I came here for mental health treatment and substance abuse .The bht’s specifically Lashonda Cindy, Bobbie ,Alexa, Sebastian and Alicia, clinical staff Elena are the best in the business there’s two therapist that made… an impact here for me and helped me learn a lot about myself both in group and regular weekly sessions named Sarah and Shawna . I still have a long way to go but there’re amazing at encouragement, kindness and they see and hear you out help get things done too . I feel rejuvenated on to the next stop … php. I’m gonna miss all of them . -Jordan

The staff was on top of all the diffrent task that had to be done on a daily schedual.They were a big help in my recovery.Clean living area and plenty to do even after the daily clases were done.Ask them and they would… be as accommodating as possible.Thanks to everyone there. GOD BLESS THEM ALL.

I came to compassions for substance use. I rate staff, food, beds, all 10 out of 10. The therapist, case manager, and the techs made the biggest impact on me. I recommend this place for sure.

I came to treatment because I wasn’t myself at all feeling very depressed and anxious my symptoms were escalating and I felt I needed this program it’s my 2nd time here and I loved it both times this time specifically… my biggest thing was getting my mood in order.. I wanted to leave here knowing that I wouldn’t feel how I felt when I came in and I was able to accomplish that with my meds the staff and the group here everyone is supportive and caring i highly recommend coming to CBH it won’t disappoint.

I came to compassionate for mental health related to Trama in my past & over a 30 day treatment with there Therapist & Provider assigned to me; got me back to my old self & my journey started of finally dealing with my… past physical trauma & the ptsd.

I have to say by far the best mental health and substance abuse residential place I have been I have come so far with the knowledge and curriculum taught and the medical staff are amazing I feel like a new woman I know… I am worthy to the best carr possible and I received it here at compassions thanks to the friendliest staff. Thanks lashawna and Alexa and Elena the case worker just wonderful.

Compassion Behavioral Health was a godsend for me. I have dealt with severe anxiety most of my life and this place was very helpful in teaching me the necessary coping skills to deal with said anxiety. The staff was… great! If you are struggling with anxiety and/or addiction this place can be a good place to get your life back on track!

My experience here at CBH has been fantastic. The support from everyone during my time of need is much needed. I've been on the streets due to mental health and substance issues. They've been more than happy to help… with my current legal issues with Case Management. If you are currently going through the struggle this treatment center is going to go the extra mile. I highly recommend CBH for anyone who needs help with substance abuse and/or mental health issues.

Coming to CBH has been a blessing for me. I came to uneasy, specially after other facilities I’ve been too. But this place has offered so much support and care. The facility is beautiful and the techs care about… everyone here. Clean environment, lots to do and most importantly lots of work. I would come back

I came for mental health and Substance abuse. I was in really bad shape, confused and lost in life. They helped me guide my life in a better direction that even I couldn’t even imagine. I am now aspiring to go back to… school for an even better life!

THE WORST AND UNPROFRESSIONAL!! The tech workers, nurses, and Jake & Kelly the facilitators are the true hero's of this place! Shauna the therapist is very condescending and has this juvenile attitude that she's better… than you. She makes you feel lower than her because to her, we are degenerates trying to get back on our own good grace. The clinical director, Barbara, also went against her job scope. I tried to AMA out when I realized what a SCAM this place WAS being ran by her! She gave my mom the wrong expertise as if she was the psychiatrist or therapist, lied to the cops that she has to orally give me pills to calm me down the day before when I had it with the therapist. THEN THOUGHT THAT IF SHE BAKER ACTED ME AFTER I REQUESTED THE AMA THINKING IT WOULD BRING ME RIGHT BACK TO THE PLACE AFTER BY LYING TO MY MOM AND WAS ADVOCATING THAT MY MOM LET ME BECOME HOMELESS IF I DIDN'T DO MY TIME THERE. If anyone wants to save themselves the time and money, DO NOT COME HERE!

Struggling with my mental health, I needed to step away from the outside world for a bit, bringing me to Compassion. Being here has allowed me to focus on myself without all the distractions. I truly felt the genuine… kindness of the staff here and that they cared about me and my recovery. There's many groups throughout the day which cover an array of topics and life changing skills.

I was struggling with my mental health . My warning ⚠️ signs were visible and I needed more care at the residential level . At CBH I was cared for immediately. It took 2 weeks for medication to take effect . During that… adjustment the staff were available and caring. Shout out to Ashley and Sara, Elena Groups were thought provoking. Overall pleasant experience

Compassion is actually the place where CBT and DBT are taught! I've searched everywhere for a place like this. The staff is STELLAR. Aliyah helped get through a panic attack here for the first time in my LIFE! It gave… me hope that this is the place is where I can practice and build the skills I need to implement in the real world. I was so insanely terrified and coming here but the staff really cares. Thank you to Raquel, Jake and Kelly. Also to Stephanie who is a brilliant teacher and comedian ha! Thank you to Cindy (really holds things down with such elegance and ease), Alexa, Lashondra for her sweetness during my intake and on the daily, Shaquila for her leadership and humility, Kesha (is such a sweetheart!). Thank you to Sarah my therapist for your relentless care and understanding! Thank you to Elena for your professionalism and also for sharing your humanity. I hope to come back one day as a peer specialist and help with music therapy. God bless you all.

I came here to get my life back on track from years and years of repressed emotions, trauma and alcoholism. This place has been an amazing experience for me because of the kind and understanding staff! But lets not… forget the welcoming and loving community built by the other clients! I was terrified to come here being so far from from home but I've enjoyed every step of this journey so far. I highly recommend this place for all who need help no matter what it be! Everyone is welcomed!

I spent three weeks at Compassion Behavioral Health residential in Hollywood, FL. I came in for ruminating thoughts that I was using substances to mediate unsuccessfully. Throughout the DBT focus in the curriculum and… my work with a therapist, I learned what was going on internally and tools to cope with my thinking patterns. Ultimately, I was introduced to the work of Adult Children of Alcoholics which has been such a blessing and help for my life moving forward. Though the nutrition needs improvement in terms of more fresh fruit and salad options, I would not trade my time here. I am looking forward to PHP and chose to stay with CBH for that next chapter. I came to get treatment for my mental health and anxiety and I definitely got the help I need. The Staff here are very caring, helpful and supportive. And the routine schedule with group therapy and individual therapy… really set me up for success.

Bri is literally the knight and shining armor of this place. I have know clue where I would be with out her. Everything I needed she was on it. Always made me feel seen and heard. Helped save my life. I owe her So much.… She is the best case manager I have ever worked with in my life. Their isn't a problem she can't solve. Thank

I can’t say enough good things about this treatment center. From the moment I arrived, the staff has been welcoming, compassionate, and genuinely invested in my recovery. They treat everyone with respect, provide… unwavering support, and always take the time to listen and encourage you through the difficult moments. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication have made a tremendous difference in my healing journey, creating a safe and positive environment where real recovery feels possible. I am incredibly grateful for the care I’ve received and highly recommend this treatment center to anyone looking for a place where they will truly be supported every step of the way.

CBH is by far the best facility I’ve been to. Unfortunately I’ve been to many facilities in my past, but looking back and comparing CBH to those facilities, it doesn’t even compare. CBH is the best facility by far!! The… therapy you receive is amazing!! Even down to the staff. CBH is actually full of people that care about you. During my time I’ve developed great bonds with people that I would now consider life long friends. If you told me a month ago I’d be walking away with my mental health restored and friends (that I now consider family) I can really count on I wouldn’t believe you. Now look at me.. if you’re shopping around looking for a good facility, you should stop. This is the place to be at!! CBH is clean, and they know what they’re doing.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I was here in 2023 for a psychotic episode and felt instantly pathologized. The doctor there at the time told me that I am severely paranoid schizophrenic and would need a… nursing home.I was only 23 years old at the time-imagine being told that! The catering food service was disgusting and I felt the staff to be unprofessional. Since the three years, I landed interviews at top companies in my area and even landed a healthcare job myself. Do yourself a favor and proceed with caution.

My experience with the the Case Manager Elena Morales was amazing, she is extremely helpful and most importantly she truly CARES which is hard to find in facilities like these. Especially being that she is the only case… manager on staff. She went out of her way to get me a dental appointment and get me food stamps. She also got my cell phone turned back on which was way above and beyond. I can't say enough wonderful things about Elena's professionalism and just all around amazing treatment for her clients

The staff was always kind and very responsive with all my needs, the food was good and there was always snacks and ice cream on deck. Everything was very clean and they even do your laundry for you. I definitely… recommend CBH to anyone taking their first steps into recovery.

I went to compassion for my mental health, I improved a lot with my emotions and learned to control myself. Elena the case manager helped me organize my appointments for my physical health and is a really nice gal. Jake… the facilitator also is the best I always want to be in his groups because it’s very entertaining and also a lot of good insights on how to be a better person, some of the topics he gives is a reality check and it will make you process a lot. Overall the place is really nice and they are compassionate just like there name.

Miserable experience! Dealing with Lauren Chambers was a complete nightmare! Very rude and disrespectful to a lot of us here. Avoid!
