Beacon Center – Utica Detox and Rehab Services
What Beacon Center – Utica offers, on record, is intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.
The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Beacon Center – Utica Address, Location and Contact Information
Records give the address as 1508 Genesee Street, Utica, New York, 13502. The city lies within Oneida County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. Journey time and parking are not trivial details when treatment runs several times a week over months.
A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. Remote appointments may be possible where travel is a barrier. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

Beacon Center – Utica Reviews and Ratings
Reviews of Beacon Center come from patients, family members and professionals who refer to the facility, and from sources around the web.
Each one reflects a single experience. Reading several, alongside the licensing detail on this page, gives a more balanced view.
Receptionist is the nicest one there but she's not great at her job at all. The rest of the staff has no experience that justifies their positions. Constant HIPAA violations and lack of privacy. Medical decisions are… made based on feelings and attitudes instead of actually medical facts. The head nurse has barely had a degree for 4 years and had no relevant experience before being hired. How you come from a 20 year career at a pizza place to leading a medical clinic is beyond me. If they paid enough then maybe they would have adequate staff. Staff has told me they have to maintain multiple jobs to survive. At the very least, they need a large overhaul of staff and practices or they will be left behind and hopefully the state will come shut it down so something new can come in it's place.
I had a great experience at Beacon Center. The staff was professional, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. They took the time to answer all my questions and made everything easy to… understand. The service was efficient, and I felt valued as a client from start to finish. The facility was clean, organized, and well-maintained. I highly recommend Beacon Center to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality service.
Doesn’t know how to answer the phone, terrible customer service. What’s the point of scheduling someone if you ignore there calls? Feel like that pretty important factor esp if your suppose to treat substance use… disorder.
Flexible treatment options, but the receptionist never has any information. Shes getting better, but i feel like they dont train properly. I heard a few employees talkjng bad on a client as well. But they really were… there for me when i needed help. Can connect with resources if you're patient with the process.
The staff is so helpful and friendly.
No one ever returns your calls. They don’t tell you when they cancel your appointments. If they cancel your appointments without you knowing, they fail to reschedule you. You end up waiting for your provider to call and… they never end up calling. It’s bad.
If I could give no stars I would. Doctor's never call at the appointed time and want to put you down for a no show which leaves you waiting and waiting for that call which results in you missing your medication. I've… dealt with this for the past year thankfully I found another place to go to.
Horrible place.
Awesome place to go to to get help for opiate addiction, they completely changed my life and got me back on track to a normal opiate free life
This place is a joke and they don't care about their clients!
