Gaudenzia Inc – Mechanicsburg

This is exactly where I needed to be as I seek recovery for the first time. I dis not want to leave even when I was able to graduate the program. Chelsey has helped every time I went for my individual. We have worked on… many of my problems from my addiction to my trauma n even with family. Today iam where im at thanks to gaudenzia who truly believed in me and gave me the tools I needed to continue living sober.. thanks Chelsey u have been sent from heaven....

I went here for a court ordered d&a eval under bail stipulations. The worst experience from the moment I walked in the door. I've never in my life had an addiction problem I dont even smoke bud and barely even drink.… Joy basically called me a drug dealer because of the misdemeanor charge i had for serving alcohol without a license. I wasn't even selling alcohol just serving it at a rented establishment. This place or at least Joy is rude and judgemental. She recommended I come to weekly treatment knowing damn well I had no addiction issues because she said we give drug dealers groups also it helps to make better choices. Um excuse me mam but no. Luckily I was able to get a second opinion with another place and was recommended NO Treatment. That lady was so unpleasant to deal with. And I truly believe she just wanted to make thst place some more money from my insurance for completely unnecessary group fees. If you truly want help..I suggest going to a more caring and fair place rather then these frauds taking insurance money from people that dont even need their services. Pitiful

Great outpatient program. Understanding, flexible, helpful, and caring staff. Especially Mrs. Joy. I would recommend this outpatient to anyone in need of their services.

Very impressed and surprised because there are some bad reviews when every team member I meet was extremely caring and understanding of everyone's personal situations. They really care about you getting better and will… help give you the tools and motivation to get there. I started in the intensive outpatient program which was important to my recovery in that it gave me a regular schedule and it felt good to get in that rhythm and everyone I meet in that class was respectful to each other we learned and had a good time. I recently moved out onto the regular outpatient and continue to meet new people who all share the same difficulties in life and openly share their stories and perspectives to identify our triggers and in my case: bad life traps and bad coping styles that lead to my addiction. We also are taught how to avoid the pit falls of addiction the through healthy coping mechanisms. They also started a new incentive program that awards healthy recovery based activities. Because of this program and the programs they provided me with outside of Guardenzia I was able to change my mindset and come to a place where I can finally admit to myself of my past addiction and admit to myself I cannot ever drink again and I'm grateful to them for getting me to this place where I can finally accept that.

The experience here is amazing, the staff are friendly and helped me alot threw my recovery. They definitely deserve a 5 star rating.

Awww Maneeee! I wanted to take the time to say how truly Greatful I am for admitting that I had a problem and getting the help I deserve from this Amazing place! I will say this Step in a persons journey is Not for the… Weak but I was weak at the time of my addiction until I met Rebecca and Tomye who were and are The Best Counselors Ever, that helped to give me the Strength when I didn’t have it to believe in myself and Love myself enough to shut up and Listen( tough cause I’m bullheaded). Life isn’t Rainbows and Unicorns but with Rebecca and Tomye’s Guidance it has been a Lot easier to endure. They Taught me a Foundation to stay clean throughout many years to come. I am Very Thankful to have had the chance to meet them and honestly am very thankful that life led me into there Care! Rebecca is a very caring and Loving therapist. She went above and beyond for my needs! Tomye took the time to help me on multiple occasions with my housing situation. I forever Will remember both of their service to me! I Recommend this place a 1000 %! I also am very thankful to have worked with Joy!

I was a client in Gaudenzia west shore after being inpatient in a mommy and me program. I completed there IOP and OP program.. Rebecca was my counselor. She was amazing. Her tough love approach helped me work threw some… of my deep seeded issues. She cared so much. I had an amazing experience and learned so much.

I recently graduated Gaudenzia. I got nothing but good vibes from all the employees especially Rebecca. When I asked for structure to deal with my old ways and change my life for better I got it here. Rebecca was my… counselor and she helped me out all the way. She is a great asset to Gaudenzia with how she teaches and reads clients. Remember if do don't want to help yourself it's not going to work. With that said I give 5 stars to Gaudenzia and Rebecca for helping me and everyone else they are helping. Thanks again!

I had a great experience here. Groups were beneficial and organized as they could be with Covid. Tomye, Rebecca and Joy each have their own unique ways of teaching, which I enjoyed. Works if ya work it 😉

I had a great experience at Gaudenzia! The circumstances bringing me there were not great but I am glad that I had their help! Both Rebecca and Joy are very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. They were a great support… system to me and I am truly grateful!

I had a very nice lady named joy as my counselor. The entire time she was checking up on me, making sure myself and everyone in the groups were on track and living a healthy life. She made my experience with counseling… so great that I would do it again, And I was very freaked out about it at first. The telehealth groups were great and everyone participated. I would recommend anyone needing this type of counseling to go to joy and have a chat!

Worst experience I've EVER had with ANY treatment...kept extending me for BS reasons, even though ALL my random were clean, I was working more than full time and doing TONS or positive and productive stuff with my… life..Ralph is the WORST counselor ever.

Horrible experience. Ralf (one of the counselors) kept switching up his story and lying to me just so that they could get more money from parole. The receptionist is very disorganized and won't tell you when you have a… payment due. They cancelled my appointments twice and don't expect to get seen on time. Go to mazzetti and Sullivan they are much more professional and don't lie right to your face like Ralf. He demands you take responsibility but won't take responsibility for his own mistakes..
