Don't know how to do their jobs.
These people have ZERO cares when it comes to a Veteran. They have lost my blood draws 3 times. I have really good veins and they bruise and blow them out every time
Great place and service for veterans.
Great for vets.
Great sign in process. Quiet and Clean
Cannot recommend it. I am sorry for Mr. Jimmy, who is the best I have met there. Many appointments are video or phone, not in person. Complaints are not resolved, ethics are violated. I am glad I am a person of faith!… God has kept me safe in spite of uncaring and unprofessional treatment at this clinic.
I have visited this clinic since 2014, rhe Dr's and staff are yop notch. I feel at home with the familiar faces and great hospitality, I'm treated with respect and rely on this office as my PCP, best VA in the south.
Do not come here. One of the most callous, cruel, and unfeeling places to be. These people lack compassion for the veterans who have broken their backs for this country and feel like they don’t even owe them kindness.… The people here need to either find new careers or someone needs to come in to set them straight. I honestly wish all of them would be terminated. As a matter of fact just shut the whole place down. It’s ridiculous that kindness isn’t free anymore. No one cares about mental health unless it’s TIME to care. I’m genuinely disgusted.
Is the worst VA Clinic I’ve ever been too.
HORRIBLE! Been coming here for 2 years and not once has it been an easy experience. Every injury I have had I’ve had to bend over backwards & call NUMEROUS amounts of time just to get any information or to be scheduled.… Every time I call they say “we will leave a message” for my primary physician (Dr.Ezeudu in specific). For example right now I have been waiting 34 days to get any information on my injury. I’m on crutches with pain & unable to walk with no information of how long to stay on them, when I will be seen, or what to expect. So I finally got in touch with someone today because I missed a veteran affairs phone call yesterday (no voicemail no message as usual) called and they had no idea why. So I called community care to find out that they have approved my referral for an orthopedic 2 weeks ago (injury happened 2weeks before that) and nobody has notified me or sent the referral for me to be seen. This is one incident amongst many with this clinic. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRANSFERRING TO ANOTHER FACILITY!
Donna the nurse was very pleasant and friendly and most importantly a caring person. It was a fantastic visit with her and her spirit and her love of Jesus. God bless her each day with a happy spirit. Thanks for the… good visit.
They do not care about the veterans they are supposed to be serving at all. Total mess.
Very caring and thorough service by all.
Waste of time even trying to get care here. If possible use Ft. Novosel. Dothan employees are rude and don’t care about veterans. They say it’s because they are understaffed but you walk in and see the front office… workers all doing nothing but being disrespectful to other battles in the office.
DOTHAN ALABAMA DO NOT CARE ABOUT ITS VETERANS THAT LIVE THERE! I would expect cilivans to mistreat me b/c they dont know what we go thru or went thru while serving our country plus when we return home/get out. But this… VA clinic is the worst, I mean bottom of the worst! They give the VA system itself a bad name & bad taste in your mouth! I have been down here on a long vacation since June & not once have I been able to get in. Today I tried to go for a walk-in emergency & was told that the walk in nurses are gone for the day & I can go to the local er! The closest VA hospital is what 2 hours away & I was in to much pain to make the drive so I went to Flowers Hospital ER! You call the va clinic the phone just rings, then they rude when they answer like you are bothering them. The staff seems to only care about themselves & a check! This is not VA standards at all & I have been to plenty as a veteran! Everyone needs to be fired & a complete overhaul needs to be established with Veteran only staff who understand another veteran! Because you are up the creek if you dont get up there asap when they open! It was 4 pm & they close at 5 but dont no one was is available for walk-ins veterans. They dont even have a pharmacy to do scripts if you end up going to the local er. This ridiculous & veterans do not deserve to be treated this way by our ppl!!!! All of the local urgent care places close during office hours as like ppl only hurt or get sick during business hours. Your only choice is to get authorization to go one of the hospitals or make that long drive if you can the VA! They dont even deserve 1star😠😠😠👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
Nurse , Tonya George was Less than professional n very rude n Argumentative!! The VA care I’ve received previously is better than this. I didn’t get no help n still ,more that a year n a half later, still no glucose… machine ! 4 years after having pancreatic cancer surgery! Will someone please help me!! Please!
Dr. Masood, Masoo, whatever his name is, is a PRICK. He doesn't care about your mental health and will hang up on you in the middle of your conversation. He shouldn't be in this field of work. His assistant Anita is a… sweetheart and has been very helpful.
I can't even get ahold of anyone to make an appointment. It rings, rings, and rings. On my day off I've called and put my phone on speaker phone and had it sitting next to me for 2 continuous hours and have yet to get… ahold of anyone. I've tried doing the secure messaging to make an appointment and apparently nobody reads the messages because I have yet to receive a message/call back. My next course of action is contacting Congressman Barry Moore's office to have them investigate why they aren't providing medical care to the veterans that have served this nation.
Wish I could tell you about the doctor's here but I cannot even get to see one. Had an appointment made for a pretty serious issue, more than a month out, and they cancelled it. No call, no message. Just cancelled and… now they will not even answer the phone. This place seems to be right in line with general veteran treatment. Use us up and throw us away
My husband uses this clinic and it has been great. The employees are always nice and friendly and very helpful! Thanks for excellent care.
Parking is a little tight, but if you take your time, it is negotiable. This is a very clean and well-kept facility, though it is well aged and desperately needs upgrade and remodeling. This facility is managed very… well. The staff is friendly, professional, and always willing to always help veterans with their needs.
Why is this VA facility closed at 4:30 pm when it's supposed to be open until 5pm? I know it's not for paperwork because they're already gone. This must be government waste. You say thank you for your service. But,at… 4:30, it feels like f... You!
Just when I thought no clinic could be worse than DC, I end up here. Primary care is a joke. The providers change more than I change underwear. They cancel rx without even telling you, order bloodwork then cancel the… follow on appt to discuss it, make appointments months out only to cancel them, never answer the phone, everything routes through Montgomery. At this point I may as well drive to Montgomery for care and claim mileage.
The majority of the staff are doing the best they can with the limited resources available to them. Some are downright rude, specifically the security personnel. Their main concern is making sure you've got a mask on,… I'm sure their parents are proud of the way they speak to elderly patients that were way more badass than they could ever hope to be.
Absolutely the worst VA clinic I have been seen at.
