Lives Lived Well Counselling Services
Counselling is the level of care at the Lives Lived Well hub in Beenleigh, backed by group therapy, peer support and relapse prevention for individuals aged 12 and over. Day and family programmes run through the Brisbane South hubs, which pair Beenleigh with the Beaudesert site.
Relapse-prevention support continuing after the main piece of work is the part worth asking about, since it often decides whether progress holds. Teenagers aged 12 to 17 and adults are both accepted. Withdrawal management and prescribed medication are not set out for Beenleigh, and no substance list is given, so the intake team is the place to check what the hub can take on.

Lives Lived Well Reviews
Reviews of the Lives Lived Well hub in Beenleigh from around the web are limited, which is usual for free alcohol and drug services run by a not-for-profit organisation. RehabSeekers hosts reviews for this Logan-area hub, and anyone who has attended counselling or a group is welcome to share their experience.
The day programme, the family programme and the relapse-prevention support are the parts least visible from outside, and an account of them would carry real weight. Parents of a teenager who has been through the service, and adults who used the groups, would both be describing something that online comment about the wider organisation never reaches.
The online group meetings were very helpful with effective strategies provided for overcoming addiction. The staff were genuinely interested in making a difference in people's lives.
Great program, lots of knowledgeable staff.
I am very satisfied on my one on one meeting with my case worker Rebecca. She is very approachable and professional and it makes me relax and happy to chat about anything that bothers me . She's a good listener and give… me good advise always that makes me feel better, lighter and happy after our session. It's a good stress release session with her always and for that I thank her and appreciate her very much.
Rebecca from lives lived well is amazing she 10000% deserves a pay rise :p. Great team and great people thanks guys
Some of the most friendly and helpful people I've come across when it comes to self awareness and improvement. Couldn’t thank them enough for all of their time and support
I honestly can’t thank my Live Life Well counsellor Rebecca enough for the support, understanding and compassion they have shown me. From the very beginning, I felt listened to without judgement, and I was given a safe… space to talk openly about things I had been struggling with. The support I received helped me understand myself, my emotions and the things I have been through in a completely different way. I was given practical tools and encouragement that I can continue using well beyond the sessions. What stood out most was the genuine care and patience. I never felt like just another person going through a program. I felt heard, respected and supported as an individual. I’m incredibly grateful for the time, effort and kindness my counsellor showed me. Live Life Well has been an important part of my journey, and I would highly recommend their counselling and support to anyone who feels like they need someone in their corner. Thank you for reminding me that it is possible to keep moving forward, even when life feels overwhelming. -Kahlianne
Really good service. Staff know their stuff.
I have had such a positive experience with LLW, at different times, over the past few years. I have found all staff to be compassionate, skilful and knowledgeable. This service (which is free) is somewhat of a life… saver! Having helped me at times where things have been trickier in life the support and understanding, that has been provided, has helped me to get closer to my goals. I’ve recently been supported by Rebecca, and her help has been wonderful. She has helped me to look at my situation through a more curious and compassionate lens- something that can be so hard when you’re trying to do things on your own. Thanks Bec and the rest of you brilliant LLW people. This service is fantastic and I’d recommend anyone struggling with drug/alcohol/mental health related things going on in their life to get in touch with LLW. It can be such a huge support when you need it!
First step to recovery is admitting you need help. the people at Lives Lived Well are supportive ,kind ,flexible & I really care about your recovery. if you don't know where to turn to here is a good first place to start
I’m writing this on behalf of a close friend who recently started seeing Counsellor Rui at Lives Lived Well. He had been struggling with alcohol, stress, and a lot of difficult emotions for a long time, and had reached… a point where he felt stuck. After only three sessions, we’ve already seen a real difference. Rui has been practical, understanding, and easy to talk to. She’s helped him recognise his triggers, manage urges, handle difficult emotions in healthier ways, and find realistic strategies to reduce harm and make better choices. My friend has said he feels more in control of his drinking, more confident in himself, and has noticed improvements in the way he communicates with others. That feeling of being back in control is something he hadn’t felt in a long time. The one-on-one counselling, together with the group program, has been incredibly helpful. Every staff member we’ve come across at Lives Lived Well has been warm, respectful, and kind. We’re genuinely grateful for the support and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for real, down-to-earth help.
Just like to thank the lives live well this program helps you put a prospective on your life building and helps by hearing what other have been through you may relate and give you help on a structural life style… everyone in the program a re good nice and will hear you out thanks again from paddy
Really good services. They are so friendly, lovely. My partner felt better. Thank Rebecca Chow so much
Amazing service! Great support! Highly recommend
Had a great experience with the service, the felixibility provided was a big help following a challenging time. A huge credit to Rebecca for being very accomodating and easy to talk to about anything and everything.… Including the challenges related to chips moderation. Quality service worth the time.
I recommend highly the help my brother has received already from staff is very commendable especially from one person Branka I can’t imagine where he would be without her help. Very compassionate person. Thank you to… the moon and back Branka.
I found it really hard to communicate with a Michia. Send me an email if you need the email threads and attachments. Just dissapointing but I'm on the right track to recovery now.
My father has been going here and trying to get off the meds, they make it hard and want him tot continue to get them, its a franchise that makes money from it. He was frustrated and has been cut off and now left to go… cold turkey. I personally went downt there from brisbane to see if i could try and understand what was going on and the women was rude and confrontational with me. I would recommend using somewhere else to get the support you need, somewhere that cares about the result.
Great services, Group meetings are a very safe and non-judgemental and friendly space. One on one meetings are so helpful and supportive. John is the best counsellor i`ve ever had.
