Compass Health Systems – Hollywood Detox and Rehab Services

Compass Health Systems – Hollywood appears on the register for intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.

The record shows integrated treatment rather than one problem then the other. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Compass Health Systems – Hollywood Address, Location and Contact Information

You will find this provider at 1601 North Palm Avenue, Hollywood, Florida, 33026. Broward County covers this area. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.

It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

If I could give this place no star I would!! I decided to use this program with my work EAP Program. My program approved 6 free sessions of therapy. This location kept calling me to add a credit card to my account which… was not necessary since I had EAP. I did one session with Dr. Dolia Peguero which was fantastic. I was excited for more sessions. The only way to make appointments is by using their so-called app. No one answers the phone when you call so the app is the backup method. I was able to finally get a few sessions scheduled with the therapist after several messages via the app. Once set up, the day of my second appointment I was left a voicemail message on my phone that I needed a credit card on file if not my second appointment would be canceled. Since I have EAP I don't need a card on file. They proceeded to cancel my second appointment the day of my session and after me trying to contact them several times to rectify the issue. I tried calling and sending messages via the app with no responses or assistance. After trying four times to contact someone via the phone or the app I decided to give up and leave my final message on the app saying I wanted all my sessions canceled. When I check the account on the app it states I owe $150 when all these sessions, especially the one only one I had should have been free from the beginning. Good luck getting any help with any staff member. Unfortunately, Dr. Peguero is associated with this program because she was truly a great therapist and seemed to have been able to help me in therapy. I'm extremely disappointed and exhausted by how they make people run around to seek help they truly need. Super sad to see!!!!

1 star – and that’s only because zero isn’t an option. We were referred here by Memorial Healthcare. That referral will not be happening again. First visit: the check-in tablet didn’t work. Staff told us to keep trying… — over and over — instead of finding a workaround. No restroom in the office, and the one in the hallway is locked with no signage explaining you need a key. After waiting over an hour, we finally saw the PA, who couldn’t get my son’s name right. His name is Jake. He called him Anthony four times — even after being corrected three times. Basic stuff. The PA then scheduled a follow-up for June 18th at 11am at the Pembroke Pines office. My wife showed up and the door was locked. We each spent close to an hour on hold trying to reach someone. When someone finally answered, we were told for the first time that Pembroke Pines is only open on Tuesdays. Nobody mentioned that when the appointment was made. Tuesdays don’t work for our family. We were told to just go to Oakland Park instead. That was the end of it — we told them we were done and would find another provider. Now we’re getting non-stop appointment reminders and texts threatening cancellation fees for appointments we never booked. We did not make these appointments. We will not be paying these fees. At this point it’s harassment. Avoid this place. Every single interaction was a failure from start to finish.

What a Joke! Andrew Sadek sent me for a UA and EKG. Show up to the office gave the UA and the receptionist advised the EKG professional no longer works there and would be a month before they would be able to perform the… EKG. Went back the next day and the receptionist called the Dr and advised me the medication would be called in. Waited 2 days still no meds. Called back and was advised the meds were being called in now. Waited 2 more days no meds. Called back a 3rd time to find they need to send me somewhere else for the EKG. They tried to schedule another tele health to bleed some money out of me. What a joke, they are supposed to be mental health Dr. I am worse off then before seeing them. Stay away if you can!! Every call on hold for 45min to an hour. They should be shut down.

I was called yesterday to confirm an appointment for today. When I arrived, a woman came out of the office looking very surprised and said ‘who are you?’ As it turns out, the receptionist had called out, which meant the… doctors couldn’t come in that day (????) I did not receive a call in the morning that my appointment was canceled. Disrespectful staff and no respect for patients’ time or emergency needs. Do yourself a favor and find a different clinic, this place is trash. Edit: they also scheduled a follow-up appointment without telling me! If I hadn't checked my email I would have missed the appointment and probably incurred a no-show fee. What a scam.

Dr Monica Arnp of Dr Greenstein is great she does not do practice with high doses of meds. I agree that management issues it takes more than 10 minutes to get them on phone sometimes 30 minutes but they are not as… greedy to sell meds as memorial outpatient is. Memorial outpatient centre is keeping Dr Guerra s colleges who has no knowledge of side effects of even abilify. God bless compass management and Dr Greenstein Yaakov and his colleagues. Compass health care is great they know how to take history of patients yesterday was my great experience

I was a patient at Compass Health Care and previously saw Dr. Maria Cabrera, who was professional and attentive. After switching to Dr. Sadek, my experience was very disappointing. I requested an ESA letter and was… denied immediately without any evaluation, questions, or discussion, he simply said he does not feel comfortable providing them. This felt dismissive and unprofessional. Patients deserve to be heard and properly assessed, especially regarding their emotional well-being. I would not recommend Dr. Sadek based on my experience.

I was a patient there for 10 years sometime ago. And it was a mess back then, but after trying to get into several other offices without any luck, I broke down and made an appointment here. The appointment was made for… the next day. They had no wait time which should have been my first clue. At my first appointment, the doctor let me talk and after diagnosing. What she thought was my condition. She did put me back on a medication, I had been on previously, with another medication I hadn't tried yet, she said my prescription would be called in that day. When I only got partial of the prescription, I called the office and they said the rest would be called in at 530 that was never called in. So I called twice and left 2 messages and never received a call back. The second part of the medication was the one I really needed, and now I remember why I stopped going there in the first place. The waiting room was empty. And like I said, I have no problems getting an appointment. And now I realize that they're just as bad as they were before, it takes an hour to get in touch with someone on the phone and then you're only gonna get someone only who answers phones, not anyone in the office tell you that someone will call you back and no one ever will they'll tell you you're getting your prescription called in, and it never will. And this happened to me years ago for years, and now it's happening again, don't go there, even if it's your last resort, I'd probably Yes you will regret it.

I’ve been a patient in the past an I’m trying again. There is always an issue with the office and my insurance company. Mental health is covered under my insurance, even though my id card says there’s a co pay - I don’t… have to pay. I paid the co pays then get a refund. It’s a cycle that’s doesn’t have to happen if compass health verification department can put in my chart that I don’t have to pay this copay this revolving door we wouldn’t be in. The staff is friendly and helpful. The nurse practitioner is great too.

I used to be a patient many years ago and that was before any virtual appointments. Even then I'd wait hours and still had issues getting my medically necessary medication. I was thinking about coming back but reading… these reviews there's no way im going back to them. And I went there for more than 10 years! I'd been to every location and seen every doctor and nurse practitioner. They were the worst. So ty to all of you who left reviews because you saved me the anxiety I already have.

If you value your health, PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE! They will ghost you when you need vital medication. It's been over a week and I cannot even get someone on the phone to make an appointment. They keep saying they will… call back and they never ever do. I feel so sick and I do not think they are calling back any time soon. Also, this is not the first time this has happened. Go anywhere else except for Compass. This is the message I have been spamming them with ALL DAY. It's so disheartening. EMERGENCY: No one has called me back in over a week. Things are feeling so bad, and I need my antidepressants to function. Here is what is happening: - Last week Tuesday (10/21/25) was my appointment and the doctor never called. - I called for days before I could even get someone on the line to book me another appointment. - I left my callback number multiple times to no avail. - Finally, I got someone on the line Friday afternoon. - I told him I had been without my antidepressants for days and I needed an appointment. - I got the earliest appointment Monday (10/27/25) @ 10 AM. - No one called me on Monday. - I have been calling every single day for an appointment, and no one has answered me. - It has now been a week and change since I took my meds and I feel awful. Can't function, nauseous, in pain, constipated, and just SICK. I need help and I'm not even sure if you guys care that I need your help, but I do. Please at least acknowledge that I exist if you are dropping me as a patient or something, but ghosting is so unprofessional.

If you care about your mental health, avoid this place AT ALL COSTS! The most unprofessional and careless people I've ever let treat me for such delicate subjects. Their medication management team is completely useless;… they will leave you with NO medication and no answer for weeks, if not months. The doctor will have a 5-minute session with you every month and call it a day -- that is, if the doctor actually has the session with you and not the next-best-thing nurse on-call. Insurance milking pigs is all they are.

Avoid this group if you can. I've never experienced such lack of ethics and professionalism. Twice in a week I was stood up for 3 hours waiting on a virtual appointment, and no one ever picks up the phone. Every month… was a headache to handle my son's med management and the list of issues goes on and on.

I've been receiving treatment at this place for 8 years, but it seems the patients here are a joke to the professionals. They don't send my medication to the pharmacy when I call. Everyone takes it very lightly, as if I… were a dog. I don't think this place is suitable for treating people with psychiatric problems. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Medications that, in many cases, can cause dangerous health reactions if not taken, but none of these people seem to care.

Horrible no one in competent at this office. They don’t communicate with the patients when appointments are changed. It’s crazy how this clinic has not closed down! They help no one with anything you need. They just… prescribe meds and send you on your way. I worked at many dr. Offices and clinics before and I have never seen such inefficient practices. They are always back and forth with the call center because in office can not do anything they don’t communicate and you are left with having to call around and wait for them to do their jobs and help you but they won’t. I do t know why the front office employees are there? No office manager or anyone of authority you can speak to ever! You must call the call center for that for everything! They tell you you have to call and then it’s just a run around all over again! Horrible! Is the only way I can describe the way they work. Some of the reps for the call center are nice and some are rude so good luck. I would never recommend this center I hope they close down!
