Forge Health – Doylestown Reviews and Ratings
Accreditation and licensing tell part of the story at Forge Health. Reviews from patients and their loved ones tell another part, and the two are shown on this page so they can be read together.
I use Forge for psychiatry and see Kimberlie monthly for med changes and maintenance. I've worked with her for about two years now and she's been an absolute angel. I've had some wild lows over the past year and Kim has… been a huge support and I can tell she really cares about me. Lately, we tried a new medicine and it's been a game changer in my daily life. Thanks to Kimberlie and the admins behind the scenes!
Been with Forge for about a year and a half. I owe them so much; they've truly helped me through some dark times. Great place, great people.
My experience with Forge Health has been outstanding ! Nico is the best therapist. Personable, kind, real & knowledgeable. Thanks to our work together I’m in such a better place than I was a year ago. Renee was my first… point of contact and she was great ! Very kind & knows her stuff. They’re lucky to have someone like her working there. I would recommend Forge Health to everyone. They listened to what I was looking for and paired me with the fabulous Nico ! It’s made a difference in my life guiding me to the help & healing I needed.
I have nothing but the utmost respect for Forge Health. I spent years trying to find a psychiatrist and therapist to properly treat my ADHD and kept running into the same barriers. No availability, long waitlists, or no… follow-up. When I found Forge Health, everything was different. My intake was completed quickly and my first appointment was scheduled right away. That alone was a huge relief at a time when I really needed support. It has been a few years now, and I can truly say I look forward to my monthly appointments with Kimberlie Taylor. She is thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely invested in my care. I always feel heard, respected, and supported. I am incredibly grateful for this office and the care they provide. Finding the right mental health support can be difficult, and Forge Health made that process feel accessible and human.
Make 2026 the year that you invest in yourself.
This place is okay, with some great people and some that just shouldn’t be in the mental health field by any means. I feel like they are only good at dealing with people in an average mental state, they don’t know how… to handle people who are showing signs of their mental illness. Mentally ill people can be aggressive, mean, short tempered, emotional etc and they just aren’t good at dealing with people who are vulnerable and showing negative signs of their illnesses. Their one therapist seems to find joy in the level of power she holds over her patients which is very odd and frightening. I also find it odd that a few days after a bad review was written about Kim and brianne a positive review was written solely on those two? Almost makes it seem as though they’re trying to cast themselves in a positive light. All things considered if you’re not capable of masking your symptoms don’t go here.
This practice is great. The therapists are all so caring and fantastic. I’ve been to a few places and never felt as comfortable as I do here. The progress I’ve made with Kim and Brianne has been wonderful. After some… negative experiences other places I was hesitant to try again but I’m so glad I did.
If you wanna add to your abandonment issues BOY have you found the correct place. Idek where to start with them, the psychiatrist Kim told me she didn’t wanna give me a “heavy diagnosis” of bipolar right away but then… put me on a medication that if your bipolar it can make you hallucinate and wanna off yourself! (Which it did). Consistent miscommunication amongst ALL staff members about appointment times and doctor changes. The best part though is when your in IOP and a fellow group member begins to sexually harass you online they won’t do anything about for at least 2-3 weeks! They’ll continue allowing him to attend while you feel unsafe with him there and then get mad at you for missing group! Breanne, what a TREAT she is let me tell you. I mentioned possibly having a psychosis episode so she told me I needed to be medically cleared to continue IOP(which I was TWICE) and she still refused to let me attend and lied saying I was never cleared even though I have the papers, she also lied saying I made no progress through my time in IOP and I should be discharged (mind you my INSURANCE company) gets sent progress reports stating otherwise. You know the place your at is a real horrible place when your insurance company is the better of the two and more on your side. Breanne also clearly favors her male patients. Multiple times a Man fell ASLEEP in group and she said and did nothing but I left the room for 10 minutes cause my grandmom died and I came back to me being kicked out of group:) she also tells at the women for not participating but tells the men participation is not required. Honestly deserves to lose her job and her license she’s a REAL piece of work. No talking politics in group unless their the politics she agrees with. Overall save yourself more trauma and AVOID forge all together.
The one star is for the therapist I have, if it wasn’t for her this place would have ZERO stars. The counselor Breanne is just ew. She’s rude, she favors men, and she honestly should have her license revoked.
Forge is a very ethical mental health clinic. Their process is goal-oriented and results-driven. My therapist worked with me to identify and target what I specifically needed to address and work on. We developed a… treatment plan and mental worked on developing skills and strategies to resolve my issues! All staff encountered were perfectly professional. I recommend Forge Health.
This place is horrific. I have tried contacting them for MONTHS due to outrageous charges they are trying to force me to pay, but they refuse to give me so much as an emailed response written by a real, live human. They… are now threatening to send me to collections for more than $2,300 worth of charges for the three or four months I attended therapy at Forge. How can I have accumulated such a massive amount when I'm paying with insurance and I didnt have that many sessions?! We had to cancel at least two or three within those few months due to my therapist being on vacation or unavailable. It makes no sense and was never communicated to me. They never even told me how much sessions cost. And, of course, no one will call or email me back. While still at Forge, I was confused about payments, so I checked the portal. I saw no balance, and asked my therapist about this. They reached out to the billing department and told me I did not have a balance. So, it's no mystery I'm extremely surprised at this gigantic bill that they just keep sending automated emails and letters in the mail about. It's not difficult to send me a quick email from a real human being! We would have this solved so quickly! I'm not trying to duck any real financial responsibility I may have, but I can't make $2k+ (for who knows what because they won't tell me) appear out of thin air! If I could, I wouldn't have gone to Forge! Besides payment, I was disappointed by the services provided. I had virtual appointments with my therapist and every session, I could see in their glasses that they were not paying attention to me. They would be checking emails or different tabs frequently and seemed unfocused when I was speaking. After two sessions of this obvious pattern, I felt unimportant and uninterested in continuing sessions. I'm not expecting my therapist to never be distracted or have to check emails, but just not every session, throughout nearly the full hour... That's just ridiculous and hurtful. Even if this had not occurred, it did not seem the therapist was equipped to handle my presenting problems. They suggested a few strategies that I knew did not work for me because I had tried them in the past multiple times to no avail. I told them this (IN THE VERY FIRST SESSION), but they still pushed me to watch videoes about these topics. I repeated what I had said before but they wanted me to try it again with them. I couldn't stop them and I thought, maybe they do things differently, but no. It was the same strategies that did nothing for me in the past or now. I just zoned out for a few minutes as I was so annoyed that they blatantly ignored what I said and still tried to push their own agenda. Of course, all therapists have their own style, but when a client specifically says they do not respond well or are uninterested in a certain modality, please listen! If the therapist thought that they didn't want to/couldn't work within another therapeutic lens, then I would have been fine with switching. If they explained why they used this style and had good arguments, I would have given it more of a chance! However, in the end, I had to leave because it felt like my problems were not being taken seriously and did not matter to the therapist. ALL of this to say: just contact me about payment and we'll resolve it ASAP! I shouldn't be sent to collections to decimate my credit because you won't respond to my repeated calls and emails! I want to be completely done with this company!! I came to Forge for real help, and now I'm left feeling like I'm worse off than before. It's extremely sad and disappointing.
I cannot express enough how pleased I am with the first 3 months I spent with Forge. Brianne, Nico, Drew, and Renee make an excellent team at the Doylestown office. I would not have been able to finish my doctorate and… begin my professional career without their insight during group and individual sessions. If you are struggling, I cannot recommend this group enough to guide your thought the most difficult times of your life. They literally saved my life in more ways than one. They all make sustainability possible outside of therapy as well and the carry over of therapy is great when you buy into the ideas you and the therapists come up with throughout the sessions. Beyond thankful for these wonderful people and I can't imagine where I'd be if I had stuck with the previous therapists I've seen in the past. Thank you Forge!
Mathew, Nico and Kim have really helped me with my behavioral control and my life is getting back on track.
Kimberlie Taylor my psychiatrist is absolutely awesome!! She is kind 😇 understanding and extremely helpful. I appreciate her so much with out her in wouldn't be able to function in life Thank u Kimberlie Taylor and… Forge Health
This place should be shut down for discrimination. My husband was supposed to be transferred to their care starting tomorrow, but they informed his current provider that they can no longer accept him because he is… blind. It's sad to see that he can't even try and get mental health care without being discriminated against. How does him being blind exclude him from being able to receive care?
From the moment I first walked into Forge Health, I felt genuinely welcomed—and that’s largely thanks to the incredible staff. In a setting where people may arrive feeling anxious, vulnerable, or unsure, the kindness… and professionalism from the staff set the tone for everything else. Each time I’ve come in, I’ve been greeted with a warm smile and respectful, efficient service. They remember names, make eye contact, and treat every individual with compassion and dignity. Whether I had questions about scheduling, insurance, or just needed reassurance about a first appointment, the staff was patient and helpful every step of the way. Mental health and substance abuse recovery can be a difficult road, but it truly makes a difference when the very first people you see are supportive and nonjudgmental. The team here makes you feel seen and valued. I’m deeply grateful for the care and humanity they show daily. Thank you for being such an important part of the healing journey.
I did not have to wait long to get services from here which was a huge relief. My psychiatrist really listens to me and validates how I feel. She is also very knowledgeable.
Forge health got me in far faster than anywhere else I had contacted and I am so glad they did. I was happy to see they work with first responders as there are different challenges that come with that line of work. On… top of that, Kim has been such an amazing provider. I’ve had a lot of visits at other practices where the prescriber has no clue who I am or what medications I’m on, but Kim always knows exactly what is going on and I do not feel like another number. She has worked with me to find a good balance in my treatment and is incredibly knowledgeable in how to adjust/pivot when things change. I cannot recommend this practice enough. They are highly responsive, send out reminders about appointments frequently (which is great being night shift and never knowing what day it is), and have been incredibly flexible with scheduling.
The therapists and psychiatrists are really good and caring. The Communication with the front desk could be a little better but overall the organization is great.
Forge Health has been a game-changer in my mental health journey. From the very first appointment I felt heard and understood. The providers take the time to truly get to know you—your history, challenges, and goals—so… they can create a treatment plan that’s tailored to your needs. The medication management process has been seamless. They offer ongoing support, carefully monitoring effectiveness and adjusting prescriptions when necessary. I’ve never felt like just another patient; they genuinely care about my progress and well-being. The telehealth option has also been a game-changer for me. As someone who works full time, having the flexibility of virtual appointments has made it so much easier to stay consistent with my care. If you’re searching for compassionate, high-quality mental health care, I highly recommend Forge Health. They make mental health services accessible, effective, and truly patient-centered.
Thrilled to find such a helpful and caring practice that also takes my insurance! From the first phone call, it has been a pleasant experience. Each person has been responsive to me, my insurance, my pharmacist, etc.… Super thankful for the support!
