The Healing Place – Campbellsville

This place is a joke, only thing taught here is about AA and the big book, no coping skills, no information about how addiction works. Also the have different rules and punishment for different clients. They get you in… a room as quickly as possible but don't tell you that if you have any income you have to pay rent until you get behind and the say you can't graduate the program unless you pay.... scamming people is all they do.

Lessons learned there for sure...more so about people and rehab'politics'..good program for sure idk how much 'help' I got as I relapsed upon being kicked out...but I'm sober 5+ years now...

One of the greatest places I've ever had the experience of visiting, just wish I paid a little bit more attention while I was there...

This place will always hold a special place in my heart for giving me a second chance at life when I didn't think I was worth one. If you aren't ready to take a program seriously, it will not be an easy time. They're… going to show you life how it really is and situations you're going to have to learn to deal with sober. There's no sugarcoating to it. Be ready to put in the work. It's not an easy road by any means but, if you work on it, you'll get everything you need out of the program to cope better with life and make the best choices for yourself.

They are a very family oriented behavior modification center. They are good at joining families together thru hardships and separation. (EASTER 2024 FAMILY DAY)

If you dont want recovery, dont waste your time. I finished the 6 month program it wasnt really easy to be told what to do and where i was wrong and have a peer driven community to help keep me ready to learn the next… right step at my disposal. This place has helped me learn how to build my foundation. But its all up to you what you do with the experience.

T.H.P Showed me a new way of life that's led me to where I'm at today. I'm 16 months sober and counting , if not for them and there staff I'd probably not be alive today to share my story.

The Healing Place have changed my life in a better way. They showed me a better way to look at myself from what I was doing wrong. I didn't really know how to be responsible with knowing how to live. I did always have a… job and be dependable at all time. But I couldn't keep up with paying for important Bills. Like paying rent, utilities, and etc. I didn't even have driver license for 16 years. So when I've seen how my old behavior went. I decided to change and was very determined to make things right. I stopped blaming others. Because now I know that I'm the problem. And God is the solutions. This place helped me to love myself. If you don't love yourself. Then how can you love God for his own creation. I learned to be patience for the message that I been searching for. And stopped demanding for answer. God works in mysterious ways. We get the message sometimes quickly or slowly. Now I have 3 and half years of sobriety. And living in a home with all the debt being paid on time and old debts getting caught up. Also getting my driver license in couple weeks. I am truly grateful for The Healing Place. I would highly recommend for anyone that is struggling their addiction to come there. If the person is willing to change. Then they may have that chance to change too. Just have faith. Thank you.

Not sure how good place is. No need for.me to check in. Was staying next door in hotel. Morning and night they are out back smoking out and traffic heavy in and out all the time!

The healing place saved my ass !

This place helped to change my life and saved me. It completely showed me a new way of life. The only thing that is better than the facility is the people that work there. There is so much love in this facility that… words cannot express my gratitude for it well enough. If you know of someone struggling with alcoholism or addiction then this place I would highly recommend. I learned not only how to deal with my addiction but also how to live life to the very fullest extent. I can honestly say that for myself I went from a scared little boy to a grown mature man. I am blessed to be able to call this my place of work. There is a spirit here unlike any other place I have ever visited and Campbellsville is blessed to have such a wonderful place located here.

This place is very racist! You can't even have a proper conversation without someone else coming into your private conversation asking if there's a problem when nobody's even in a bad mood. Not only that but when that… receptionist took it upon herself to come from way in the front to the back singling out group out while EVERYBODY'S laughing at the same story thiaan was telling only to tell us, the blacks out of all of these white people that we were too loud and the nit picking they do. You can't even have a decent conversation with a loved one without someone being and saying discriminating things and totally disrespectful. We live in the future not on-the-go past especially that supposed man in charge of looking after them. If there's no change in them you will be getting reported to the board, or embarrassed on the news this is a promise of events to come .
