I’ve had a very good experience with this clinic, especially with Dr. Tang. I go out of my way to come here specifically to see him. He takes the time to listen, explains things clearly, and I have a lot of confidence… in his care. I highly recommend him and this clinic.
Dr Merit is the bomb
Excellent health care
I use to live just around the corner from this clinic, I moved to Georgia and tried to get decent service there even tried Fort Benning only thing that was working well in Georgia was the doctors the assistance was… terrible. I transferred back down to this clinic and the doctor and the staff there is amazing. I will never leave again no matter how far I have to travel. I live in OCALA and I travel back-and-forth for my VA appointments to this clinic. That’s how good they are.
This past Monday i went to do a hearing test , it was my first experience using the VA and everything went smoothly , Dr Gutierrez was excellent , she was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions… . Thank you
I started visiting this VA Clinic out of convenience since its close to my home. This is the Worst Clinic I have worked with. They schedule Physical Exams without scheduling Blood Work, then they are rushing making… calls that the doctor can't see you without blood work. You report Pain to the Intake Nurse and they dismiss you without providing pain medication while you are there. You send a secure message to the doctor stating that the Intake Nurse Failed to Communicate to the Doctor any associated pain, and now they want you to setup another appointment when you was just there the same day you sent the message to the doctor. I will not state that everyone there is bad, but the VA Clinic has a problem with Continuity of Service. They have no process in place to ensure all necessary steps are completed before or after a visit to their clinic. The level of customer service is also questionable. This is a Service provided to Veterans that put their lives on the line for god and country. We simply deserve better. This clinic lacks Quality and Control of their Services to the Veteran. One final note: One of my Nurses lies during the Intake Form. Questions that are supposed to be asked to the Veteran, are not, and she enters whatever she thinks to enter without prompting questions. When having an Intake Form, before starting the questions, make sure you state that you want a printout of your answers before submitting yourself to the questioner. I went to the clinic to pick up paper work, and the doctor entered in his form that I went as a follow-up for Diabetes when all I did was pick up paper work. Yet another lie. This clinic is clearly unprofessional in nature. They are more interested in making money than taking care of the patient, hence the lies on their forms. I would go somewhere else for treatment. This is your VA benefit, don't someone else ruin it for you.
The customer service at this location is the worst I have ever experienced. I’ve worked in the health care system for over 15 years and I’ve never experienced such neglect. The male receptionist was outside talking on… his phone while the lobby was completely empty. He never greets anyone. He never looks professional. I was turned away when trying to get my PPD administration examined because I was “too early” (70 hours) post initial administration. Per the CDC PPDs must be examined between 48-72 hours. My biggest concerned is not about me, I’m more concerned for the care of elderly Veterans who proudly served they’re country and have to put up with this quality of care.
Always a pleasant experience here at this clinic with my veteran grandma.
I had a wonderful experience at this clinic. Everyone was very kind and professional. I am very grateful to be part of this VA! Thank you all.
I just want to thank Dr Iravedra, Nurse Miriel, & the staff for helping me get all the req'ments I need for school.
I have had only courteous, professional service. I am thankful for the service provided by the VA.
No sign stating hours on the door. Official VA website says open 8am-430pm. Came at 4'o clock and closed. I mean I get if I came 5 mins before closing but I didn't. This is ridiculous
Marie and everyone else in site are super friendly and welcoming they treat us like family. Love going here
Veterans. I here your voices but one question. How many of you have called your congressman to voice your concerns. I thought so. The Kiosk is a big Concern, Second, The behavior of the clerks, not good. suggestion get… the mailing address of the congress man/woman and post. it here and start a letter campaign.
Best service in town great staff
Robert, the young man at the front desk, must be fired. The physicians must learn to use VA Video Connect. The clinic needs a U.S. Veteran as a Manager.
The male receptionist is unprofessional, and why he doesn't wear the mask even when there is a sing that mask are required. He needs to remember our taxes pays his salary so he needs to be professional with heroes who… served this country.
I wasn't treated very well by the staff, so I found another VA clinic.
I was treated well and was attended in a reasonable time. I love the Doctor that attended me, hate to see her leave to another clinic. Wish her well in her new job.
The staff and service was great for my first visit.
I agree with all the comments Waiting 3 to 6 months to see the PCP is outrageous also had an emergency and walk in to they clinic and the nurse made me wait 2 and a half hours to just tell me that the doctor is really… busy and just to go to the ER in Miami
I have to agree, the staff is horrible towards the veterans, with only a few exceptions. It takes up to 2 to 3 months to see you your primary care doctor. The front staff definitely needs CS training. Horrible place to… go for anything.
This has got to be one of the worst understaffed clinics in Broward. Unorganized, this place should just go ahead and close down. Forever canceling your appts, and don't never call you to reschedule in most cases..… Browsed County has got to do better to serve our Vets, and going to Miami is out of the Questions its a straight Circus.
