My experience with this program was unfortunately disappointing. While Transformations presents itself as a place of healing through spirituality, I found the environment to be overly focused on rigid Pentecostal… beliefs rather than offering genuine support or understanding for individuals in recovery. The approach felt patronizing and judgmental. Rather than being treated as a person working through pain, you’re often portrayed as someone whose struggles are the result of sin, and if you don’t fully conform to their religious view, you may be met with judgment or made to feel like an outsider. Recovery is deeply personal, and for me, the lack of emotional safety, compassion, and flexibility made it difficult to grow. Everyone’s journey is different, and this program may work for some — but it was not the supportive, non-judgmental space I was hoping for.

Ksenia and the team leads with heart and purpose. The work she’s doing through Transformations is thoughtful, well-structured, and genuinely impactful. We love supporting them. It’s great to see someone delivering real… value in this space.

Transformations Program Australia is an outstanding organisation that genuinely cares about its residents. I highly recommend this program for anyone who is struggling in life, especially those that are struggling with drug and or alcohol addiction. When I arrived at Transformations in 2023, I was struggling with addiction feeling broken, battered, and unable to see any light at the end of the tunnel. But during my time here, the incredible staff and volunteers… truly loved me back to life. They helped me see myself through God‘s eyes - as someone who is loved, Worthy and forgiven. I am a gay man who was accepted into this program. After 13 months I was told to “find a woman who likes to wear a strap-on” and when I told them that my sexuality wasn’t up for discussion I was booted from the program… and shunned by the church. I have struggled with my faith and my sexuality ever since. Transformations did more damage to me than my drug use ever did.

Great program! Initially, it was challenging to let go of my old lifestyle, how I used to do things and my old identity. I have personally graduated the program in 2015 and have never looked back. I have a great… relationship with my daughter, married to a beautiful person, have bought a house and have great relationships with good people. It has changed my life and I am forever grateful for the journey of change I have been on.

Transformations has a culture of honor and love. I’m deeply grateful for what they have done in my life and my families lives.
