Apex Recovery – Succasunna Detox and Rehab Services

Apex Recovery – Succasunna appears on the register for partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.

Excellent care. Staff has been super nice and supportive from the beginning. My counselor, Lucia, I feel is exactly what I need right now to get my recovery going in the right direction. Nikki and Vance have also been… great in group! If you want to take recovery seriously come here.

I am extremely disappointed and disgusted with how this recovery program handled my situation\. As someone actively working on my recovery, consistently passing drug tests, and doing what I was supposed to do, being… suddenly removed from the program is incredibly discouraging\. What makes this even worse is that, from my perspective, the decision appears to have been influenced by a personal conflict with a therapist rather than my actual progress or compliance with the program\. I was also given advice by this therapist that she specifically told me was not supposed to be said and was “off the record\.” That situation makes the way everything unfolded afterward feel even more inappropriate and, in my opinion, retaliatory\. Recovery programs are supposed to support people who are actively trying to stay sober and better their lives—not potentially put their recovery at risk by removing someone from a program when they are actively doing the work and passing their drug tests\. I strongly encourage anyone considering this program to ask serious questions about how complaints, disagreements with staff, confidentiality, and disciplinary decisions are handled\. My experience has left me feeling that one person’s personal issues or opinions can outweigh the hard work and progress a client has made\. I came here to work on myself and stay clean\. I was doing exactly that\. To be treated this way by a program that is supposed to support people in recovery is honestly shameful\.

I could tell 20 examples of poor and unethical behaviors at this place. Please do not send your family members here. I did and it was so bad that I would laugh if it wasn't so serious. Boundary violations, poor level of… care, staff changes at the drop of a hat. Im shocked they are still around.

An amazing place to say the least. The entire staff puts your wellbeing first from recovery to therapy and beyond. From the moment you walk and greated by the lovely Catherine to the individual therapy sessions with… Niki, your care and recovery come first. I'm blessed to have found this place and overwhelmed with love for the help and lessons I'll take with me for the rest of my life. Make Apex your first stop on your journey.

As a current mental health professional, I am often asked for referrals for outpatient treatment facilities. The ONLY facility I would ever recommend to a loved one would hands down be Apex. Dr.D is an incredibly… passionate and caring physician and Apex Recovery is so lucky to have such a great owner and mentor. I had a friend in need of treatment the other evening and I reached out to Dr.D personally for some assistance. Not only did he respond immediately, but was able to make the transition easy and comfortable for someone struggling whom had never been in treatment before. There are not many owners of these facilities who would go above and beyond the way Dr.D and his staff do. Apex was the first option that came to mind when I had a friend in need. Highly highly recommend!

I cannot express enough how transformative my experience at this recovery center was. From the moment I arrived, I felt embraced by a warm and welcoming environment that made me feel at home. The staff took me in with… open arms, demonstrating genuine compassion and understanding for my situation. What stood out the most was their commitment to treating everyone with kindness, free from any bias. Each person is recognized as an individual, and the attention given to my emotional and physical needs was truly remarkable. The supportive atmosphere fostered a sense of community that made it easier to share my struggles and triumphs. This center not only provides the necessary resources for recovery but also creates a nurturing space where healing can truly begin. If you or someone you know is seeking help, I wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful place. It is a sanctuary of hope and love, where you can begin your journey toward a healthier, happier life.

The staff at Apex Recovery are very friendly and they genuinely care about the people they work with. I can honestly say that I look forward to going to be able to be around people with a common goal to better… themselves and an environment that allows us to grow. Special shoutout to both Ryan’s, Rachel, Dr. Dom, and Nikki who is not there anymore but was a great person to talk and open up to. I enjoyed my experience talking with all of them!
