The psych worker called herself lucky and did not bless me. May the truth come out. What I actually said was, "I was looking for a sticker of a fire breathing dragon for my car," and Dr Karnika Patel misconstrued it by… fabricating a lie, ending up a court case that is yet to be resolved. The problem with these behavioral health agencies is that they keep forgetting that they are working with human beings. Do some good in this world, is what I'd say.

Had to give 1 star to leave review. Needed courtesy dose here. After calling 3x with NO answer, we arrived before closing (11:30am) and the response we got: "its unlikely you will courtesy dose today we need 24 hrs… advance"--they did NOT tell our clinic, that called them this morning when they opened (8am), that bit of info. Also told us it would be better if we courtesy dose in ColoSpgs our final destination. We got animated "What that is over 300 miles away with no dose since Tuesday am with withdrawal symptoms --really that is your response." We left and they locked the doors after us @11:16..before closing time. BTW: They still wear masks and make faces at you if you disagree with their policies. If you need help DO NOT GO HERE..they DO NOT CARE. The pics is the plaza they are located in. They have 67 bad reviews for years yet still they are in business. How does AZ medical board and Flagstaff justify this still in operation. I will be writing the medical board to have THEM REVIEWED!!!

I've bin with southwest for about 10 years, specifically this location in their MAT program, the change this place has made this last year is major! The new DR. Sean is a major change from the previous DR that was there.… Sean understands not everything is black and white and actually listens to you when you tell him like hey this isn't working can we try something else's, on top of actually listening to your concerns about medication he actually cares about your recovery as much as you do, I have not had one DR. Actually try to help when I said I want to be done with MAT meds, the last DR'S would basically set you up for failure so you will have to come back and be stuck. Sean will actually help you and not abandon you through the process of getting off MAT meds.He has helped this place become more hopeful for me. You can tell he cares.... and thats the part that this clinic was missing. Southwest please hold on to this DR close. He is litterly what makes the MAT program a true recovery program.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was incredibly frustrating. I went in person to pick up paperwork and then again to drop it off, toddler in tow—which is no small task. I was genuinely excited to get an… appointment within 30 days… until they called me a day or two later to say the doctor isn’t accepting new patients. Seriously? Why was I scheduled in the first place if the doctor wasn’t taking new patients? That kind of basic information should absolutely be known by the front desk before wasting patients’ time and effort. I only needed 2–3 appointments for testing—not to establish long-term care—so it felt like a simple request that turned into unnecessary stress. I will say the front desk staff were very kind, which is the only reason they're getting a one star review. But the process behind the scenes clearly needs better communication and coordination.

I had anxiety and autism and other ailments . I had to come here twice with the lyft. The lady at the other building was a lot nicer The lady at this building is very rigid and unkind and even apologize for me holding… boundaries . She wouldn't listen to anything I said very stubborn attitude. It's important to have compassionate people in these clinics. There are people getting transferred from different places who have anxiety and need to be accommodated in a nicer manner. This lady was very hard and didn't have much emotion or empathy not healthy at all to have as a worker at a mental health clinic. I'm reluctant to even come to this place due to the way I was treated. Please do better and have more present compassionate people this unacceptable.

This clinic is by far the worst Matt clinic in the US. I've been on clinic all over US. They could care less about your state of mind, or your recovery. They go out of their way to stress you out. I can honestly say I… suffer severe PTSD from the treatment I received at Southwest Behavioral. Nothing is random at Southwest. The dosing nurse has no mental health or drug rehab training. She enjoys making your life miserable. And then she only records in the records what she chooses. 😕 No explanations, just accusations. 2 years without a problem . Then all the sudden records were changed. Management had no idea. And even retrained her, because of my grievance. My counselor knew what was happening but he wouldn't say a word. He went along with whatever she did. He should have spoken up. The provider just mimicking whatever she said. I complained and found out he had been on suspension. The state licensing agency said they are very very familiar with Southwest and had many complaints against Southwest Behavioral Services. CMS, Prescott Valley literally saved my life. They are what every Matt clinic should be. I was so stressed by Southwest Behavioral Services. I can now breathe and be treated with respect. I must travel 4 hours a day but there is simply no comparison, CMS is hands down the better clinic. The counselors there are wonderful. You want to do good. You do good because you feel good. Southwest has done in many many people seeking help. They turn away 4 or 5 people a day. They have no right treating anyone. I'm writing to Flagstaff officials and hope more people go to chamber of Commerce.

There are places that care to help you , even though walking through the doors at southwest Flagstaff you will feel judged and like no one is there to help… you!! They are there for a job not cause they understand. DO NOT GIVE UP!! Methadone will help as long as you are in it for the right reasons!!! Good Luck!!! :)

I've experienced the loss of paperwork that affected me medically in a way where I had seizures and it was the scariest 30 days of my life when they finally found my paperwork everything was in order I don't think they… do things on purpose I think they're just very busy One Bad Apple doesn't ruin the bunch there's a lot of good people there that want to help people that want help I know I'm not the easiest person to deal with but it's a kind of get what you give I think they treat you how you treat them and I've seen a lot I don't need to mention I'd like to believe we do the best we can what we have grateful for the help at Southwest behavioral health services Lori Anderson

Front desk woman was very rude with no compassion to me when I was late 5 minutes to my appointment with my psychiatrist. She was short, un helpful, and was unpleasant. I was very upset sibs this appointment was to… discuss my medication dosages because I had stopped taking the correct amount. She made me leave and said doctor would not see me. I doubt she even tried. Working in a mental health facility, you’d think the employees would be more careful about how they treat their patients! She should not be working there.

I've been here going three years now. All the negative reviews are sad. Every time I come here I feel like I'm visiting family. Both my therapist and psychiatrist communicate about important things, always include me in… everything discussed before and after. When I call the front desk, if there is any complications It only takes a few minutes to explain if I need an emergency meeting. Every staff member is amazing and sweet. I've only had one complication, within a week I told my therapist and he had it sorted out. I love this place.

Back in 2015 I had moved to Flagstaff from Phoenix. I had been utilizing mental health services prior to my move and found the transfer to S.W. Behavioral a seemless, painless process. There services: from private… counseling sessions to Physician appointments, and the many groups offered throughout the day, I found most beneficial and really enjoyed. I've sadly read the negative postings here and really can't understand the why. Soon I'll be returning to Flagstaff and sincerely hope to find, as I know I will, all is well.
