautiful and had my heart from day one and i am very shy but i worked up the courage… and went and talked to her i got to know her I went and went and went. when we finally talked we found out we had ao much in common it was amazing. Now shes like the love and light in my life. Gives me a reason to get up face the day and even look forward to life everyday...if you know what i mean. I am so happy that i decided to go here it's weird how things work out sometimes. They say not to start new relationships when you're first in recovery. Mabe for some but she has become my motivation and we support each other especially when I'm feeling weak, she talks sense into me and calms me down. Remember do your program. Don't compare youself to others. Work your own program and whatever works for you do it. This is not a marathon. Its like working out. When youre just starting you can't just expect to go out on a track and run as fast and as far as someone who's been doing this everyday for years. No. Focus on yourself and make small goals for yourself. Well..ive ranted too long. I have the VERY BEST Drug and Alcohol Counselor his name is Jared! I WOULD BE LOST WITHOUT HIM, IM ADDITION THE STAFF THERE ARE ALL VERY GENUINE CARING AND LOVING I AM TRULY GRATEFUL FOR THIS PLACE!
