Counseling Center at Roxbury – Succasunna

On April 18, my daughter had an online introductory session with this place. We were aware that they were out of network, but we were told that we would not be charged more than $50 a session. After that first session,… I was informed that my flex spending account was depleted from this session. They took over $600 for my flex spending. When I called them about it, they kept assuring me that I wasn’t charged more than $50 even though I was able to show them that they took over $700 total. Then after Taking all of that money for this one SINGLE APPT, I received another bill today for $249 basically making this initial consultation appointment almost $1000. You guys are crooks and should be shut down. You don’t care about peoples mental health. Please go anywhere else here they don’t care about people they care about getting as much money from your insurance as possible, and then not following up when you questioned them on their billing

Made an initial consult appointment for my daughter. My daughter did a 45 minute virtual appointment in April. Then we scheduled another appointment. Prior to this, I was informed that they were out of my network, but… they told me that they work with people because I was concerned at being charged $600 a session.. I was assured I would NOT be charged that. I log into my FSA a couple of days ago and it’s completely depleted. These people took over $600 for a virtual initial consultation appointment… They lied to me.. When I called the Roxbury office to question discharge, I was told that they don’t handle the billing there and they can’t help me and they transferred me to sunrise detox…where I was transferred to five Different staff members who told me that the person at the Roxbury center should be helping me they can’t… These people lie and are unethical and i will NOT bring my kid or anyone there! I will be filing a complaint As well since I was never informed of the charge, nor did I give permission for you to charge my insurance and deplete my flex spending

Josh was a wonderful counselor to work with over my time spent at the Counseling Center, Roxbury I learned a lot of things I never knew by myself and about my recovery. compared to other treatment centers in the area… that I’ve attended I’ve never had an experience like I had at the counseling center. I believe the counseling center has made me a better person not only to my family, but myself. It wasn’t the easiest thing I’ve ever done and it took time but the counseling center was there to help. thank you Josh for everything, I appreciate your time and expertise with helping me on my journey. I now wake up every morning with meaning. My life is back to its best after getting sober. If your considering the counseling center in Roxbury NJ, you’ll be in good hands.
