Can't say enough about the place. They are really nice and help you fast! Real progress immediately... not just put into the system. This place had me back to good after the state left me stuck on stupid and heavily… sedated for 10 years
This company and leadership does not stand behind immigrants, and punishes/discourages those who stand against discriminatory language towards them. Would give 0 stars if I could, would not recommend sending anyone you… love here!
Buena Vista Tucson has the best staff hands down! Staff is compassionate, non-judgemental, welcoming & they genuinely care about patients. The staff works as a team to help patients in every aspect of treatment. Because… it's a smaller facility, staff has more time to provide to each individual's needs. I wouldn't send my loved ones to any other detox in town because there's absolutely no comparison or equal alternative to BV amenities & quality of staff! Private rooms, catered food & the full continuum of care from detox to residential to a full array of IOP/OP/MAT options to suit anyone's scheduling needs. An Alumni program that's consistently growing to support former patients throughout their long-term recovery journey. Try to find a facility that offers anything close to BV Tucson, I bet you can't!
It was already hard to convince my brother to come here but when we finally did, towards the end we tried to get the case manager to do her part to help us continue on with the process. I got a referral from a rehab… place that stated the case manager can process paperwork (quick and simple process they stated) and arrange for them to pick him up when he is done here to continue on and get more help but case manager stated there's nothing she can do it. Didn't even want to find a solution or nothing careless.
I always feel welcomed by all the staff ❤️
I'm so grateful for this place 💯!!! I learned so much about myself and got some great tools and the help I need. I'm out of inpatient but I'm still going there for services. I have all the love for the faculty and that… place in general. They are amazing. Anyone that has anything bad to say about Buena Vista was either there for the wrong reasons or weren't ready. Thank you guys all the way around
Buena Vista has been such a blessing. The staff are incredibly supportive, understanding, and willing to help in any way possible. I never imagined that I would look forward to the sessions as much as I do. The group is… tight knit but so welcoming to all newcomers. It is truly a "safe space." I was hesitant to get 1:1 therapy but have also found that very beneficial to my recovery.
I have a close friend who’s getting help here, best place to go for help, amazing staff and a great alumni program, they save lives here.
This place is such a blessing the care and help they give they actually treat you with respect and as a person no matter what your battling I strongly encourage people to come experience true care and support and safely… 🙏
This facility is a great facility excellent staff ..including case workers Marcella n great medical team...always polite n helpful ...I would not recommend anywhere else.thank God for Buena Vista
I used to recommend BVRC to everyone seeking treatment plus bragged to everyone else how amazing I thought it was until now......Ken my case manager was the worst case manager by far I have ever had. He lied to me about… space availability at their 30 day residential treatment side of the facility. Then told me I was accepted to go to the ONE place I specifically told him I did NOT want to go. A lot of other problems with him like he would say he would come talk to me or others & never show. My issue with moving over to residential was clearly a judgement call on his end & a bad one. Now I'm not blaming him for why I am not in a 30 day program now BUT he did not help me by lying to me or by turning me away. Isn't rehab about 2nd chances & forgiveness ? Maybe he didn't get the memo or maybe he chose the wrong career. As far as I was always told your not supposed to let your personal feelings interfere with your job decisions. I also now don't feel like I can ever go back there if I needed to because I don't want to have to deal with him & his inadequate case management services. Other than that thank you to staff & other clients while I was there that even tried to step in on my behalf & talked to Ken about me to wich he did not acknowledge what so ever. Set your feelings aside next time Ken & do what's best for the client like I'm sure you agreed to do when you got the job there.
My adult daughter was transferred at this facility from a psychiatric center & then denied treatment because she had a mental illness.(she became mentally ill due to substance abuse). We spent $160.00 to transport her… to this facility & they denied treatment.
This place is absolutely wonderful, they saved my life and if I ever need the help again I would always come back here! Thank you Buena Vista!
I am absolutely devastated at that you didn’t fulfill your promise. You saw me in crisis and promised me! you promised me! That I could have somewhere to come back after the hospital stabilized me. You said you’d get… transportation to bring me back. You said you would help me. 2 days later I’m walking out of TMC on the east side with 3 pieces of paper for homeless shelters, no ride, no call, no text, no nothing. I’m sleeping in a park because you promised to be there and help me and didnt.
I am never ever going back to this rehab . I do not recommended this place to anyone who is really struggling with addiction. I will say that the arc rehab campuses treated me very well and did save my life when I was… dealing with my worst relapse ever.
Buena Vista DETOX I would personal like to thank you for helping me in one of my darkest hours. Getting in the center we hit a few obstacles but when inside the real magic happened. The place is clean and the food is… great! The rooms simple but work. When I first arrived Kiersten was amazing. She listen to all my concerns and answered all my questions. She was like a mother to me and I truly felt loved. During my week there everything was great I have to give MAD props to the nurse's Amy, Sarah, and Jennifer. you mad me feel awesome too by making sure to go out of your way to make sure I was comfortable and not just another number. These girls deserve more. Most the staff was great as well, but I will say it did feel like some where there to collect a pay check and not want to truly be there. We wont go there however and play nice. Anyway I love you guys, you You have saved my life and now it's my turn to do something with what you have given me, my life. PEACE OUT
Thank you Buena Vista for being there for me when I need it y'all are so sweet and kind and the best 💟
I went here and it changed my Life. this program is GREAT!. I recommend this place to All.
This place is ok
I just want to say thank you to Buena Vista and the staff that work there. These people care. I can personally tell the difference between someone who just comes in for a paycheck and someone who has unconditional love… and concern for every individual that they work with. From detox to out patient the staff go above and beyond to get their patients needs met! A special thanks to my case manager Katy for believing in me when I didn't even believe in myself. She met with me every day she worked and set me up for success! I'm on the next chapter of my life not only clean but finally happy. Thank you Katy!! And thank you Buena Vista. I recommend anybody needing help to at least check in for detox. Much love to you all -Sean B
I cannot express enough gratitude for the support I received from Buena Vista Recovery. Katy went above and beyond in helping me navigate my court case and making pre-trial calls, ensuring I felt supported and informed… every step of the way. Her dedication was truly remarkable. Mr Bacon and the entire staff played a pivotal role in changing my life for the better. Their compassion, understanding, and commitment to my recovery made all the difference. I highly recommend Buena Vista Recovery to anyone seeking help and transformation. Thank you all for everything!
Thank you Buena Vista Recovery. I am so grateful to you. Special thanks to amazing staff CM John, CM Katy and Ms. Josie. And really all the BHT's as well, everyone treated me like family. I highly recommend Buena Vista… to anyone struggling with dual diagnosis. The facility and the care they provide is top tier.Along with the will and desire change Buena Vista helped save my life.....
This place is a complete joke, staff if super unprofessional I have never seen anything like it. Very rude and childish.
Buena Vista Tucson is absolutely the best recovery center... The staff was so caring and helpful especially Katie. The whole staff amazing
Staff and facilitators goes above and beyond. Changed my life. Best connections and experience in a treatment facility. Definitely recommend if you want to change your life.

Buena Vista is a good place, I have had to return bc of my addiction and the staff is very kind. Some people in particular were really helpful. Rodney, Lucas, Nomi, and others but unfortunately I cannot remember their names. Those three have definitely helped me the most, and even after I graduated the program they continued to help me through OP/IOP/alumni and it is somewhere I feel safe at. Btw their food is good and you get your own room in residential. Some people might not like that you don't get your phone, for me I found it peaceful. Past rehabs I have been to have you back your phone after a week or two. They do allow you to make daily calls and if you need to take one longer than 10 minutes you can always talk to your case manager. Would definitely recommend if your insurance allows!
