The register shows Oaklawn Hospital – Marshall providing residential treatment. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.

great place to send mentally ill family members if you want a team that won’t lift a finger and will release said family member prematurely! my family member has now fleed the country in a state of mania whilst… experiencing hallucinations. thank you oak lawn! awesome work!

Health insurance is a joke they want you to pay a $3.000 deductible before any prescriptions are covered, who can afford that, high turnovers. Oaklawn hospital is going down. NEXT!!!

Terrible customer service, terrible management, and leadership. I get referred here, only to be accepted by a doctor who is being let go by the hospital. They see me, test me, take my money, then they let the doctor go,… and allow his patients (and myself) to fall through the cracks and be left with absolutely no resolution to my health concerns whatsoever. Now, I presumably, will have to start the entire process all over again. Typical profits over people.

Exceptional Doctor; professional, immaculate "bed-side" manner and truly gifted. Oaklawn is a World-Class Facility and has, by its nature continues to solicit the best-in-field for its processes.

Absolutely 5/5 stars for Oaklawn Hospital and the Birth Center. After having my first baby at a different hospital, I can honestly say there was no comparison. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome,… comfortable, and genuinely cared for. They kept us informed, stayed on schedule whenever possible during my induction, and were always there when we needed them. One thing I especially appreciated was how accommodating they were to my husband. They made sure he was comfortable, had snacks available, and was able to stay by my side so he could support me throughout the entire experience. The nurses and staff were incredible. They stayed positive, shared jokes with us, and made us feel like we truly belonged there and were going to be taken care of. Those small moments meant so much during such an emotional and exhausting time. I also struggled with feeding after delivery, and not a single person gave up on me. They continued to encourage me, cheer me up, and help me every step of the way. I truly can’t say enough good things about Oaklawn’s Birth Center. This was, without a doubt, the best birth experience I could have asked for.

We went to the emergency department Thursday afternoon with our baby, the staff was so kind and helpful and took the time to explain everything. She ended up being air lifted to U of M and thankfully she is in stable… condition now. I just wanted to take the time to thank the er staff who was on duty Thursday night, without them our baby might have not made it, I hope this post reaches the staff who helped so they know that she is doing alright and how grateful we are!

I took my husband to the ER Yesterday ( first time patient )and he was admitted for 24 hours. We cant say enough about the care he received! Nurses and Dr's were so caring, polite and just a breath of fresh air compared… to what we have received in other hospitals recently! I wish I could rate more than 5 stars!!!!

My dad has to have his throat stretched periodically and now it has gotten to a point that if it involves his throat, he was told to go to the ER by Dr. Shah. Dr. Shah even said he has to be admitted now! So imagine to… my surprise, ER staff do not believe him!! So what do they do when they cannot get ahold of Dr. Shah? They send him to Bronson of Kalamazoo!!! This is the second time this has happened. Ohhhhh and the best part? He wasn’t even evaluated! They kept him in a room with no IV, no medication, no NOTHING, for FOUR hours!!! So now, we are stuck with a VERY unnecessary ambulance bill. This is not okay, and I will not stand for the negligence. We are in talks of possibly getting a lawyer.
