About Adele House
Adele House is a residential rehabilitation centre at Bucca, inland from Coffs Harbour on the New South Wales mid-north coast, opened in 2020 and managed by the St Vincent de Paul Society NSW. The programme is for men aged over eighteen and runs between four and nine months.
Entry is currently narrow: the admissions team is accepting referrals only through the Drug Court and the MERIT programme, so a court liaison worker is usually the first point of contact rather than the man himself. Treatment is funded through New South Wales Health, and the centre describes a holistic approach covering physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing, with life skills and employment training aimed at independent living afterwards. Adele House also states that it works to be culturally safe for Aboriginal clients.

Adele House Alcohol and Drug Services
Adele House offers one level of care: long-term residential rehabilitation, listed at four to nine months, for men aged over eighteen. The programme is built around physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing rather than a single therapy, and includes life skills and employment training to support independent living after discharge.
Withdrawal management, day programmes and outpatient counselling are not listed for this site, so anyone who needs medically supervised withdrawal first should raise that at referral. Named therapies, medications and the substances treated are not set out publicly, and cultural safety for Aboriginal clients is something the centre raises itself. Ask the admissions team what the daily timetable covers and what aftercare follows the stay.

Where Is Adele House?
Adele House sits at Bucca, in the hinterland behind Coffs Harbour, New South Wales. A street number and postcode are not listed for the site, and the centre is reached through the Coffs Harbour area rather than from a marked street frontage.
Opening hours are not listed for Adele House, and because referrals arrive through the Drug Court and MERIT, first contact is usually made by a worker rather than in person. The office number is (02) 5776 0260 and details are published at https://adelehouse.org/. Confirm the exact meeting point and the day’s arrangements before travelling, as the site is rural rather than in town.

How Much Does Treatment at Adele House Cost?
Treatment at Adele House carries no cost to the client. The residential programme is funded through New South Wales Health as a government-funded service, so the stay, the programme and the support that goes with it are provided free of charge to men accepted into the centre.
No private pay rate is published for the centre, and private health insurance, Medicare rebates, NDIS or WorkCover arrangements are not listed for this service. Because referral comes through the Drug Court or MERIT, court-related paperwork is usually handled with the worker making the referral. The admissions team can set out what the centre provides and what you or a loved one should bring.

Adele House Reviews
Reviews of Adele House from around the web are limited, which is common for rural residential services that take referrals through court and diversion programmes rather than direct enquiries. RehabSeekers hosts reviews for this centre, and any man who has completed the programme at Bucca is welcome to share his experience.
What little is said publicly tends to describe the St Vincent de Paul Society’s wider work rather than this centre, which opened in 2020 and is still relatively new. A first-hand account of the four-to-nine-month programme, the employment training and how the team handled the move back to independent living would help someone weighing up a referral here.
Hi Adele... Id like to inform that one of our recovery addicts has passed. Chris sinton.. funniest bloke you will ever meet. Rest easy 'Sinno'
This would be the worst Rehab I have ever been to. Everything from management to operation of this program is bad. The only good thing I'd have to say is that they have a great facility.
