Tabula Rasa Retreat – Estremoz

⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointing experience – I would not recommend IBI Roots in Spain. I was referred to IBI Roots by Tabula Rasa Center because they were fully booked until April. I was explicitly told that the program at IBI… Roots would be roughly equivalent to the one offered at Tabula Rasa. Unfortunately, my experience was nowhere near what I had been led to expect. I have extensive personal experience with Ayahuasca and 5-MeO-DMT and have attended various retreats in Portugal, Spain, and Peru. Compared with those experiences, this retreat was by far the most disappointing. I found the program extremely disappointing, with virtually no structure, no meaningful program, and a complete lack of passion, professionalism, and genuine care. I expected a serious, well-organized retreat, but instead felt that the experience was poorly managed and that money seemed to be the main priority. I felt seriously misled by the recommendation and the promises made about the program. The reality was completely different from what I had been told, and I left feeling ripped off and deeply disappointed. At around ten times the cost of many other retreats I have attended, the value was nowhere near what I expected. When I asked whether I would receive my money back, I was told no. The 1,500 EURO deposit was not refunded to me. If you are looking for a professional, structured, and genuinely caring retreat experience, I would strongly advise you to do your research before booking with IBI Roots. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this place. For me, this was a deeply disappointing experience and absolutely not what I paid for.

I would NEVER recommend Tabula Rasa...!! Morally I feel I have to relate this experience at Tabula Rasa=A beloved person of mine went in for an addiction recovery and we where told they had a "Medical Team" (also… mentioned in the web) but only nurses are there. Like a nurse myself, we not allowed to prescribe, so when is some delicate issue or necessary intervention is needed. it is just not possible. A very precarious state was not attended properly. This is called legally "Omisión de Asistencia Médica"= Failure to assist medically. If you happen to have a look at "The Team" in the web you clearly see is no doctor..! I was nearly catching an airplane to go to pick up my boy friend because he was in a extreme worrying state, could not even be able to talk on the phone. He needed help in the nigth time, no one was there (or sleeping). he had to leave how he could calling a taxi. Also been told he could go there having as much of "stuff" he wanted, terrible advise for an addict..! Back home took a time to recover like any post-traumatic experience. Honestly...If one spends his savings and something like this happens is all a quite big deal in one´s life..!!

I got exactly what I wished for from this experience and some life lessons on top of that. The Warm staff made me feel safe from day one. I was transported to a different land and time while on this exceptionally… beautiful property.

The best ibogaine clinic you could hope for. Loving, compassionate, serious about following safety protocols. and great food!

This facility is run by passionate and dedicate staffs that are compassionate and professional. I would highly recommend individuals who are keen to seek recovery through their signature ibogaine treatment. Not much… facility has this vast amount of knowledge like them.
