Henderson Behavioral Health – Hollywood Detox and Rehab Services
What Henderson Behavioral Health – Hollywood offers, on record, is intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

I go here for my meds. I tried to get help from the therapist Joanna but all she wanted to do was tell me other clients business and talk about being a minority. Oh well.
Claudine Steril and Ana Palacios at front desk have always been kind and very professional to me every time I came to my therapy sessions with my wonderful therapist Adrienn Nagy she really Helped me thank you All
This place should be condemned if it had a 0 that's what It's rated
Completely unprofessional staff at the front desk! Doctors are constantly changing I can't even get an appointment for over a month to get my medication changed because I had jaw surgery and can no longer take it and… instead I get told to get myself bakeracted because I'm willingly refusing to take my meds? Completely unprofessional don't work In behavioral health if you don't want to help people! People with mental health issues struggle enough without doctors and front desk workers judgement
Good service
Doctor Shalom was rude; didn’t feel like she was listening to me; I’ve been going through scary things the same week with my family and was trying to explain that to her, but it seemed like she was just trying to give… me meds, I shown her a few face book posts that frightened me and while looking she seen other posts that mentioned black women( def not written by me) I’m not sure if she took offense to that but she proceeded to prescribe me of which I didn’t agree to. The whole interview she seemed to have an attitude, a bit hostile, rushy, like I was just a number. My original doctor who is Tatiana is much better; I couldn’t schedule with her because of time.
I gave 1 star because there is no option for 0-zero! First of all, the staff is rude and dismissive; I go there to seek help for MY OWN mental health and I don't have to stand for that. Second, the website touts about… supportive housing and supported employment and all the staff says is that's not offered. Well, if those services are not offered, why the hell are they advertised on the website? Third, who hires the front desk staff anyway; they shouldn't be there if they don't like their work. They need to find other jobs if they can't properly treat the people who walk in the door seeking help! Thank you.
My son is currently hospitalized in this hospital (February 28, 2023), but he's having a crisis and they can't treat him effectively because they won't give him an injection to help him sleep and calm down.
My dr. Retired with little to no notice to his patients. I have a new dr....... All I'm going to say is if I can get my psycho a$$ out of bed to go receive help, then the staff working with me should too. My dr. Sits in… the comfort of her home while on VIDEO chat with me in HER OFFICE. I think that is very unprofessional to the people that are actively seeking help.
It's just more depressing to go to this place. All I can say is find somewhere else if you want to improve your mental health.
It feels like this location has been in a freefall for the last few months prior to Dr. Pean's retirement. Scheduling is a nightmare with appointments being set without informing the patient, appointments being set with… the wrong personnel, etc. So aggravating to receive an automated app't reminder call for an app't you didn't know about! There must be a better place to receive behavioral healthcare in Broward, it's hard to imagine a more disorganized operation. If you have to go, do not set an early morning app't, since most of the staff will be eating breakfast at their desks until around 10am, similar situation around lunchtime.
Great way to refill up ur meds. No hassle and little paperwork averages wait about 15 minutes. Great staff very attentive fun what others say go get your refills.
Rudest front staff personal
Munafo says was saying I was being rude. And disrespectful. Which when I asked how he wouldn't even explain. Just dismissing me. Just another male calling woman disrespectful when they're not super polite. But I was… just talking ? It happened so fast how do people except to work there and have no compassion for anyone???? They won't help on my anxiety and get me on stimulants to manage my ADHD. I'm having to go somewhere else. Don't go to Henderson.
I'm a medical professional. I call several occasions to solve a patient (relative)situation. First of all, the system do not allow you to select a language, (not Spanish or any other) not a problem for some, but for… several patients that is a big issue. The call is the received by a "call center", with very rude personnel, that ask a lot of questions, then they transfer you to front desk, who ask again another set of questions including the ones that you already answer to the "call center", after that front desk transfer you to (I'm not sure) a Nurse (Amber), who apparently is very busy and is not answering the call, so you have to left a message that is never returned. The personnel in general is not helpful. Is very frustrating, and unprofessional. Stay away of this place.
Staff are friendly and they have always been kind.
It horrible place to visit. Highly do not recommend it. They will try to sell you a service even if you don't need that. Stay away.
They were very punctual and professional
Horrible experience with Jeanette Steinberg (nurse practitioner) and the lady who was there with the computer. Put my father on medications that are giving him side effects like tremors/ shaking making him not want to… do anything all day and according to her “those aren’t common side effects so it’s not possible” even though everywhere online you can read about how common those side effects are including the warning on the prescription !! She was VERY condescending and not willing to listen she just wanted to prescribe more anti depressants when my father wants to come off of them and then accused my father of taking more than what is prescribed for his “sleep” medication and sometimes he doesn’t even take it because it makes him feel bad and he doesn’t have trouble sleeping. Going to Do my research on the different DOCTORS and maybe give it another chance but I wouldn’t recommend anyone seeing Steinberg unless you just want to be pumped with drugs from a lady through a video chat call who doesn’t care about how it affects you and will talk down to you like if we don’t live in an era full of information. Speak up for yourself or bring someone to speak up for you if you go here.
Was taking a bipolar med and doctor referred to take 2 meds with a script to memorial health and was gonna be 1300 bucks. Said he would not see me until I was taking the craving meds so now I'm feeling horrible cause I… cant take my bipolar meds. Dr pea aka peanut is not taking care if his patients correctly.
Building needs some TLC , but for the most part staff has been kind and helpful. Most therapists I’ve seen have been great
