The register shows Mirmont Outpatient Center – Exton providing partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

Mirmont Outpatient Center – Exton Address, Location and Contact Information
The site is at 825 Springdale Drive in Exton, Pennsylvania, 19341. Exton sits in Chester County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.
Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

Amazing psychiatrist and great program. I recommend everyone here!
This place has truly saved my life. Dr. Neff is a wonderful doctor. He listens very well, he is knowledgeable, and is quick to respond to any issues you may be having. Faruza is the best group therapist I've ever had.… She is down to earth, knowledgeable, and gives tough love because she cares deeply about her students. Thank you Mirmont.
I highly recommend the PHP program at Mirmont Outpatient Center. The classroom environment is made to be comfortable and quickly becomes a safe space. The patients are motivated to improve, and the overall atmosphere is… very supportive. Most of the therapists are well prepared and genuinely helpful. On nice days patients will often go for walks outside or enjoy some yoga. One area for improvement: there was one therapist who was frequently late and openly acknowledged struggling with time management during sessions. She would have to set alarms on her phone and would joke about it. She was warm and brought a positive, youthful energy once sessions began. However the lack of punctuality felt unprofessional especially in a setting where patients are expected to be timely and prepared. All other therapists come to class on time and have their lesson ready to go this should be the standard. With more consistency in this area, the program would easily be a 5-star experience. I highly recommend it to anyone who is struggling. Just remember you get out what you put in.
The best. Better than all the rest.
I’ve been working with Erika Belskie at this location for about a year, and after working with many therapists over the years, I can confidently say she is exceptional. From the beginning I asked her to challenge me and… provide brutal honesty. She has done exactly that while still creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment. Erika is thoughtful, direct, and insightful, and she asks the kinds of questions that lead to real progress. She helped me navigate several very challenging periods in my life and remained a steady source of guidance when things felt overwhelming. She has a strong understanding of trauma and approaches it in a thoughtful and structured way. Over the past year, the work we’ve done in therapy has helped me gain clarity and develop a much stronger understanding of myself. I also want to recognize my psychiatrist, Dr. Barry Hoffman, whom I’ve been seeing for nearly seven years. He is attentive, compassionate, and committed to thoughtful care. One thing I especially appreciate is that he collaborates with my therapist so my treatment plan is coordinated and tailored to my needs. Finding providers who genuinely collaborate and focus on your long-term progress is rare. I’m grateful for the role both Erika Belskie and Dr. Barry Hoffman have played in my treatment and overall growth.
I had a very positive experience in the adolescent PHP program. All the staff, from the therapists, nurse, psychiatrists, the nice ladies at the front desk- are all incredible! The program was also very informative,… engaging, and I took a lot away from it. I recommend it strongly
staff here are great and worked with me to accomodate my absences due to my disability; the medical staff listened to me and my concerns
I had a consultation with Lois Row and left feeling judged and unheard. What I wanted, they could not offer. I felt pressured into the PHP. I set up this appointment for the IOP but was told it wasn’t something they… offered at this location and instead I’d have to travel to broomall (about an hour drive for me, multiple times a week for 6-8 weeks). I felt Lois was judgmental and created an unsafe environment. She often made faces in disgust or used a very passive tone to my responses. I overall did not feel comfortable or satisfied with the treatment I received. It wasn’t until the end of the hour and a half appointment when she told me the kind of therapy I need (one on one talk therapy) is not something they offer yet proceeded to sign me up for the IOP anyway. I’m so glad I decided to read the reviews as I am not the only one whose had a bad experience. I will not be attending any program this faulty offers.
I would highly not recommend as their php program has been detrimental to my health. Their therapists think it is ok to utilize attack therapy in group which is supposed to be dbt based. Judgements were allowed to be… made, as the male therapist also involved himself in doing, as well as allowing other group members tell someone how they SHOULD be acting/reacting (ie they should be opening up about themselves in group and sharing). The therapist also do not enforce the group rules as a quote directly from their welcome packet is "no clothing...along with no half-shirts...." Unfortunately the staff did not enforce this and allowed a group member to wear the equivalent of a sports bra with a light cardigan over top that I do not believe could be buttoned or tied shut as it often was not.
Horrible place for neurodivergent folks. Tell them your triggers upfront as a survivor of Applied Behavioral Analysis, they ignore you and begin plastering them at the front of group discussion. You make them aware,… they tell you to ignore them. It's like posting concepts from "pray the gay away", but for autism. I went to address this with Maggie, the supervisor, who was nasty, a complete 180 from the support during the admissions process. She told me she wouldn't talk to me until I discharged, so I did. You cannot feel safe in a place that triggers you. Trying to address this with Mainline Health yielded nothing. These people are predators, greedy predators. Stay away, for your health.
They were caring for my newly diagnosed adhd son then abruptly told him, he needed to find a new provider with no warning or explanation. Ridiculous treatment for a mental care facility- no compassion, not professional.… Would not recommend.
The "Director" Jamie Burke LCSW schedules me to get my Once a month shot that I (need) to sustain my sobriety on a day where there is No Doctor to adminster it. Then when I show up going through withdrawal and ask why… she just shrugs her shoulders and basically says "tough luck". Now I have to try not to relapse over Memorial day weekend. She is mean and as ugly on the inside as she is on the out. Even her staff members told me that can't stand to be near her.
the staff was somewhat nice yet they discharged me when I told them I was unable to do the my work. they sent me back to school the next day and I had a horrible breakdown since I wasn’t near ready to go back.
Dr.Shao is an absolute out of touch waste of time. She does not care about you or what you're going through. She wont care that you can't see your provider because you're in the program, she wont care that you need your… meds, she wont care about your opinions, she wont care about you. And no one else will help you in your time of need either. Update: Dr Shao lied on my charts and said I wasn't experiencing what I reported I was. She minimized or flat out left out huge concerns and symptoms that I reported. She also tried to highlight certain things to make me look bad/ untrustworthy. Those notes are being sent to my disability case and can be actively used against me. Dr.Shao told another patient that I know, that they didn't experience any psychosis and loaded them up with meds they didn't need. Now they find out by talking to a Dr outside of Mirmont, that they did experience psychosis and can start taking the proper steps to care. DO NOT TRUST HER. IF YOU GET HER AS YOUR DR REQUEST SOME ONE ELSE.
I’ll be forever grateful for Dr Neff and Liane. Dr Neff truly cares about his patients and their well being. I have no idea where I would be without him. I came to him at a really low point, and he has helped me get to… a great point in my life. If you’re looking for a psychiatrist- look no further. Liane is amazing. She really cares about her patients and helps them to heal. I’m really enjoying working with her. Thank you both for everything you do! You have helped me more than you’ll ever know!
The incompetence of this place is absolutely unheard of. Here’s the long-story made short: I needed a new psychiatrist. I’ve been on my current meds for years. They have been working great. They take me in as a new… patient. I went through one eval (substance abuse). They told me I had to come again for a psych eval now— annoying, but whatever. I get there, sit down, and the doctor tells me they (the practice) don’t prescribe two of my medications. So why did you take me as a patient, when I disclosed my current prescriptions when I first called? Why didn’t the substance abuse evaluator say anything about this? I had to take off work early twice because of their limited time slots and waste my time and money for absolutely nothing.
Been here a total of 4 times, managed to finish the program only once. After my last attempt I refuse to go back. I came to Mirmont summer 2019 after a difficult stay at the hospital, at the recommendation of my… psychiatrist. I encountered a patient who had been my roommate briefly at the hospital. During group therapy, she was reflecting on her past traumas. She sobbed quite a bit while talking. That's fine. The therapist leading the group then offered to shift gears and have someone else talk. I volunteered. I started opening up and I too started sobbing. What irks me is how the therapist was visibly irritated with me and interrupted twice to tell me to "reel it back" even though she sat nodding her head and showing remorse for the patient talking before me without interrupting her. She'd been crying just as hard as I was. It was the final straw. I will never put up with biased staff. I deserve proper treatment just as much as any other patient.
Contacted this company while looking for a new insurance-covered psychiatrist to help manage my mental health/ADHD. I was on a stimulant years ago with success, went off of it for reasons that turned out to be… unrelated, and was hoping to go back on. The person who called to talk to me about my submission didn't once ask about my diagnosis or ask me if I'd tried non-medication interventions (yes) - just told me that they won't prescribe stimulants in most cases because it doesn't help. A pretty outlandish approach considering all of the medical studies with proof and my own personal experience that it did help... Needless to say, don't waste your time if you have ADHD.
No follow through on what was promised in services. No communication to the parent of progress after repeated requests.
My teenage son recently finished a 10 day PHP here. He said everyone was really good to him & he made a lot of progress. They are very informative & get back to you immediately if you have questions. I highly recommend… it here.
I’m currently going here for the partial hospitalization program, and I do genuinely enjoy it, but I think certain therapists tend to ignore certain people in the program, although I’ve only witnessed a group therapy… setting so far, and not individual therapy or any psychiatric help, though they tell me I’ll be getting both this week. Everyone in my group seems to enjoy coming in every day, and I’ve even made a few friends in here :)
Doctor will ignore you then claim "decreased need for sleep" after stating you sleep 8 hours a day.
I went for treatment there during an extremely difficult chapter of my life. I was treated coldly and felt ridiculed. I had issues with communicating because of severe trauma and was made fun of by people attending. I… left the program with a lower sense of self esteem and exhausted .
At first, I was very satisfied with the Partial-Hospitalization Program at Mirmont. Due to COVID, this took place via online video call, and despite not being in person, the program was very interactive and… informational. I enjoyed the psycho-education groups the most. However, when I began experiencing negative side-effects of the medication I was prescribed, Dr. H was rather condescending and adamant that I continue taking it, despite me having a physical allergic skin reaction to it. I went to my PCP and they told me to stop taking this medication immediately. Another medication I was on was causing extreme mental and physical disorientation and anxiety, and yet Dr. H was adamant I continue taking the medication despite my continued response that I did not feel safe taking it. "I am willing to try any other medication, just not this one- I don't feel safe taking it." I was subsequently discharged for being "non-compliant". If you go here, the actual program is excellent and informative, but the psychiatric services, at least from Dr. H, are abysmal. Proceed with caution.
From the front desk to behind the scenes everyone here is a joy to interact with. Very professional and personable staff.
Very friendly and dedicated staff.
