ARS of Ephrata – Ephrata Detox and Rehab Services
ARS of Ephrata – Ephrata is listed as running intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.
Only one side is on record here, so ask directly if both are needed. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

ARS of Ephrata – Ephrata Address, Location and Contact Information
You will find this provider at 11 South State Street, Ephrata, Pennsylvania, 17522. Ephrata sits in Lancaster County. Provision extends to the wider area, so check the journey before you set off. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.
A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. Remote appointments may be possible where travel is a barrier. Admissions lines are frequently busiest early in the week, which is worth knowing if the first attempt fails.

When reading, give most weight to concrete detail, such as how quickly an appointment was offered or how family members were kept informed.
ARS of Ephrata deserves recognition for their professionalism, kindness, and dedication. During two separate guest‑dosing attempts, their staff — including Brittany (the front desk supervisor) on both dates and the… front desk team, I forget the guys name on the first attempt and Neshlian for the 2nd attempt — worked tirelessly for hours to help us, even when paperwork from our home clinic was repeatedly incorrect or incomplete. They communicated clearly, treated us with dignity, and never once made us feel like a burden. Their compassion stood out, especially compared to the difficulties we experienced elsewhere. I highly recommend ARS of Ephrata for anyone seeking respectful, patient‑centered care. Oh and their methadone tastes absolutely wonderful compared to Coatesville Comprehensive Treatment Center's Methadone. Ctc's methadone tastes so nasty and ARS of Ephrata's methadone taste fresh and the best I have ever had. My husband and friend also agree.
This is truly the nicest clinic I’ve ever stepped into. I wasn’t even a regular patient — just a guest — yet I was treated with a level of kindness and humanity that I honestly wasn’t expecting. Neshlian at the front… desk made an incredible difference for me. Her warmth, patience, and genuine care stood out immediately. She didn’t just do her job; she went out of her way to help me. She called my clinic when they failed to send the paperwork, and when she overheard how my counselor spoke to me on speakerphone, she offered words of encouragement that I really needed in that moment. I was embarrassed and upset, but her compassion made me feel seen, respected, and human again. Her energy lifted me up when I felt small. Brittany also went above and beyond, and I want to thank her just as deeply. Both of you — and everyone else at the clinic — made a meaningful impact on me. Your kindness changed my entire day, and I won’t forget it. Thank you, truly, for treating me with such care.
The staff there are the best I ever had to deal with I've been going to clinics for a while now and the front desk lady went above and beyond so thank you for all the staff. They treat you like a human. So thank you for… all you do
All these methadone clinics are ridiculous Yes, they help people get offered the hard drugs, but they also keep them dependent on the methadone which also screws up their life because of the fact that they don’t have… the methadone they get sick and if they get sick, they can’t hold their jobs which they lose their jobs, but that these clinics rely on is a key people on methadone instead of trying to get them off of it in a timely manner they don’t care about people. All they care about is the money that comes in from the insurance companies and the people that have to pay out-of-pocket I know a few people that go there and right now one of them is very close to me that is sick as hell cause she can’t afford the money to get there to get her methadone and something that should only be like maybe a year that’s going on at least six cause they keep people on them instead of trying to get them off of the drugs now she’s thinking about contacting someone to get her a bag of drugs so she’s not so sick because of this place
The providers and staff are great! They go out of their way to provide exceptional care! And the transportation is outrageous! Also the new director actually is awesome and aproachable. Brittany ,Patty and Storm are… exceptional.! Keep up the good work!
Been going here for a long time and I think overall the staff is pretty good . The time is a good pace for the most part
This place has went above and beyond for me including Sara, Brittany,Storm PA, Karlie,All the counselors and nurses involved. I care about all of you a great deal and I Love You all! Keep up the good work and stay safe… through the upcoming blizzard;
I had this place all wrong myself and ALL. the other customers think the place would be a lot better with a different boss that old lady is rude loud and yells at the staff in front of customers she must be the owners… wife because it’ is shameful the other workers there are great the front desk lady the cuounselors my favorite is the black lady she makes everybody coffee she makes us all feel important like we matter to her she is soooo funny but she don’t play!
Good people who actually care about you. From the front desk to the nurses desk always professional and open minded.
Aisha is an amazing person with an amazing heart she helped me threw the toughest times when I was without! Aisha is one of my best friends and I feel like no matter what she would fight for me if you need help or your… struggling with anything Aisha will help you! She cares! She's been where you've been and she can compare to where you've been in your life! She has been fighting for me since the first day we met! Thank you Aisha I thank God for you you helped save my life!
I love this place more then the Ars of lancaster and the ephata clinic has shown me compassion and love and I love my new counselor iesha she helped me ALR with transportation and she treats me like a human being and… lancaster didn't I. can talk to her abt Everything and anything. 💯
Ayeshea had not been with her very long at all but feels like it and she most definitely will go up and beyound to help you with things especially if she knows/sees you serious about helping yourself in any situations.… I have been in therapy my whole life ever did I only have 1 that I was able to fully trust and fully confine in when they were no longer available I thought for sure being fully open was out of the question again but thankfully Ayeshea has most definitely givin me the comfortable and trusting environment and that I can confine in her with and for anything. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to have/get an amazing real counsler and that don't just hear you brush you off and of I know how you feel ect when really they dont....
One Star – Extremely Disrespectful and Unprofessional Staff I spent several hours at ARS Epheta Methadone Clinic today with my son, who is receiving treatment after becoming addicted to pain medication following a… work-related injury. What I witnessed was deeply upsetting and unacceptable. While waiting, I observed the two women working at the front desk—one wearing glasses and one without—openly gossiping about patients who came in to dose. Not only were their conversations unprofessional, but they also made rude facial expressions and comments about people who are clearly struggling and seeking help. As a parent, it was incredibly painful to see patients being treated with such disrespect and lack of compassion. Wanting to report this behavior, I asked to speak with the clinic’s director—only to find out that the woman wearing the glasses was the director herself. It’s absolutely disheartening to know that this kind of culture starts at the top. People come here during some of the most difficult times in their lives. They deserve dignity, respect, and support—not judgment and ridicule from the very people who are supposed to be helping them. I hope this review brings attention to the toxic environment at this location. Leadership needs to change, and staff need to be held accountable for their actions.
They were all great!! Brittany helped me handle my insurance. There was a misunderstanding and I wasn’t feeling the best. She was so patient a kind!!
Amazing, my son has been attending counseling there for two months. There is such a significant change in his mental health and behaviors, he apologizes when he's wrong and has truly improved in all areas. He tells me… that he has been following his counselor's suggestions and that she's teaching him to change his thought process and conflict resolution. Her name is Iesha. I had the pleasure of speaking with her yesterday, and she truly cares, such a rarity today, especially in the fields of mental health and addiction.
Brittany and the rest of the staff, Ms. Dawn, Sarah, the many counselors, but Ms. Deb is the one who has been there for ME and I can count on her to call me out of the blue to check on me and see how I'm doing, to see… if there's anything I may need from her to keep myself on the right track and remain sober. For myself, I also need a program, because I am a recovering addict and I know just putting down the substances and getting on methadone matience is Not going to KEEP ME sober, I recognize THAT in myself, and Ms. Deb not only supports me in that, she will also make recommendations of other resources, and other spots that I can get plugged in to my recovery!!! THAT is what a RECOVERY place should be about, AND THAT is what ARS of Ephrata is 💯 about!!!! ARS saved my life and I make sure to NEVER forget THAT!!!!
Great place, has helped me alot with my problems, Brittany and Chelsea are awesome, the lady at window 3 is the best to
I wanted to share my experience for all who are reading this because ARS saved my life. My first interaction was with Brittney (front desk) . Had it not been for Brittney I would have never stepped through those doors… and allowed ARS to change my life. Brittney was so patient, caring, loving, Empathetic and hopeful. And that was just in my phone conversation with her. When I walked in those doors on that Monday morning and she realized that I was who I was, her face lit up like a Christmas tree, thanking me for showing up. Brittney and the rest of the staff are always very nice, friendly And helpful. I don’t know what I would do without them. I hope this review helps to anybody who’s struggling or on the fence of making your first phone call. But it saved my life. Thank you to all the ARS staff, especially Brittney. One day at a time
Love this place! I promise if it wasn’t for the counselor Deb I don’t think I would have got clean. I knew when I completely stranger told me she will leave work or call off or take me on the weekend to take me to the… hospital to get clean because I might die. I knew that I had to get clean. The nurses are amazing too. Honestly everyone is great. 😂 great place to get clean I do owe everything to that woman and place!
I love you guys! If we didn’t have car issues and time limits we’d still be with you guys. You actually want us to get better and help us more then Lancaster ars. Maybe we’ll come back to you in time :)
If it wasn’t for this place and the Lord I wouldn’t be here today. But thank God I’m going on 9 years clean and sober and can’t wait for many more years to come!!!!
Top notch, this is one of thee best mmt clinics I have been to, and I've been to A LOT!!!! Just here in PA - Coatesville, Lebanon, Lancaster. Arizona-university behav health, SMC AZ, new hope BH, Bart chandler.… California - west pac (van Nuys, Reseda, Sepulveda, North Hollywood, panorama city) American Hospital, Tarzana TC, Washington- Spokane TC, New Start, Spokane reg health dist. And I probably forgot a few, but this place ROCKS!! Hell, they even provide transportation!!!! Thanks ARC Ephrata!!!
This place saved my life. There is a significant reason I drive 45mins once a week for my doses when the Lancaster one is 15 mins away… These women working here, I hold near and dear to my heart. The level of care and… kindness you will receive here is beyond words. These people care, and they want to see you become your best you again through your recovery. They will work with you and continue to assist you in anyway they are legally allowed to. They will help you fill out government forms, they will help you with housing, they will be that shoulder to cry on when you need it most. When no one else in my life understood me, they did. And I thank them everyday for their support through my healing journey.
This place is amazing. Great staff that are very nice. I'll recommend them highly to who needs their help thanks.
I am very grateful for ARS of Ephrata, also known as Addiction Recovery Services. They employ staff members that care about your quality of life within your treatments and your recovery. I recommend this ARS to anyone… thinking about MEDICAL THERAPY or switching from a current clinic. Compared to N.D. in Wyomissing, PA, The experience is night and day difference and is much better I would give them a 9.5 out of 10. Also, the most important part to me was: You don’t need to wait for 6 weeks per take home bottle. ARS are reasonable with regards for how quickly you can acquire take home dose bottle privileges. If you live in outside of Ephrata like me in Reading, they provide a van for transportation at no cost. I am very pleased with this facility and plan to stay with them for a long time.
Best way to get clean. Lancaster ls not safe but Ephreta is a good atmosphere and no drama or shady people. I'm not even aware that I have a addiction because it is not anything about my treatment that is a hassle or… stigma attached.
Awesome staff!
I am a first time patient being on this medication so I cannot compare to other clinics but I can tell you this one is excellent every single staff member is very nice. They are patient first focus the doctors are… excellent
