Best decision of my life. I went in a wreck and came out peaceful and centered. The staff, Maryellen, Laura, Emma, Joelle, Victoria and Cara are incredibly knowledgeable and most importantly compassionate. I would… recommend this place to anyone who needs some mental health help. I came out with emotional intelligence that I wish I had gotten 50 years ago. Greatest education of my life.
The treatment mainly includes group therapy and learning classes. If you are looking for help with OCD it's important to know that they don't provide Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) which is the most effective… treatment for OCD. They use more of a DBT approach. I think the people working there have good intentions but I felt this method made my OCD symptoms worse instead of better. A tip: if you have any questions about costs or insurance I suggest talking directly with the billing team or your insurance company. I found the front desk to give questionable information. In general I would suggest this program if you like group therapy. If you want more personal therapy, a doctor who focuses on one specific problem, like OCD or a place that has ERP then you should look somewhere else.
For me, it's been basically a review of DBT skills that I have already learned in therapy, and other DBT skills that I have learned at my time at High Focus. I have done the PHP program, and I'm currently doing the IOP… program. It has been an adjustment in different levels, including perspective. It is intense and can be repetitive, but it is worth it. I recommend it.
Wonderful. Very professional and empathic staff. Melissa Zeiss, Marianne Guerino and Victoria were exceptional.
I can't complain other than to say I wish they had a follow-up program post discharge where I could continue to get support (perhaps a few hours one day a week for a while). Besides that, the clinicians there were very… personable, non-judgmental, supportive, and caring. The clinician assigned to me was willing to work with me at my own pace in recovery going along with me through all the stages of change I went through. They do multiple urine drug screenings a week which I look for in a program to help me stay sober. I found the educational and processing groups helpful as well as my individual sessions with my clinician. Good luck!
I could give this place less stars if I could. The first time we used this place it was great. The second time I don’t think we were treated fairly and my daughter was forcibly discharged and moved to another facility.… We had to fight them to get a few more days while we struggled to find care and get the school situated. It felt like they couldn’t wait to get rid of us. We never had a family session to discuss, there was no support to us as a family. It’s terrible how people lose compassion for patients and families experiencing mental health crises.
The entire staff is wonderful, they are all knowledgeable and helpful! They provide great education and resources, and it is a very supportive environment. I would definitely recommend this program to others!
I sought treatment for depression and anxiety disorder at High Focus. The clinical staff are all very thorough and amazing. The group therapy sessions teach you the necessary coping skills to succeed once you get… discharged.
High focus center and program were extremely beneficial to my child. Improvement continues even after program has ended. They provided great support, coping skills, and many resources for aftercare. I highly recommend… this program !
Literally the best place for php and iop treatment!!
Taylor Caldwell and Victoria Salazar our horrible clinicians.
All the staff are so kind and friendly.

From the initial intake phone call and face to face intake, to the daily groups, safety of those groups, facilitating clinicians, Jamie my direct clinical, Dr falls and Dr Or, and Tara and the front office- life… changing treatment. Over 27 new concepts or allowing me to see and start utilizing the skills that I was blind to. I made profound connections to my life. I have always ha a fear of affirmations. The Coping Cards connected with me. I now have a ring of 25. Thank you for giving me back to me. Feel free to use this feedback. John Scott the Duck Whisper
An absolutely wonderful place to get care. Staff is compassionate and empathetic. Treatment is obviously not anyone’s favorite thing to do, but they make it more enjoyable with a wide variety of support group… activities, and it’s really nice getting to know the other patients as well. You form a bond and trust with the patients and counselors you see everyday. Very positive environment and everyone gets the opportunity to share their struggles and support one another
I went to high focus and it’s a amazing place to feel comfortable with other people especially with Anxitey and depression I suffer with both I’ve had Anxitey since I was six years old but the start of 2023 I started… going through a mental crisis and I left my highschool and went to high focus it was probably the best experience I’ve ever had at a place who really cares about anxiety all the staff is very understanding when not feeling well and so many more things my counselor was Sarah she was absolutely amazing I couldn’t ask for anyone better she really helped me through a lot even when she was super busy without high focus I probably would still be hopeful of ever getting better❤️
I loved it, it was so informative and I met so many of my now friends there!
I have worked in mental health and I have been exposed to all levels and types of illnesses, as well as, the different levels of treatment. I am familiar with several of the local agencies in the area and when my own 22… yro daughter was being discharge from inpatient to High Focus, I wasn't thrilled. I did try to remain open minded but, after 8 weeks my daughter is leaving program without the coping skills she needs to integrate back into every day life. So now that her insurance coverage time is up, off she goes. Discharge plan for weekly therapy sessions with her previous therapist and a reduction from full time to part job hours because she says she is too anxious to go back to regular life. SO what happens on down time? I have no idea but anyone leaving IOP AND having too much downtime is a relapse waiting to happen. A good program would not encourage a patient to leave program without a plan to fill downtime with productive activities. Sorry to say, this one is not encouraging her or has taught her how to cope with life stress so that she can get back to her normal life before she was hospitalized. If there is a need for IOp again, I would discourage her from this program.
I spent a few days trying to work with them with my insurance to get my son enrolled. They kept telling me that I needed to reach a $1500 deductible with them before insurance covering. I spoke to my insurance who… ensured me it was under mental health and 100% covered with a $20 copay. I ended up having to getting a reference number with insurance and continued to follow up with them on this until we were all on same page. I understand this was not their fault but my point is that I was working hard to get everything to get my son help. Once this was agreed, I was ready to have him start the next day. Then suddenly I get a call that b/c my ex husband (child's father) cleans their office, it is a conflict of interest and they can't take him at that office. Mind you he cleans in evenings and weekends without anyone there and files should be locked up. I fail to see the conflict of interest and am very agitated that after all of this wait and work they turned my son away last minute who desperately needs their help.
And I will keep it short and sweet… High focus has been the most amazing experience. The clinicians there are lovely people who are the epitome of professionalism. Tackling mental health and substance abuse issues is… never easy but at high focus they make sure to educate in a caring environment. The facility itself is very nice and I can honestly say that my presence there has made a huge impact on my life. Forever indebted to them
I can't say enough good things about the Branchburg Center. The therapists are very caring. Danny is outstanding - kind, relatable, understanding. My child feels safe there. I highly recommend if your child needs IOP… (Intensive Outpatient) treatment. The faciality is clean and modern. My child is on the younger side for the program (12) and had no issues fitting in with the high school students. Also I was asked if I was open to medication for my child and I was even given time to think about it. It was never pushed only discussed. The psychiatrists there are great too. We have A. Rodrigues.
They are a very compassionate and really do care for the well being of the kids. My Son just left there after a 15 day stay and I’m very encouraged on seeing his progress. Kristin my Sons therapist was FANTASTIC!!
