About AOD Services Morisset (formerly William Booth House)
AOD Services Morisset, formerly William Booth House, is a 27-bed Salvation Army residential treatment programme at Morisset on the New South Wales Central Coast. Adults over eighteen of any gender are accepted, and the stay runs twelve to sixteen weeks around a thirteen-week group programme called Foundations.
Individual assessment and case management sit alongside the group work, with spirituality modules and chaplaincy available to anyone who wants them. Participants who finish the programme can apply for aftercare and for transitional housing run by the same service. The Surry Hills rehabilitation programme has relocated to Morisset while its own building is renovated, so the site currently carries both. Enquiries go to (02) 4355 8002.

AOD Services Morisset (formerly William Booth House) Alcohol and Drug Services
AOD Services Morisset provides residential rehabilitation of twelve to sixteen weeks, followed by aftercare and transitional housing for those who complete it. The core of the stay is the thirteen-week Foundations group programme, supported by individual assessment, case management and optional spirituality modules delivered by The Salvation Army.
Chaplaincy and a chapel service are listed among the support available on site, reflecting the operator’s faith base, though participation is described as something participants can take up rather than a requirement. Medically supervised withdrawal is not listed at Morisset, so anyone who needs detoxification first should ask where that happens. Named medications, therapies beyond group work and case management, and the substances treated are not set out publicly.

Where Is AOD Services Morisset (formerly William Booth House)?
AOD Services Morisset sits at 81 Russell Rd, Morisset, New South Wales, postcode 2264, on the southern edge of Lake Macquarie between Sydney and Newcastle. The site is a standalone residential treatment centre rather than part of a hospital.
Opening hours are not listed for the Morisset site. Admissions and general enquiries go through (02) 4355 8002, and The Salvation Army publishes its New South Wales alcohol and other drug services at https://www.salvationarmy.org.au/services-and-support/alcohol-and-other-drugs/find-a-service-in/new-south-wales/. Because the Surry Hills programme has temporarily relocated here, availability shifts, so confirm intake arrangements and the right entrance before travelling.

How Much Does Treatment at AOD Services Morisset (formerly William Booth House) Cost?
Published prices for AOD Services Morisset weren’t found. Residential rehabilitation of this kind in New South Wales typically runs A$10,000 to A$30,000 a month, which gives a rough frame rather than a quote for this programme, and The Salvation Army sets its own arrangements for the twelve to sixteen week stay.
Contact AOD Services Morisset on (02) 4355 8002 for pricing tailored to your needs, including whether any fee applies at the aftercare stage. The transitional housing that follows the programme is a housing arrangement rather than a treatment product, so ask about it separately. Private health insurance, Medicare rebates, NDIS and WorkCover are not listed for this service, and no government funding is stated for it either.

AOD Services Morisset (formerly William Booth House) Reviews
Reviews of AOD Services Morisset from around the web are limited, and what exists is split between this name and the former William Booth House, which makes a clear picture harder to assemble. RehabSeekers hosts reviews for the programme, and anyone who has stayed at Morisset is welcome to share their experience.
Comment posted online about The Salvation Army’s alcohol and other drug work tends to describe the organisation broadly rather than this Central Coast site. An account of the Foundations group programme, the case management and how the aftercare and transitional housing stages worked in practice would be far more useful to someone deciding whether to apply.
