This must be on impractical jokers right? Where's the camera's. No way a psychiatric clinic is open to the public for the treatment of the most vulnerable population there is, is operating at such low standards. The… front desk staff in was super rude and unprofessional. If looking down at others is what you were looking for in a career, you found your place. My appointment was confirmed 👌 by message twice, when I arrived I was informed I didn't have an appointment in the office with a doctor but an hour ago by telehealth. I had already paid online for my office visit and checked in online and done all the paperwork. I informed the front desk staff I would not be continuing with this clinic anymore. They made me another appointment anyway and left a message on my voicemail and I've not been able to reach them by phone for days. Now I have to go there to let them know again I will not be requiring their services and get my $20 office visit fee returned. I'm sure they will have a reason to keep it, I'm sure 😃.
They do not pick up their calls. I called this place to find a psychiatrist but was unsure if my insurance would cover it. Called many times no one answered the call. When I got to my appointment the lady in the front… then told me my insurance wasn’t covered. I complained that I drove half an hour to be told my insurance didn’t accept when I complained to her that I tried calling many times no one answered, she looked like she didn’t care! Tamarac location. Not professional!
I applied for a clinical trial here. It's a bit tldr. But I do have proof of what I'm saying. I have had medication/ treatment/ residential institution resistant ptsd and anxiety since 2004. I was called by this place… and was told I needed to immediately stop taking my medications for 7 days to be accepted into the trial. I was called 7 days later to confirm I stopped all of my medications. I said that i did. But, it caused me to have a mental health issue. That week was not easy, but I endured it because I believed I needed to do it to finally have the treatment that might give me a normal life. Yesterday, I was informed (by, Alexis 86x8601x60) that the person who told me to stop my medication was not legally allowed to give medical treatment/advice, I should not have been told to stop my medication and I'm no longer eligible for the trial. Why would this place instruct their employees to tell people with severe mental health struggles to stop their medications? I now have to pay out of pocket for multiple appointments to get back on my medication and fix the mental and physical medical issues this has caused me. My blood pressure has been extremely high since stopping the medications. But i don't feel comfortable going to any doctor now. How do i trust any doctor after this? any progress I've made In the past few years with trusting people and places outside of my direct home base has been undone. I was doing better before this office entered my life. I'm terrified that I am about to go back to never leaving my house again because of this. Don't trust this place.
This clinic is fantastic, I haven’t looked up rating in awhile. I don’t understand what prompted such negativity towards compass. I was with Henderson prior an felt like I was running in circles without progress towards… stability. Compass has done so much for my wellbeing, they withhold such devotion to the getting the patients from my experience to clear mindset an calm & collected. Thanks Compass health, tele appointment is so convenient, and Doctors are not curing ya necessarily which I understand, an thank ya for the advise an prescriptions to better myself haha. :D Take care and best of luck guys. Edit: clinic has taken an awful dip, can't contact for assist without speaking* to a robot.. an psychiatrist with the audacity to claim others are crazy.
Prime example why psych services suck in this country. They are totally unapologetic and uncaring, even to another medical professional. In 20yrs, the amount of times they haven't gotten e-scripts to the pharmacy,… making me go ridiculous amounts of time with meds is egregious. They argue about sending over e-scripts even when pharmacy says they never received anything. You can never get thru to anyone one. Their phone system takes your phone number and tells you a rep will call back, but nobody ever does. Not even health insurance can get thru to them. Humana Behavioural Health Advocate told me Compass hung up on her twice. Shameful. Why does CMS and AHCA allow them to stay in practice?
Good luck trying to get these people on the phone or to reply on the patient portal. No sense of urgency or care for their patients.
DONT GO HERE!! My mom speaks with the doctors over the phone. They are on the phone for no joke 30 seconds-1 minute. Then, for the last 2 phone calls THEY DONT SEND ALL OF HER MEDICATIONS?? Genuinely a scam place.… Should be shut down.
Dr Sohban is the best. Thank you
Sick people
This place sucks! They will schedule you for an appointment and not call you for 2 months or so. This is patient abandonment and I swear to god it has gotta be illegal……
I wish I would have read the reviews. My husband was referred by the hospital after he was discharged. I set up the appointment for 8am. I got email saying arrive 30 minutes early, which we did. Nooone was there 8 am i… knock on the door no answer. 815 am knock on the door no answer. I called the number and got a rude agent who told me my appointment was at 9am when i said i have confirmation for 8 am i was told no the appointment was at 9 and i made a mistake.
Another day of being on hold for over an hour. This isn’t new, it’s everytime. My son was supposed to get an academic accommodation weeks ago but the admin can care less. I’m about over this place. Nobody cares
Impossible to reach for appointments or cancellations. I am changing providers.
I STRONGLY URGE anyone considering this office to STAY AWAY. I scheduled an IN PERSON appointment well in advance. The night before my appointment, without any notice or consent, they switched it to TELEHEALTH. No one… informed me that my insurance does not cover telehealth visits. Because of their failure to communicate, I was forced to pay the FULL COST completely out of pocket. To make matters worse, the appointment was not even with the doctor I originally scheduled. They assigned me to a different doctor without informing me or getting me INVOLVED in that decision. Trying to reach this office is an absolute nightmare. I have spent HOURS on hold, sometimes up to FIVE HOURS, just trying to speak to someone. Getting basic information or assistance feels nearly impossible. This level of disorganization, lack of transparency, and complete disregard for patients is UNACCEPTABLE. Please do yourself and your loved ones a favor and STAY FAR AWAY from this office.
HORRID EXPERIENCE!!!! The psychiatrist Santiago Castaneda Ramírez did a terrible job with me. His instructions have made my depression and anxiety much worse; he seems completely clueless. However, I didn't want to… continue having appointments with him, and even though I repeatedly replied "NO" to the message to cancel, he still called me, and I answered to say I didn't want the appointment. To my great surprise, they called me to say the payment hadn't been processed correctly and asked for another card. Excuse me? What payment? I DIDN'T WANT THE APPOINTMENT AND I CANCELED IT. The worst part is that the story doesn't end there. Today, an automated operator called me to say I have an appointment with him on February 2nd and that if I want to cancel, I should call a specific number. They said if I don't cancel 24 hours in advance, they'll charge me an extra fee. I called the number, and I've been waiting for over 20 minutes to get through. What kind of fraudulent clinic is this? I'm truly amazed at how much harm they've done to me and how they're still going on.
Disgraceful!! Absolulutley horrible! No one answers.. EVER! they're the worst! Listening to this obnoxious recording for an hour!! Can't get anyone to answer... GOOD LUCK if you decide to use these pathetic… unprofessional incompetent careless and useless office
For me, they are the best I've ever had, especially Mónica. She gives patients exceptional care, and that's exactly what we need from doctors. 👍
I originally called to see if I could get my child tested for autism. I called to confirm this is a service they can provide. The rep confirmed they do autism testing so I made an appointment. Once I got there, the… doctor informed me that they don't do autism testing there but they'll help me get in touch with a doctor that can. They never got back to me. Then they set my child to up for biweekly therapy visits without my consent. Evetime, I canceled the visit, via text alert, they would just reschedule my appointment. The one time they answered my call, the rep on the phone confirmed they would not reach out to me again. I few days later, and I got another text saying when my child's next visit is. I called as soon as they opened up, was on hold for 30mins, and they disconnected the call. I've called back 4 times after that, and they just keep disconnecting my call. This is absolutely ridiculous that I have to miss work to physically go down there to cancel my appointment that I never setup in the first place.
Absolutely unacceptable and dangerous level of care. I had a telehealth psychiatric appointment scheduled for 10:30 AM today for my elderly mother, and the provider never showed up. No call. No message. Nothing. What… followed was even worse. Every time you call this practice, it takes over an hour to reach a human being — if you reach anyone at all. After waiting more than an hour on the phone, someone finally answered, only to hang up on me. I was never able to reach an office manager, supervisor, or anyone in charge. This is a psychiatric practice dealing with vulnerable patients, yet there is zero accountability, zero communication, and zero concern for patient care. Missed appointments, endless hold times, and being disconnected when you finally get through is not just unprofessional — it is irresponsible. DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE — EVEN AS A LAST RESORT. If you care about your loved one’s mental health, look elsewhere.
Staff was very good helpful thank you very nice
They corrected any issues and answered all my questions.
Dr. Joel dey does an amazing job. Ty Compass health
I haven't even been able to get a hold of anyone. Its been four days of non stop calling. I also leave my number for the call back. I get the call back and immediately they hand up. I am referred for CBT and this is… making my anxiety worse. Why would someone referr me here? I'm calling my doctor back. This is terrible yall need to close down. More to come from me.
I've been treated at the clinic for a long time and have always received excellent care; they've helped me achieve a better quality of life. Thank you so much.
Compass was recommended to me & has helped me so much! I work during the day & attend college at night, so to be able to get my meds & talk to my therapist via phone is amazing. If I had known it was this easy, I… would've started therapy years ago. Kudos, Compass Health! Thank you.
Helped me so much. They have a bad reputation but the recent doctor changed my life
I've had nothing but a very positive experience with Compass Health!! They treat me with respect and always make sure I'm feeling good!! It's convenient for me because I'm disabled, so being able to have the option of… tele-med appointments has been a true blessing!! 👍🏼 I definitely would recommend Compass🧭 ☺️
Dr. Soban is a knowledgeable and caring physician. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a intelligent and caring physician.
