About Casa Pacifica – Camarillo
Casa Pacifica operates a residential youth mental health program on its campus at 1728 South Lewis Road in Camarillo, in Ventura County, California. The nonprofit runs children’s and family services across Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. The organisation dates back to 1988. The site is licensed for 10 beds.
The campus program is a short-term residential therapeutic setting for female, transgender and nonbinary youth aged 12 to 17 whose emotional needs are too acute for a foster home. A multidisciplinary team works within a trauma-informed model, and an on-campus clinic handles psychiatric care. Casa Pacifica was incorporated as a nonprofit in 1988.

Treatment Services at Casa Pacifica
Young people in the Camarillo residential program receive individual and group clinical services in a 24-hour therapeutic environment. Psychiatric providers oversee medication management through the licensed health clinic on campus, and stays typically run between nine and twelve months. Admission works like this: Referrals come from county child welfare agencies, county probation and post-adoption services. After admission the Child and Family Team decides school enrollment, and youth move through five STEPS phases from orientation to graduation.
The program moves residents through five phases, starting with orientation and building toward leadership and transition planning. Therapeutic recreation forms part of daily life, and schooling combines small-group classes off campus with remote learning support. Admission begins with a pre-admission review of clinical and coverage information to decide whether the program is a good fit.

How Much Does Treatment at Casa Pacifica Cost?
Out-of-pocket residential care in California tends to cost between $6,000 and $45,000 a month. Casa Pacifica’s charges for its Camarillo program did not appear on its website at the time it was checked, which means these statewide amounts are only a reference point and not a quote from the organization.
Residential care here would likely bundle the intake assessment, group therapy, individual counseling, plus housing and meals. CBT, EMDR and other specialized therapies, along with medication and lab tests, might be billed as extras or might not be part of the program. This is an assumption, not a statement from Casa Pacifica, so call the admissions team and have them set out what is not covered that fits your circumstances. Recorded payment sources are Medi-Cal and county funding.

Casa Pacifica Reviews
Choosing a teen residential campus for adolescents is a decision made with far less information than it deserves. An account from inside Casa Pacifica is more use to the next reader than anything written about it. The listing offers a typical stay of typically 9 to 12 months, and whether that held up in practice is worth saying.
This page takes reviews from parents and guardians, former residents and school staff, social workers and probation officers. Worth covering: what the daily routine involved, how medication was handled on discharge, and whether mental health needs were treated alongside substance use. Plain language is better than a careful summary.
