Did not discharge my child with any documents, threatened calls to dcs with my son who is suspected of having conduct disorder, schizo affected disorder and sociopath. Made med changes but did not disclose them

They attempted to charge me a "coinsurance" when I told them that I have no copay at all and I have 3 types of insurance I repeatedly stated "call the carrier" and they did not and charged my credit card and have not… returned the charges and canceled my appointment that I had been waiting for. I was a BIG Fan of this place but now...not so much and I recommend that everyone question the "SO CALLED co pays an co insurance and the fact that they do not bridge controlled substances when controlled substances are the most controlled and easiest to track... just drug screen the patients and provide a week or whatever. Denying care is NOT in alignment with any oath we took when we entered the medical profession.

I don’t know how this place stays standing. Wait times are in hours. It took 5 hours just to get vitals and another two hours to be seen. Hire more providers. Bonus money ain’t gonna help.

The therapist is amazing but the rest of it has been a nightmare. They don't follow through with insurance having you as the go between. You won't be able to get a hold of anyone due to the call center. The call center… wanted to send me to billing rather than grevince and appeals and said that is not a department. The form is online but you need to be able to print and scan not hardly convenient. Seems like a disorganized mess. If someone calls you then you have to leave a voicemail with the call center to have them call you back. Update I have filed Grevince and received no response back. I was given a bill that I have to use affirm to pay off the choice is pay in full or other affirm. Still getting letters from my insurance. Don't go here it is a money grab. Update 1 year later. I am still paying off for profit prices and a non profit (after insurance) my grevinces have been ignored. I wish they would let me give them - stars. They would rather sell my debt to a collector then allow me time and give me the discount.

Pretty terrible company - I had a very controlling therapist who misdiagnosed me and wouldnt listen to me and argued with me exactly how my abusive parents did, which was very very harmful to me and I had to make the… choice to either stay with these people or go without talking to another human ever again and I went with the latter

This places fail us everyday. 5 hours in a room after checking in for a crisis and no interaction with one person , so sad.

Everyone is extremely rude. Most people are visiting on the worst night of their lives, a little bit of compassion would help. Absolutely pointless place, no help was given at all.

Absolutely horrible I was told by lead staff that because I was in patient in their care why I was there if I’m an adult. And they withheld from administrating my suboxone even though I had it in my property. The nurse… said I would have to ama to get my suboxone from my property but if I did that I wouldn’t receive the prescriptions they were going to prescribe. I am mentally disabled as well.

My husband was seen by Alyssa Bruns and was suffering with severe depression and anxiety forfew years. He went to Mind 24 because he was told they can help but unfortunately received the worse service. He was crying and… she showed no sympathy or compassion. She showed him nothing but hate and disdain. She told him he's been on more meds he's ever seen and that no meds can ever help him again. She left him with no hope whatsoever. She said was not even willing to help him and said she had nothing to give him. He is still traumatized by her hate and will neve forget how badly he was treated. We would give zero stars if we could. No one like her should be in the mental health industry.

Just want to thank everyone at mind 24 7, I came in while having a mental breakdown over loss of my son and since then receiving therapy from Troy Curtis and it’s literally saving my life. Troy thank you for all the… brain exercises , vagus nerve music and for always being such a great listener. We aren’t garbage to be thrown away . Thank you 😊

Worst night of my life. I went there to talk to someone for support. I was told it was voluntary. That I could leave at any time. But then I was forced to strip down, change into paper thin disposable scrubs, given a… thin blanket in an ice cold room, and told to lay down in a room with a ton of chairs and sleeping people. Not the best place for someone who wants support or a listening ear. I was there for over 5 hours. Most of which was spent in the waiting room. I was judged, the staff was rude and acted towards me as if I was burdening them by being there. They told me that my anxiety was not fair to them. A mental health clinic. Really? They forced me to speak to a doctor who only asked me basic screening questions and then tried to transport me for ONE MONTH of inpatient treatment. And I never once got anyone to talk to. They told my fiance I was spending the night, which I was not, and in turn we had to waste time and energy and gas coming back and forth. Do not go there if you value your mental health or relationships. Doctors were rude and belligerent to my fiance.

I came in yesterday for psychiatric services, and I had a really great experience. Everyone was friendly, helpful, patient, and attentive. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and the girl with the brown curly hair… was especially kind, respectful, and helpful every time I talked to her. I came in for a psych eval and to get set up with therapy. The psychiatrist was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. The case navigator got me connected with therapy really quickly, which I really appreciated. 10/10 experience, especially compared to my last visit. The improvement is honestly huge! The last time I came in, I got my psych eval, but there was a super long waitlist for therapy. They told me they'd follow up with me, but they never did. I called multiple times during business hours, left several voicemails, and never got a call back. That experience would've been more like a 4 or 5 out of 10. This time was a completely different experience. Everything was so much more organized, communication was better, and everyone seemed to genuinely care. Yesterday was an exponential improvement comparing it with my last visit!

I went to MIND 24-7 voluntarily because I was concerned about the effects of taking several prescribed medications together. I was experiencing intrusive thoughts and wanted professional guidance on my medications. At… no point did I tell staff that I intended to harm myself or anyone else. My experience quickly became concerning. I was repeatedly confused with another patient, and I believe important information about what I reported was documented inaccurately. My paperwork indicated that I had intent to harm myself, which did not reflect what I communicated. That documentation significantly changed the course of my care. I had an advocate with me to help me understand my options and make informed decisions. Despite repeatedly requesting access to my advocate, I was not allowed to speak with them for approximately seven hours. During that time, I felt isolated from the person I trusted to help me make important decisions. I was told that if I did not agree to go to an inpatient facility voluntarily, the police would be called to take me there. Faced with that choice and without access to my advocate, I felt I had no meaningful option but to comply. I sought help because I believed I was doing the responsible thing by asking questions about my medications before a crisis developed. Instead, I left feeling that my concerns had not been accurately understood or documented and that my ability to participate in decisions about my own care was severely limited. I have filed formal complaints with the appropriate agencies because I believe my experience raises serious concerns about communication, documentation, and respect for patient rights. My hope is that MIND 24-7 reviews its processes so that future patients receive accurate assessments, clear communication, and the opportunity to involve their chosen advocates in their care.

I came here when I was 17 (now 20) and it was horrible. Ive studied psychology and the law for a while. I was having a horrible break down but when I break down I dont want people to see so natrually I put the blanket… over me, thats when issues started. "Dont put the blanket over you, take it off" with an attitude. Okay cool, still crying. "Stop crying" with an attitude. I said I need meds my head hurts, "Okay give us a minute" turns into HOURS. Once my head hurts a lot, I need more than 2 painkillers (or heavier dosages) to help me. At this point I was furious. I was taken to a "private room" (mind you there was no such thing as privacy here. We dont have rooms and our "beds" are straight uo hospital beds....) that was like 10 feet away and used to give the children shots. I asked for a phone call and they replied "Nope, its not time". After going back and forth I replied "You cannot legally withhold a phone call to my grandmother, you are going against my rights." She finally let me get a call ONLY if I calmed down, I reminded her of what I said and she finally gave in. I dont know if this is illegal but I'll put it in; before she handed the phone to me she TOLD MY GRANDMA to not agree to let me go and that I needed "more care". They neglected my needs and tried to keep me against my rights. So here comes night time: im throwing up due to stress. By this time, I cannot sleep at all. Luckily, a nurse was there doing nightshifts and she was so kind. I dropped a cup of water and I got TERRIFIED due to earlier a child accidentally spilled some juice and the workers screamed at her. It was so traumatic. I didnt feel safe being there any longer, I needed to get out asap. I said I was fine and after my 24 hour stay, they let me go home. Please be aware that these people will take pictures of your past scars or any cuts etc. This was a suprise to me and I was forced to follow these rules. They really suck at helping people. When a child is distressed, its immediate 'booty juice' (the calming shot) which is quite abusive. Once I got home, I fell asleep and my dream was severely lucid I thought I was at the hospital again so i panic so badly until I felt my stuff animal and got a grip on reality that im home on a REAL bed. My advice to anyone, know your laws. If you see abusive behavior, point it out and state your laws. If you are being taken advantage of or being abused, don't be afraid to speak up.

The facility and the staff here are ok and not bad but don't come here expecting affordable service, and don't expect any finical aid if your struggling from job loss, just only a payment plans or pay it all so they… still get their dollar while offering no help really. A single visit with only a prescription for hydroxyzine was over $800 (split 50/50 with insurance basically) there was nothing special done. I should have just gone to a regular urgent care for $200. If you are having a real crisis don't go here they will give you another with billing.

This place is abusing people. How it is still legally in business is beyond me. They advertise as urgent care for mental health, available to help with “medication adjustments,” and “most people are out in 2 hours.”… Instead, you check in and they remove all your belongings and cellphone prior to even doing an assessment. Taking away a patients only communication to the world before you’ve conducted an assessment is inhumane. Once they’ve finally done an assessment (less than 10 minutes with a provider), you are placed in a room with several other people with NO BEDS, just chairs and bright lights that stay on ALL NIGHT, where you are expected to stay all night for “observation.” You are completely duped into this entire process. How they expect anyone to stay in a room with other people with all the lights on while listening to people’s blood curdling screams… and somehow think that would help anyone’s mental health is absolutely insane. If you finally reach your breaking point and ask to leave, because after all it is “voluntary,” you will repeatedly be told that “you can’t leave until you see you provider,” and when you ask to see them, “your provider isn’t here right now.” You’ll probably have to ask to leave 5-6 times before someone will allow you to leave this living hell.

This 5 star review goes out to Mind 24/7 Phoenix office, the incredible front desk staff, check in nurse, and Dr Mark the mental health provider on staff the day my son both needed medical help, compassion, and a path… forward. No parent is ever prepared for their child to be diagnosed with a concerning mental health condition that requires both medication management as well as a dedicated team of health professionals to point out a path forward. Well it was a Wednesday and I’m the mom who brought my son to Mind 24/7 and walked through this very situation and what I thought would be an impossible situation, with the professionals at the a Phoenix location, turned out better than expected. They took excellent care of my child, listened and got to the root of the issue very quickly, took immediate action, and ultimately put my son on a path to healing without any judgement or mental health stigma at any point during his visit. I am so grateful for the service provided that Wednesday and Dr Mark you are living proof that not all hero’s wear capes. Bless you sir for all you did, do, and will yet do for our community sir.

Zero stars! I came in today because I have been experiencing alot of anxiety, and run out of there with an anxiety attack! I came in seeking mental support for the anxiety I have been experiencing, and first the wait… time is long. people infront of me had been there for 4 hours prior to me arriving. When I was taken for vitals they asked me to give urine sample in a very filthy unisex restroom, I asked if i could get something to wipe the toilet at least. They called in maintenence and the guy just acted like he cleaned the restroom, when I went back I had to clean the toilet to be able to give them a sample! Agh! When I was getting my vitals the nurses were talking to patients at the door, and per their conversations I started getting a little anxious, I had asked if my partner could be with me and at first they had said yes but when i came out of the restroom he was sent to the lobby, when the nurses were having conversations i asked if he could be with me and the nurse rudely said no! At that point one of the nurses said "this people are so entitled" and that broke my spirit of needing help and had a full blown anxiety attack, while I started walking out because I no longer felt safe in there! I can not believe this place is supposed to help people get better! Not make them feel worst about seeking help! Oh but they did run my insurance and charged the co-pay but didnt offer any refunds, since I was not seen by a doctor!

This place is joke. I've taken so many teens here for actual help including my own daughter. It's always a 3 hour wait no matter if they arrive with a crisis team, or the police. They dont do anything. They dont help… anyone. They just waste everyone's time and send them back home to cause more harm.

Walk-in: total time spent here was about 4.5 hours (10:30AM-2:58). I advise people to expect a long wait time and to bring a list of medications along with what you’ve struggled with before (I made a summary on my notes… app while waiting). I kept myself occupied with sleeping, making tissue art, and mumble-singing musicals (I get a bit restless in mental health settings over time). You cannot have anything besides your phone in the room so either have full battery or prepare to entertain yourself. The meeting with the therapist was brief (advised to continue seeing my therapist). However, the psychiatrist was helpful with understanding how many medications I’ve taken and what they are for. Since I’ve tried multiple SSRIs over the years, I was offered a SNRI prescription. I am very glad I was able to get a new medication so quickly as I came in essentially asking “why is this happening? / what is it?” That’s an impossible question but I left the clinic feeling less lost. I recommend if you’re okay with waiting and able to entertain yourself.

When you feel frustrated don't let them know otherwise they'll force you to stay when your just frustrated and they'll tell your clinic to partition you to be hospitalized for just showing emotions. They make situations… worse than it really is. If I could give negative stars I would. Don't get fooled they don't care.

******UPDATE***** While, I do see that the organization responded to my initial review. I can firmly say they genuinely do not care about improvement or about childcare. Just a few weeks ago, the exact same child that I… wrote about had another mental health crisis that was violent and it harmed himself and others. His elderly parents took him to MIND 24/7 again to get help. They waited there for five hours and at the five hour mark they were told they would have to wait several more hours if they wanted to be seen by anyone. If you need help of any kind, this is not the place to go. ORIGINAL REVIEW We brought a minor to this facility for an emergency psychiatric evaluation after a serious behavioral incident involving law enforcement, a parole officer, and a parent all recommending a psychiatric hold for safety reasons. We arrived at approximately 5:25 PM expecting an in-person crisis assessment. After waiting several hours, we were told no provider would see us for many more hours unless we agreed to a telehealth appointment. This was presented as the only option, so we agreed. The telehealth evaluation took place over a broken television with little to no audio capability. The provider appeared unaware that an evaluation had been scheduled and communication was extremely difficult due to the equipment issues. Given the seriousness of the situation, this made it nearly impossible to properly explain safety concerns or for the provider to conduct what felt like a thorough assessment. Despite the circumstances that brought us in, including recommendations for a psychiatric hold, the visit resulted in a prescription unrelated to the behavioral crisis and discharge around 10:15 PM without what felt like a comprehensive evaluation. Families come to facilities like this during moments of fear and crisis expecting proper mental health assessment and support. Unfortunately, our experience felt rushed, disorganized, and not equipped to safely evaluate a child in psychiatric distress. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in crisis response procedures, communication, and equipment so future families receive the level of care and attention these situations require.

Attended outpatient treatment

When I saw this place was open 24-7 I was glad to have a place to go that actually fit into my schedule. I was able to go in the evening and barely had to wait, everything was very efficient and quick. All in all, I spent about 90 minutes total, got to speak with a provider and got a rx for new medication. I would recommend this place especially if you're busy, there's no excuse.
