Richard Hall CHWC – Bridgewater Detox and Rehab Services
Richard Hall CHWC – Bridgewater is listed as running intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
Both conditions are treated in parallel, which is what the research supports. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

Richard Hall CHWC – Bridgewater Address, Location and Contact Information
The facility address is 500 North Bridge Street, Bridgewater, New Jersey, 8807. This address falls in Somerset County. Provision extends to the wider area, so check the journey before you set off. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.
Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

Richard Hall CHWC – Bridgewater Reviews and Ratings
Whether you are here to read reviews of Richard Hall CHWC or to write one, this section is the place. Patients, family members and professionals who know the Bridgewater program are welcome to contribute.
Richard hall is the worst place to get help for anger management. They insist you pay $20:00 For a book (A Copied few pages) Tell you that you it is necessary or you can't attend. Then lie and dismiss you for… attendance. Not mentioning the so called mandatory book. I showed my Dr.s appointed notes for 2 days I missed. The 3rd day I was told not to show up with no money or I can't attend. Very. Unorganized , and no one is on the same page. They dismissed me against all there own regulations. CLIENT HANDBOOK Page 27 RIGHTS REGARDING INVOLUNTARY DISCHARGE First Paragraph. Never set forth procedures to appeal
This was probably the worst "therapy" I have received. For starters, it feels like a mental hospital or as if you're on probation rather than a counseling center or place to help. For anyone under 18 years old, they… make them fill out a depression sheet every time without fail (similar to a probation sheet). Additionally, the nurses and other medical assistants are miserable and seem like they hate their jobs, pretty ironic imo for a psychiatric help center. The therapists and psychologists might be the most unhelpful people to meet. I once was discussing schooling with one of the therapists, about affording a private education which can cost upwards of 15 - 30 thousand dollars minimum. She informed me I could pay for said education by "getting a summer job" even as a minor. If you plan on going here I would highly recommended looking elsewhere as this place is utterly terrible.
I’m a sixteen year old girl, and had Angelica as my art therapist for the past year. I originally went because I had recently been sexually assaulted, and then kept therapy over time because of anxiety, my father’s… cancer diagnosis, and various friends of mine having mental health issues that had also weighed on me. She was a good therapist and I liked therapy with her, but I have been struggling more recently and once a week has not been doing it for me. My mother called ahead of my session today to tell her just how bad I was doing, in the hopes of giving me a starting off point for my session to perhaps discuss medication, more therapy, etc. However, when I went to my session she asked both me and my mom to come in and then told us how she felt she couldn’t give me enough care and wanted to put me in an outpatient group therapy program. That’s pretty much all the information she gave, and asked us what we thought of that, we were both very confused, she had my mom go back to the waiting room, then I began to cry. At some point her supervisor walked by and wanted to come in to check how things are going, at which point they both started staring at me while I sobbed, and asking me “what specifically about this was upsetting”. Then the supervisor left, I cried for the rest of my session, me and my therapist went to the printer to get the resources for the programs, each are like half an hour away by the way. Afterwards on the drive home me and my mom were both so confused and upset we turned around to ask Angelica more questions. I stayed in the car and my mom spoke to her, and she said that Richard Hall doesn’t do more than 1 session a week, and that my anxiety has gotten better but I’ve been showing worsening depression symptoms. I have one more session with her next week, but I’m canceling it since I feel like I can’t trust her anymore after they sprung this on me and then stared at me for 45 minutes.
I strongly suggest seeking care at another facility. Very unfortunately, my mental health was in a significantly worse state being treated here. When I shared my Richard Hall experiences with other (mental) health care… professionals, they were alarmed and advised I leave immediately. My wellbeing has improved since.
I can never say enough good words for the care I have been receiving at RH! The warm and welcoming Front Desk people, always so very helpful and the quality of medicine management that I have received here, since past… few years deserve SPECIAL mention! Thank you all!
I have been to several Mental health faciltys and Richard hall is by far the best I've ever been to from everyone who greats you at the reception desk up to the top Therapist, APN'S and Case Workers. I have never heard… nor have I been to a place where they actually care about their clients. Love you all!! Thank you so much.
My sister went to see Daniel O’Connell and it was an absolutely terrible experience for her. He is extremely unprofessional and lacks any empathy. He has no ability to connect with his patients. I feel sorry for his… other clients.
I haven't even been there yet but I've had at least 10 phone calls and everybody that I've spoken to is beyond helpful beyond nice absolutely amazing. I wish I would have found these people a long time ago. But… regardless I'm happy that I came across this facility when I did.
this place is a money grab DONT go here if you want to get better in an shape or form. extremely unprofessional by gaslighting is their favorite game here
My son went here for therapy seeing Daniel o Connell and he felt like it was extremely invasive, unprofessional and they made him feel like he was talking to a cop. Walking lawsuit is right. Broken HIPPA law many times.
One of the worst places I’ve been! Went here while waiting for insurance and they basically told me I couldn’t go there anymore because I work too much
I have been going here for 3 years and honestly i know it sounds like a long time but I’ve grown, changed, and developed so many healthy coping skills. I’m glad i found this location and that i continue to go!
Richard halls clinical director heather is very poor in her ability to manage her team and is very unprofessional.
Terrible place and people. Keep your children away!
Front desk doesn’t answer the phone and purposely ignores phone calls when they don’t want to help you
Jay is an amazing person. Most helpful person ever. He helped me get housing for two years, gave me rides when I needed them ,and just a great person to meet. Definitely knows his job. Bianca is a great Dr that actually… listens to what my problems are and a big help. Christina is also very helpful and understanding. None of these people are judgemental and very respectful. If I could give them 10 stars I would
Do not go here! Spent 10 minutes waiting to be checked in and then get ridiculed by my psychiatrist for being late. Every-time I go here I leave with extremely high anxiety. The nurses however are very nice but you only… see them for 2-5 minutes. Hopefully getting off my medicine and getting out of here soon.
Excellent service! The people here are incredibly friendly and well-educated. Everyone took the time to guide me through with detail. Special thanks to John, Luke, Austin, and Christin for mentoring and teaching me so… well. I highly recommend joining their courses, as they help foster better relationships with spouses, kids, and partners for everyone.
VERY unprofessional and potentially illigal Poor management Not a great experience from a management POV. Rules are targeted at protecting bad therapists. Managers belittle patients, threaten and lie. This place is a… walk in lawsuit. Therapists are okay but not great. If you don’t like your therapist they make you confront the therapist in an unprofessional and potentially illigal scenario. They will defend the therapist and attempt to gas light you into changing how you feel about the situation. If you still want a new therapist the management will attempt and threaten to have you removed from any other services you use.
Thank you very much for your help.
On time for my appointment Stopped Wellbutrin
My experience with counselor Luke was thoroughly disappointing and counterproductive. Luke not only failed to offer any meaningful support, but he also managed to make me feel worse than before. His lack of empathy and… professionalism was glaring, and it was evident that he was more interested in unrelated topics than addressing the issues at hand. Rather than providing a safe and confidential space, Luke's apparent disinterest in my concerns created an uncomfortable atmosphere during our sessions. I would strongly advise against seeking help from Luke, as his incompetence and lack of genuine care make him an unsuitable and unhelpful counselor.
Good reception.
Don’t come here unless your FORCED to. Terrible i can clearly tell they only care about money and not the actually people in need of services…they make their determinations of what they recommend for you to do within… days all based off one visit…they will tell you that you need services that you probably don’t actually need just to make them a little extra buck…
