Serenity Behavioral Health – Havertown Detox and Rehab Services

The register shows Serenity Behavioral Health – Havertown providing intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

The record shows integrated treatment rather than one problem then the other. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Bess, Jonathan, Ashley, Natalie, and Lauren are the BEST therapists I’ve ever worked with. Brenna at the front desk is equally amazing. They give you all the tools you need to succeed in recovery or with mental health… issues including individual therapy sessions and a psychiatrist as well as family therapy sessions. The therapists are truly top notch. They remember you and your story every week, they truly care. When the group goes quiet, as it does from time to time, the therapists are so amazing at getting the ball rolling again, giving supportive feedback and engaging the group. They are very skilled at what they do. Serenity is one of very few IOPs in the area that is fully covered by Medicaid, which speaks to the way they are willing to and want to help everyone. I am so lucky to have found this program. The young adult group is a wide variety of people struggling with mental health issues and addiction and I was able to personally relate to lots of them in a space that felt safe and supportive for what I was going through. They even started a mini food bank within the office around the holidays for group members who were struggling financially. Serenity helped me stay accountable even when I didn’t want to and I left with a stronger sense of confidence and stability. If you are looking to start your journey into sobriety or struggling with mental health issues, I highly recommend this program.

The staff here are wonderful and the space is so welcoming. I love that they only work with teens and young adults and truly specialize in working with that population. They're not one of those big corporate/VC backed… programs. The owner was even available to speak with on a daily basis and the care provided was very personalized and effective. Highly recommend this IOP program.

Francesca, Kaitlyn, Jonathan, Lauren, and the rest of the team are top knotch. This IOP is hands down the very best of Delaware county. They are caring, compassionate, and really take a hands on approach to healing the… entire family unit. Highly recommend!

Serenity was very helpful for my mental health it was a very safe place for me to go and talk and get feedback to better my life

Serenity IOP seemed like a good choice for my child after being referred to the program. The staff was friendly, communicated effectively and compassionate. My main concern was when I observed the teens on their break.… Most were smoking/vaping etc right outside the building. If the treatment program is for mental health and substance abuse there should be a zero tolerance policy for smoking and vaping while at therapy.

Kaitlin and Franchesca have helped me so much over the last few months. I would absolutely recommend Serenity to anyone who needs help with their mental health. The IOP group offers lots of support from peers and… individual therapy has helped me to make serious changes to my behavior that have improved my life dramatically.

Serenity offers a comfortable therapeutic space to connect, get support and make positive changes. The passion, dedication and support of the staff and the calming feeling the space offers, truly makes this place… serene. When Francesca asked me to create the space for Serenity, I drew from my own experience. My desire for this type of atmosphere and support stemmed from a challenging time in my own family. My child was struggling and our family was not equipped or prepared to deal with it. Getting the support changed the course of our combative path and led to the healthy relationships we now enjoy. I encourage you to reach out for the support and serenity you deserve during this trying time. I wish you a happy, joyous and freeing journey. Antonella
