Pennsylvania Behavioral Health Center – Phoenixville Detox and Rehab Services
Pennsylvania Behavioral Health Center – Phoenixville carries a listing for partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

They are always nice and friendly to meet and to be around
I have had such amazing progress being able to find someone that could help me through my battles. I’m still a working progress but I’m so thankful for my sessions I got to have, because now I can start enjoying life… and loving myself again ❤️
3 doctors later. All suck
I spent four months during 2025 in the PHP program and it was a life changing experience. The therapists there each bring something different to the group each day and they clearly care about each and every patient. As… one of the therapists frequently says..."The program works if you work it." It really takes full commitment and effort, but it truly works! Go in with an open heart, open mind and be ready to share and grow. I left with a toolkit that I use in my daily life and will use for the rest of my life. There is no one size fits all solution so be open to trying new skills and new experiences. #trusttheprocess
Amazing place!!! Would recommend!!!
I was in PHP for a few months at the beginning of this year for continuous feelings of existential dread and depression. I had a decent experience. However, at the beginning it was very unclear how the program worked as… it was never clearly explained during intake. I wound up feeling even more triggered by the strict rules as I was working full time on top of attending. I wound up more stressed than when I went in. I found that most of the therapists there had no knowledge of somatic or trauma therapy. There was little to no focus on trauma processing, CPTSD or emotional regulation. This program is heavily focused on substance use and CBT. Which historically CBT does not work for PTSD. I would recommend it for those seeking very traditional therapy. Do not go if you’re looking for something deeper.
I was skeptical of getting mental health help but Pam has been a godsend and has gotten me to to open up more then i imagined.
Pennsylvania behavioral health center helped me get my life back. I came into their PHP program lost, and from day one the staff made me feel welcomed and helped me on my journey. Patti, Lynnette, and Moriah are masters… at their craft. My individual therapist Pamela Van der Laan helped me break through past traumas and experiences, truly helping me advance through my mental health struggles with her vast knowledge of coping mechanisms, individual therapy, and ACT and CBT. I cannot thank the staff enough for helping me get me back in my feet.
I can’t speak highly enough of Pamela Van Der Laan. From the very first session, I felt truly heard and supported. She creates a safe, welcoming space where it’s okay to be vulnerable, and her insight and compassion… have helped me grow in ways I didn’t think were possible.
if your looking for professional help especially with mental health or addiction this is the place to go! they have wonderful therapist especially mine Pamela, staff and people! i wouldn’t have gotten so far in my… recovery without them!
Love this MH IOP program, great staff and outstanding outcomes for those in care, this group gets it!
The admissions process for this program is extremely disorganized. I have called this place several times in an attempt to enter a mental health program, and an individual named "Shawn" continues to take my information… down and lose it. Today, he asked for my insurance information a THIRD time. If this is how business is done, I am not sure how this place helps anyone. This place has wasted my time and I will be looking elsewhere for services. Shame on you.
PA Behavioral Health and Recovery Center is a facility that offers care for the mind, body, and soul. The mental health program specializes in depression anxiety and an array of mental health concerns. The center… extends it services to offer PHP, IOP to help improve your health and wellness during recovery so you can start working towards a better life.
I may be biased but I do believe this is the best aftercare, PHP, IOP, in the entire Delaware Valley! Full of compassion and love and care! The best clinical psychologists and therapists and clinicians you'll find… anywhere.
Amazing team! I went through their substance abuse php program and I am finally living a truly sober life. I always thought I could continue drinking as long as I put down the other stuff but they helped me realize it… was part of the problem. I cannot thank them enough! They addressed every behavioral health need I had, from the substance abuse to the mental health! The individualized care, keeping me on top of my medication management, and the group therapy was key!! If you are looking to really change your life I highly suggest getting in touch with them.
Best place I been to help me drastically with my mental health and still doing I love these people like family they are
