Treatment Services at Renewed Hope Ranch

Residential care is the only level of care at Renewed Hope Ranch, and each girl lives on the ranch for the length of her stay. Every week she has an hour of face-to-face individual therapy and a family therapy session, along with group work several times a week led by a licensed mental health therapist.

Groups at the ranch include Positive Peer Culture, DBT skills, drug and alcohol topics, life skills and equine-assisted psychotherapy, in which girls groom, feed, lead and ride horses with a trainer while therapists observe. Classroom teaching and online credit recovery continue through the year alongside therapy.

How Much Does Treatment at Renewed Hope Ranch Cost?

For a family paying directly, residential treatment in Utah tends to cost $6,000 to $25,000 a month. The ranch’s tuition figure did not appear on its website when this listing was researched, so that Utah range is a general benchmark, not a price or quote from Renewed Hope Ranch.

The ranch calls its tuition inclusive and charges no application fee. The monthly charge would likely take in the intake assessment, group therapy, individual counseling, a bed and daily meals. Medication, lab work and approaches such as CBT or EMDR could be charged separately or might not be available. That is an expectation, not the ranch’s statement, so ask Renewed Hope Ranch what a full stay would come to for your level of care. Payment routes are self-pay tuition, a Pay It Forward scholarship and insurance, with no carriers named.

Renewed Hope Ranch Reviews

A residential program for adolescents is hard to judge from the outside, however carefully the website is written. If you have been through Renewed Hope Ranch, writing down what happened helps the next person decide. Even a short note on how the admission itself was handled gives the next reader something concrete.

Reviews can come from former residents, parents and guardians and school staff, social workers and probation officers. Most readers want to know how the living arrangements worked, whether mental health needs were treated alongside substance use and how far family were involved. Both the good and the frustrating are worth setting down.
