WellBrook Recovery/Chardon – Chardon

I have significant concerns regarding the organization's philosophy and approach. The continuous emphasis on a perpetual recovery loop can make individuals feel trapped in a permanent victim identity rather than… empowering them to move forward. Additionally, the environment feels culturally unwelcoming, particularly regarding religious values. I would not send a family member here.

Tremendous all male treatment center. The alumni manager will play pickleball with you, then rub you down with NISH lotion.

Not a bad place, but playing pickleball all day and then working on my skincare routine isn’t for me.

This is a phenomenal place.

Couldn’t have asked for more from a recovery center. You’re treated as an individual and not just another number. Your needs are taken care of in a timely manor and accommodated. You cover multiple topics throughout the… week dealing with mind, body, and spirit. There is a huge alumni community that stays in touch with the house weekly and reaches out to the newcomers. I’ve met incredible people here who have changed my life for the better. I genuinely believe WellBrook saved my life.

Guys in the house were great! and outreach Ricky was very helpful! pulling me out of an unsafe situation through Iop an I ended up doing some more php at Wellbrook and I’m truly grateful! Case manager Josh was… absolutely genuine and very helpful with advice and suggestions! Amenities were very helpful! Also Lonnie and Rebekah were absolutely helpful, and Krista I have soo much love for who they are an what they represent 💪🏽BUT AS FAR AS THE CLINICAL DIRECTOR CATHRYN GOES! Constantly never shows up half the time to work and if you’re going to lead by example THEN LEAD!!! she literally told me my situation was sad and that I was homeless and would not even listen to what I had to say! BUT THEN ALLOWS PEOPLE TO RELAPSE AND COME BACK INTO THE FACILITY ON A PHP STATUS AND COME AND GO WHEN EVER THEY PLEASE THEN ALSO TRIES TO TELL ME DURING GROUP BASICALLY THAT MY OPINION WAS WRONG AND TRYING TO CONTROL WHO SHIULD AND SHOULDNT BE MY SPONSOR!!! and I know many clients that are currently there can testify as well!!! I am not the guy to cut others down!!! but I would be a liar If I didn’t say the way Cathryn operated was completely Disrespectful, rude and also minimizing others point of view on how they should think!! I have been on a mission of a program of recovery and from detox to sober living she has made it the most difficult in every situation

Wellbrook saved my life and the brothers I made I will cherish them for the rest of my life.

Wellbrook without a doubt saved my life. I came in completely hopeless. My time at the house was life changing from the staff to alumni to meeting guys at different meetings everyone had an impact on me. There’s… something special about the house. They not only care about you and love you like a family member but they truly mean it. The relationships with the brothers I’ve met in the house and the alumni that always comes back I’m truly blessed to have been apart of it and continue to be a part of it. Kathryn does an amazing job running the house Krista Josh Dora are all amazing. Ricky does an amazing job keeping the alumni together and getting guys to come back as often as they do. Being part of this house is the greatest experience I’ve been through and probably the only reason I’m here today.

Life changing experience. I have so much to thank the amazing staff here at Wellbrook for. They have helped me find the tools to live a healthy sober lifestyle. I recommend any guy struggling with addiction or… alcoholism to come here. Here you will find a community that is dedicated to sobriety and wellness. The house is very clean and comfortable and now feels like a “home away from home”. When you come to Wellbrook you become something bigger than your self and that is a tremendous thing. I checked into Wellbrook feeling like my life was over. Addiction had taken everything from me — my peace, my confidence, my relationships, my future. I didn’t know who I was anymore. Last week I left Wellbrook not only sober, but grounded, and ready for the next chapter. I gained a Brotherhood I will carry for the rest of my life. I’m now a Wellbrook alumni. ​Prosperity Haven (Now Wellbrook Recovery) saved the life of one of my loved ones and I (as well as my family) will forever be grateful for it!!! We were able to visit every week and the staff and other men staying at… the house were always so kind and welcoming to us. The house and property are so nice and well taken care of. The counseling and therapy as well as the friendships that my family member was able to find through this program was so unique and special, I truly believe it saved his life and allowed him to live a life he's really never been able to live before. He is now an alumni and still continues to participate in AA meetings and alumni events. Every week he is excited to reconnect with the men he met at the house and at alumni events since then. His experience at Prosperity Haven has allowed him to fully understand his substance abuse behaviors and how to find the right tools to handle his urges and temptations. It has saved his marriage and relationships with friends and family. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone who is seeking a place that focuses on both mental health and addiction in a supportive, welcoming environment!!

Tour the facility as an employee of another recovery facility and I must say I was thoroughly impressed with the clinical staff, Curriculum and amenities that is offered by Wellbrook tontheir clients! Their alumni… support is above and beyond as well!

I can't say enough positive things about my experience at Wellbrook. The house and the setting were absolutely beautiful. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed, understood and supported. The staff here… are more than just professionals-they're compassionate, knowledgeable and truly dedicated to helping on your path to recovery. The program is well structured. What really sets this place apart is the community. The clients I met, the staff and the alumni all made me feel like I was part of their family only wanting to see me succeed. Wellbrook Recovery was an amazing place for me to truly understand my substance abuse behaviors and how they were connected to my mental health. Wellbrook is the most incredible place you could ever imagine. I was in the absolute darkest time of my life. I didn’t want to live and thought that I was destined to die from my disease. Wellbrook and their incredible… staff helped me learn to love myself again. That I am worth it and that I am seen. I learned so much about myself and how my past traumas weren’t going to dictate my life and my chance at recovery any longer. They help you in all facets of your recovery and help heal you from the inside out. I never thought life could be this beautiful and this good. That I could ever have this kind of peace. I photographed Wellbrook's recent open house and I was blown away by the facility, it's staff members, and the intention and care that goes into their services. Many alumni shared stories of their experience in the home… and how it helped them to be where they are today. It is truly a special place I recommend looking into if you or anyone you know needs addiction recovery care.

I was absolutely blown away by the beauty and charm of this place! The alumni and staff are incredible and they truly care about their clients.

lan Robert's was horrible! He was very rube and disrespectful to poor child struggling with addiction. He made my child feel so horrible he relapsed. Please don't go here.
