I had an unhelpful experience at Progress Foundation this spring. The staff were mostly kind and well-intentioned, but they weren’t qualified to treat what I was dealing with. In part it’s up to the discharging… institution for sending me there, but more importantly Progress Foundation should have checked my paperwork to make sure they could actually treat me before admitting me
The adminstration and the property manager have only got their own failed housing policies to blame for their problems. The Foundation abuses its authority and my tenant and civil rights.
The worst place ever, this place ruined my childhood they were supposed to help my mom with schizophrenia but all they did was give her bad advice. I end up being in foster care because Rita her case manager told her… she needed to put me in foster care. At the age of 15 years old I did not have nowhere to go and I end up being on the streets homeless. Now I'm proud to say I work for trillion dollar company and a business owner also building a family that I never had. As a mom I would never give up on my child and put my child in foster care where they can get abused by others because of a caseworker says that is a good idea. The biggest thing to success is to never give up... Thanks Rita for be prejudice.. That's The vibes I used to get from her...
Very broad housing and social services programs. The people I know there are good, works with new graduates of CCSF certificate programs. Pay could be better.
