About Urban Recovery – Brooklyn
Urban Recovery is a residential addiction treatment center at 411 Van Brunt Street on the Red Hook waterfront in Brooklyn, part of Kings County, New York. It runs a medically supervised inpatient withdrawal unit alongside an inpatient rehabilitation program. Detox and short-term inpatient rehabilitation in one Red Hook building, with an electronics-free stay distinguishes it locally.
Adults arriving for alcohol, opioid or benzodiazepine withdrawal can stabilize on site and then move straight into a short-term residential stay without a transfer. The center states it is certified by the New York Office of Addiction Services and Supports for both services, and it is accredited by CARF for residential treatment and residential withdrawal management. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated within the same plan.

Urban Recovery Detox and Rehab Services
Withdrawal care takes place in an inpatient bed with nursing staff present around the clock. Alcohol detox is medically supervised, benzodiazepines are tapered gradually under a doctor, and people dependent on heroin, fentanyl or prescription painkillers can receive buprenorphine, Suboxone, Sublocade or Vivitrol, with doses adjusted as symptoms change.
After stabilization, clients continue in a short-term residential program that usually lasts 21 to 28 days and includes 35 hours of counseling each week, with daily groups and weekly individual sessions. Clinicians use Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Seeking Safety for trauma and PTSD. Every client has a psychiatric evaluation within the first day, and discharge planning begins at admission.

How Much Does Treatment at Urban Recovery Cost?
Paying privately for addiction care in New York generally runs $1,890 to $6,300 a week for detox and $8,000 to $40,000 a month for inpatient or residential rehab. No rates for Urban Recovery appeared on its website, so these New York figures describe typical state costs only and are neither this center’s charges nor a quote.
A stay at Urban Recovery would probably bundle the intake assessment, group therapy, individual counseling, accommodation, meals and medical monitoring during withdrawal. Specialized approaches such as DBT or EMDR, medication and lab work could carry extra charges or may be unavailable. This is our expectation rather than a statement from Urban Recovery, so call the center to ask what the price includes and what it leaves out for your situation. Recorded payment options are commercial insurance, Medicaid plans and self-pay.

Urban Recovery Reviews
Anyone weighing up a residential program wants to hear from someone who has already done it. If you have been through Urban Recovery, writing down what happened helps the next person decide. On paper it provides detox and short-term inpatient rehabilitation in one Red Hook building, with an electronics-free stay — reviews show whether it delivers.
The review form is open to former residents, parents, partners and siblings and aftercare and sober living staff. The useful ground is what the first few days of detox were like, what the daily routine involved and how medication was handled on discharge. There is no expected length and no expected verdict.
