Metro Center Photos and Images

What people notice first about Metro Center is the setting: North Metro Parkway in Phoenix. Outpatient buildings show a reception area, consulting rooms and group therapy space rather than accommodation.

The surrounding landscape is the wide Sonoran Desert basin, where flat streets open onto views of the surrounding mountain ranges. The immediate area, North Mountain, is the north Phoenix area around the North Mountain preserve. The visual character of a facility is part of what people weigh up, particularly when several providers offer the same level of care.

Metro Center Detox and Rehab Services

this place is the worst, i have had a lot of bad casemanger but jennifer has to be the worst and when you call your on hold for 20 minutes then it goes to the answering machine, the only time they do anything is if you… say your suicidal but they won't do anything to help so you don't get to that point. I would never recommend this agency to anyone who needs help.

Been here since I was about 20, now Im 28 with team genesis. This clinic used to be called just Partners In Recovery and they're far from that. I have sent multiple requests to have paperwork filed to have my case… closed here as its only stress and i have gotten radio silence after requesting for emails or texts to leave a paper trial as I have screenshots of my case manger completely forgetting my actual questions and pulling new ones out of her butt. They insist on phone calls which if they do be ready to record it. however im refusing it as i want out and don't want words twisted. The teams dont listen nor wish to accommodate, team gensis is a mess as Rae makes nasty faces and comments about her own coworkers. made me uncomfortable and told a bit of their environment. Appts are made without consent and they get mad at patients despite they've never confirmed. case mangers revolving in and out and around like a merry go round they cannot keep their facts straight and have had my nurse tell me in my face he doesn't read any charts. i am looking to close my case here as it is only getting worse and worse they cant accommodate for telehealth which is noted they can do on their website. my physical health had gotten worse as they push weight gaining drugs and will string you along but wont ever fully adjust. regularly forces weird relationship of "support" between sickly members which leads to dangerous and rebounding entanglements. A recovered BPD and a recovering blues addict? yes lets make them buddies! has happened before. saw it and been through it, very irresponsible unless you're looking for a rebound buddy then this is your place. oh case mangers will say they're not paid enough like Rae told me of Team Genesis with the Nurse Practitioner who doesnt listen Joseph. And case mangers like Rae LOVE LOVE LOVE talking about her boyfriend to you as a middle aged woman as if she's a teenager.

I felt the need to update this review. COPA is horrible. I have been involved with them for far too long now. We continue to utilize COPA only for a single psychologist. He has made the experience worth while. They have… found a new director (twice) and almost entirely new staff (again). The problems remain. Alpha team is particularly terrible. We have no idea who our case manager is, they still consistently violate HIPA laws, they medicate patients without discussing the possible risks so the clients don't get to make an informed decision. I saw a case manager in the lobby rolling her eyes and being very rude to a client with a language barrier. Apparently, interpreters aren't avaiable? They don't sign clients up for services when asked or even offer them. Getting any advocacy here is like pulling teeth. The staff is entirely rude, dismissive, or checked out. The facility is NEVER properly cleaned and they do blood work here 😬. I could honestly keep going, but I feel this is enough for an informed decision.

This place is a total joke and dangerous to anyone who is in REAL need of help and expecting on being helped with navigating through an active episode of bipolar! I have gone into this office 3x asking for help and… needing help and finally have my appt feeling some hope that I will be getting some relief at this appt and got none, nothing, zero....I was assessed and sent on my way going right into a full blown panic attack and hyperventilating leaving me to sit alone in a hot car with my dog for 2 - 1/2 hrs before I could calm myself down and still wasn't enough that I was able to drive out of their parking lot, not one person came out to check or see if I was ok or needed anything period there was no level of concern or care from 1 employee in that office except for the easement girl who I guess was the only one working in the whole entire building!! I needed help which I believed was going to get and got nothing but more confusion, upset, and still not knowing what to do, where to turn or go for help that I was in desperate need of. This place is equal to a Mickey mouse day camp and nothing more not for anyone who is seriously needing any real help with their illness or experiencing any kind of episode. Seems they only do assessments because that's all I've had with this place, assessments and never goes any further and again I'm scheduled for another assessment at the the end of the month, for what?? They have no other services other than assessing people and maybe their many food deliveries

Mental health is a serious situation and needs professionals who are able to provide and actually want to provide help that actually is supporting!! I have been assessed by this place and that's as far as it goes...they… seem to do lots of assessments and for whatever reason, don't know or aren't able to see the patient to the next step in the process!! I have yet to see actuall employees anywhere other than those who r always behind closed doors, coming to the lobby for their food delivery of pizza mostly, or walking to their vehicles...it's a receptionist who checking people in for assessments while others are just sitting in the lobby taking advantage of the cooling air. This place is not anywhere for anyone to go to if experiencing anything that is needing attention for addressing or getting any answers for help if the hell is needed immediately since all that's gonna happen is they will assess and send you on your way just as clueless as you were when you arrived and leaving with more confusion, frustration, upset, and I actually went into a severe panic attack hyperventilating in the parking lot which took me 2 plus hrs to calm down from and never seeing 1 employee or anyone from that so called team come out to ask if I was ok or try to help me in any way...very dangerous for anyone experiencing an active episode with their illness and being at a very wrong incapable place that provided absolute no kind of help or answers or guidance for a patient who was and still is very much needing help coping and navigating through a crisis situation that was very much shared during the assessment process and was given nothing for any resources or what to do next and stayed seated in disgust as I left in disbelief and just trying to get back to my truck fast as possible due to the severe panic attack I went into for 2-1/2 hours....I never want to go back there and more like I can't afford to go back there because next time I may not be lucky enough to get myself through what I had to today alone. Places like this are not helping anyone but themselves with a paycheck they are collecting just to collect, they sure didn't earn it for what they were suppose to do for it.

File a grievance that's the only way that you're going to hear back from anybody! This clinic has caused me way more stress, anxiety and problems then I ever had before starting w them. So sick of the excuses...."their… case load is so big" I'm sorry but if you can't take care of that many clients in a timely manner then you need to hire more people!!! To be ignored for over 1-3months at a time there's NO EXCUSE! YOU WORK WITH THE SEVERELY MENTALLY ILL!!! LET'S STOP MAKING US MORE MENTAL AND FEEL MORE NEGLECTED & ABANDONED BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH PROBLEMS ALREADY!

I want to give a heartfelt thank you to Copa Health Metro Parkway, especially the Omega Team. I have been in the mental health system since 1999, and honestly, Omega Team is the best team I have ever had. They have been… behind me 1000% since 2020, and I truly feel supported, protected, and encouraged by them. Daneen gives protective, motherly love and always makes me feel like someone is looking out for me. Cherrisse is the best sidekick and case manager anyone could ask for. Lina is the best nurse; everything feels painless and easy with her. Eddie, my head nurse, gives me my meds every night, and I appreciate how kind and nice he is. James is also wonderful, and Samantha with their classes , they have been such an important support. Dr. Worley is the best, and I also want to thank Tina and TC for art therapy, which has helped me express myself and heal in a creative way. I am very grateful for this team. They have stood by me with patience, care, and respect, and that means more to me than words can fully explain. Thank you, Copa Health Metro Parkway and Omega Team, for truly being there for me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is the best SMI clinic I've ever been to! A big thank you to Jen the NP on the act team! She is very knowledgeable, kind and patient with me. Aaron is such a kind/caring case manager. To my knowledge he is newer… but honestly with how much he cares and how well he does you'd never know! Ashley, the housing specialist is also such a sweetie! When I was between case managers she stepped up and was there for me when I have questions. Huge shout out to Jeff the RN, he spent over an hour with me making specialist appointments. He even goes with me to the appointments! You guys care so much about your patients and it shows. ☺️🫶🏼🥹

Not even one star. The staff don't care about their patients at all. They rarely answer the phone. I'll be on hold for 30 minutes each time I call and almost every time it randomly hangs up before I can talk to a team… member. They hire absolutely incompetent people who don't do their jobs. Pharmacy staff are rude, front desk are rude, case managers are never available. And when you need a ride to an appointment it doesn't even show up 90% of the time. I've been without my medication because I can't get a ride to pick up my meds and can't get ahold of anyone. They promise things like housing assistance and vocational rehab but don't follow through. All these promises to help you never happen. DO NOT COME HERE!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this office. Recently, I was going through a med change and have needed a lot of support. My case manager always answered every email within 24 hours (and there were… multiple). Not feeling well, I showed up unannounced today needing help. Within a few hours, I saw my case manager, saw my doctor, and had an appointment with the nurse to get a needed med change. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure I was okay. Thank you so much COPA Metro Center for all you do to make sure I am well! PS--the office is beautiful and clean and the staff always friendly and helpful.

This place loves to set up appointments for you and not tell you till the day before at best. They schedule you then hold you responsible for not showing when they don't tell you about it. They have this new habit of… scheduling the nurse nonstop even when you don't need one. Better get your crap together before someone uses the hippa laws and sues you. You as a clinic have no right to schedule appointments without talking to your patients first. Needs to stop or you're being reported.

This Place is a Perfect Example of how Flawed our Healthcare System is. Even how Corrupt. How yall get all that funding and can't run a business properly. The Phones here Do Not Exist dont bother calling. Your Case… manager will switch a Million different times. So much so that you can't keep track. Not only that but they never answer the phone so what even is a case manager at this point. I've left Jacques a million messages. I think he must of died. Or he's underpaid and overworked like most of the people here. Hence why no urgency to truly help. I miss my old doctor Janina and case manager Rick. Since they left this place went downhill.

ABSOLUTELY, BY FAR, THE WORST "CARE"! I have reached out at least a dozen times and have yet to get a single call back. Iresha, being my case manager, failing to provide resources or even an acknowledgement of my… existence. Surviving out of spite ...is that a thing? Because it sure feels like that has been the case here. This place should be shut down or at the very least have their funding suspended until they actually provide the "help" they falsly claim to.

This location is great now since they moved to the new location. The staff is friendly and helpful. There's a lot more groups, and bathrooms. My team is awesome, caring, helpful and resourceful. They genuinely care… about me, and what affects my mental health and sobriety. Shout out to the Serenity Team for helping me to achieve my goals and reduce my stress level, and to Makenzye for being my Substance Abuse / Therapist... I no longer have to go to different day clinics to help me stay on track because they have a variety of groups that address my needs and wants. Life is great, and I'm able to see a brighter future that's within my grasp. Thank you COPA Metro for everything!
