I had my [insurance required] initial behavioral health intake/assessment appointment. That went well and the woman then scheduled me for 2 appointments: one with a psych nurse and one with an appointment with a Case… Manager, of which the case manager was a no show to our appointment (claiming to not have me scheduled). Luckily the appt w/the nurse, Beth Newhouse, went well and was a good experience. I have only done telehealth so I dont have anything to contribute regarding the physical location.

I have been seeking psychiatric care, and counseling since the age of 10 years old, I’ve been misdiagnosed by over 3-4 doctors & within 3 visits my psychiatrist has completely flipped my mindset, my attitude.… Undiagnosed issues I was treated for that made me worse for years for My depression, anxiety & panic disorder + ADHD & im actually at a point where I can better my life. Absolutely blessed to have met Alyssa Weller. There is no one like her who genuinely listens & cares as much as she does. I never thought anyone would understand me and be able to truly help & I’ve finally received the help I needed. Being misdiagnosed with bipolar previously almost ruined my entire life.

I had my appointment today with Dr Christina Billiedalley for an evaluation so she can take over my mental health medication. My Primary doc left and the one I see now doesn’t want to prescribe my Zoloft.. I made an… appointment to have that done by Dr. Billedalley. I got on the call and explained why my medication isn’t working. She seemed distracted because she kept asking what medication was causing the issue, even though we were only talking about the one. The pill form makes me vomit blood, the liquid is hard for me to take consistently because it’s so disgusting that I vomit most nights that I take it, even with a high dose of anti-nausea medication. I was asking about compound pharmacies and other options available for me. Doctor Billiedalley was telling me that I basically just need to take more nausea medication and stick to the liquid even though I told her it’s not working. There was no empathy, couldn’t even be bothered to pretend to care, I confided in Her “ my doctor” that I’ve been having a tough time finding a good doctor there at MHC. She gave me a ton of attitude, telling me that I was putting words in her mouth. She then accused me of taking out my frustration with my previous doctor on her. Within 10 minutes of talking to this person, she was combative and I definitely did not feel comfortable talking to this person about anything. I waited months for this appointment and will have to wait months for another, I’m sure. Every time I get a doctor that seems to know what they’re doing. They leave and pass me onto another doctor that doesn’t agree with the one before. I’m so extremely disappointed and frustrated that I keep asking for help at a mental health facility and most can’t bother to pretend to care for the hour they are on the phone with you. I have been going here for 16 years and it has completely went downhill. I am looking for a new insurance carrier because I don’t trust my quality of life with them, especially Dr Christina Billiedalley!

I am so grateful for the wonderful care I have received at Marana Behavioral Health. From the very beginning, I have felt supported, heard, and genuinely cared for. My case manager, Madelyn Liebman, has been incredibly… kind and caring. She made sure I was scheduled with both a therapist and a psychiatric provider and has been so helpful throughout the process. My therapist, Isabella Chamseddine, BHP, LPC, is professional, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. She has introduced me to different therapeutic modalities, and I have already been able to work through some issues with her guidance. I truly appreciate her approach and the safe, comfortable environment she creates. My psychiatric provider, Jennifer Meyerson, PMHNP, is amazing. She took the time to really understand what was working for me and helped me determine which medications were beneficial while reducing the overall number of medications I was taking. I feel like we have developed a wonderful relationship, and I genuinely look forward to my appointments and our conversations. I feel very fortunate to have such a caring and knowledgeable team supporting me. Everyone I have worked with at Marana Behavioral Health has treated me with kindness, respect, and compassion. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for thoughtful, personalized behavioral health care.
