About Fondation du Levant – Lausanne
Fondation du Levant is a non-profit foundation in Lausanne working across addiction treatment, psychiatry, housing and employment integration. Its main site on Chemin du Levant, to the east of the city, describes itself as a place to live, a therapeutic space and a route to integration, and its ambulatory consultation service, CAP, provides outpatient counselling and consultations both on site and remotely.
Residential care is delivered through several therapeutic units, Housing First apartments support people to live independently, and a home-support service, SAMSA, provides specialised assistance in people’s own homes. Alongside treatment, the foundation offers vocational and social reintegration support, and first contact is made through the CAP service by telephone or email rather than a direct referral pathway.

Fondation du Levant Detox and Rehab Services
Fondation du Levant is recorded as offering both outpatient and residential addiction support. Outpatient counselling and consultations run through its CAP centre, on site and remotely, while residential care is delivered through several therapeutic units, alongside Housing First apartments for independent living and a home-based support service, SAMSA.
Addiction counselling is recorded, delivered alongside housing and employment integration support as part of a broader route toward reintegration. The foundation doesn’t publish further detail on specific therapy types, so it’s worth asking directly what a given residential unit or the CAP outpatient service actually involves.

How Much Does Treatment at Fondation du Levant Cost?
For the levels of care Fondation du Levant offers, general estimates for the Lausanne area run from around CHF1,300–CHF4,400 (£1,200–£4,000) for outpatient support up to CHF11,000–CHF33,000 (£10,000–£30,000) for residential care. These figures are area estimates rather than the foundation’s own published rates, and as a non-profit combining housing, employment and treatment support, actual costs may differ substantially from a standard private residential programme.
Contact the foundation’s CAP service directly for its actual fees or funding arrangements, and ask specifically what’s included — for example whether housing and integration support are costed separately from clinical care.

Fondation du Levant Reviews
Anyone who has lived at or used services from Fondation du Levant — whether directly or as a family member supporting someone — is welcome to share what their experience was like.
Beyond reviews, it’s worth asking how the foundation coordinates its different sites (residential units, Housing First apartments and outpatient CAP support) and what a typical route through the organisation looks like, since it operates across several types of provision rather than a single treatment setting.
The rooms are great, the complex too, and you learn to discover new substances with your colleagues. I like it. Apart from the younger instructor who makes it very clear that you're not as good as everyone else, it's… good.
An institution where people take care of themselves—there can be people of all ages, from 30 to 45 to 60—they have different approaches to your treatment, including tablet apps to help you take your medication… regularly. They can be intrusive at times, but everything always works out because they're there to help, not to spy on us. It was difficult for me at first, but you have to understand one thing: to get to know someone, to build trust, there needs to be a set of rules. You have to accept the help they give you, which was the hardest part for me the first week. Now it's been a month since I've been at Le Vallon, and I'm doing well.
Worst foundation in the world, never go there! They're useless except for making you sink even further. They're only good for collecting money and making you believe they're helping you, but in fact, they just let you… sink! You'll leave in a terrible state and with lasting damage.
