I was gladly surprised by the amazing help I received from Ewa Magnowski the chief deputy clerk at Maine Township. She was very polite, professional and very knowledgeable.
Do t go there at all this place is a joke. I applied back in December Austin said I was approve for all this help rent and. Utilities only to find out they didn’t due process or their job. Nothing was paid found out 4… months later…. then had the nerves to tell me I have to re full everything out and start all over again. Catholic charities actually helped quickly not four months later….and refill what you submitted

Couple of weeks ago I visited the Maine township office to see Deputy Assessor Ms.Debra Babich in connection with the filing of senior exemption. She has been extremely helpful and courteous. She helped me in preparing… all the documentation and explained at great length for all the savings I can make in applying for the missing years. The department should be proud of her. Thanks a lot Ms.Debra.
Today was my first experience with the Maine Township office since moving to Des Plaines 2 years ago and their assistance couldn't have been better. I Initially called the assessors dept. regarding the senior property… tax exemption and spoke to Sam who was extremely helpful and courteous. I went to the office later that day and Liz assisted me with filing. Actually, she did the work and also helped me straighten out another issue with the lot numbers. She was a pleasure to work with and I couldn't be happier. Thank you all.
Very confusing , is that a government office or no profit organization, they very rude hi mean resist, it's like you call someone home on the middle of the night, they very rude and always get descrminated.
Was there for passport application. They accept walk ins too.
