I received good help, and my treatment was extended in consultation so that I had a solid foundation to continue with self-help groups such as NA, CA, and AA. I have now been clean for 2.5 years and have also quit… smoking. I wouldn't let negative reviews bother me too much, because addicts who are still using or in the early stages of recovery can be very difficult and like to blame others. At Trubendorffer, there are good psychologists who can help you effectively. They can provide you with the right tools, advice, and therapies so that you can live a happy life free from addiction.
Drank too much and wanted help. They said that wasn't possible because I drank too much. True story.

During the intake, I was promised that I would have input into my own treatment. Specifically, to indicate what I do and do not like about the treatment, and what I do and do not want. This was withdrawn after the… intake, leaving me disappointed that I did not feel heard or seen. Consequently, I lost my deductible for the intake, even though I received no form of help or treatment. Regrettable.
