My son’s life was completely turned around by the staff here. There’s hardly ever a wait and Martha does an exceptional job in managing his meds. Thank you for helping me to save him. Forever grateful.
Nice center to go for help if you need it. Very clean and organized
My daughter did her intial intake over the phone. We were told to call and make an appointment. We called for two days trying to make an appointment and left more than several voicemails for Shelley who schedules for… the Weatherford location. Shelley never returned one phone call or answered. We contacted the Granbury office several times and was told if they're not returning your phone call, we need to go to the location physically as a walk-in Mondays-Wednesdays 8 am to 3 pm. According to some reviews there doctors may be great, but their intake needs serious help. We are military and this center was recommended. If I could, I would give Intake a negative star. Thank you.
Martha the dr gave me a life The harder i work with social workers the better life i have I want to achieve my goals and dreams
They do nothing when they actually keep an appointment which is rare. They provide problems not solutions.
I have a love hate relationship with this place. I love that my mental health is back on track, I hate that my provider swept my concerns under the rug and now refuse to switch my provider and keep forcing me to see… her, I also hate that I have gone through multiple providers, I came out of my therapy sessions with them after 3 sessions with my therapist and almost quit going right there after the therapist tried blaming me for my trauma and down playing it. The best part of that place was Sarah and they fired her. Now I'm left with a service provider that doesn't care about my concerns and a case worker who doesn't actually care about what's going on in my life, just to get the paperwork done. The only reason I'm still going is for my meds. I'm finally right in the head and I don't wanna screw that up, but man they're ruining my perspective on therapy MDs and counseling.
Yes, there are turnovers...however I've never had any bad experiences and I have been in this program for over two years. Sometimes you wait, sometimes you don't. I show up anyway, and that is all that matters.
They were great during intake. Gave me some real hope. I've seen my case worker once since then in a meaningless appointment. No checking in on me which was part of my recovery plan. Nothing despite the fact I went in… suicidal.
In my experience this is not a safe or reliable mental health facility. When staff is out of line they try to sweep it under the rug. Please for your own well being I would not recommend taking your loved ones here.
I have struggled to keep a job this past year due to my mental health. I am fortunate that Pecan Valley has provided me with free medication during this difficult time in my life. Without the medication I probably would… have committed suicide. I now have a better quality of life. Thank you.
This place saved my life and improves my quality of life daily. Rekerdres, Rachel, Katie, Courtney, Stephanie, Scott, Sydney, Stacy, Bianca, Nikki, I consider you all my extended family. Thank you for believing in me!
they’ve put up with me for like 2 years now and haven’t given up. Very nice and reasonable people. Glad to have them
Worst place ever! Don’t come here to get help. I waited 45 minutes just for them to tell me I need to reschedule. I would recommend Granbury location.
Terrible place to go. Turn over is awful. Therapist are unprofessional. Roy my Therapist would fall asleep not even interested in what I was saying. Then I get kicked out when I needed them the most. Roy is the worst.
I've talked to MANY counselors/therapist and not one truly cared and would remember what we would talk about. Pecan valley does! I have came a long way from when I first started here. I absolutely love the people here!!
I am disabled, requiring a caretaker. My caretaker went for an appointment there for meds. After several hours of waiting, via teleconference, she was deemed a possible danger to herself. They put her in handcuffs and… transported her to Fort Worth for eval. They claimed they called me and her ex-husband, but we don't have any records of a call from them. If I could give them negative stars, I would.
So far everyone here is incredibly helpful, understanding and kind. I very much appreciate the services they provide for those less fortunate.
Awful addition to pecan valley incompitant. Not to mention a former employee Bridget even though not employed by pecan still gives mental health advice and she was only ever a case worker not qualified
This place is very unorganized. My appt was at 1:00 pm and I didn't get in to see "A Tele Communications Therapist" until 2:45 !!! I thought I was going to talk to a Real Person not a TV screen !!!! Don't go there… people it is a joke !!!!! Their main concern was that I was lying about who I was and income !!
Does anyone know how to actually get a hold of someone here?? I’ve called several numbers, left voice mails, it’s been over a week & I still can’t get in touch with anyone. My sons doctor sent over a referral for him,… over a week ago & no one’s even attempted to contact me.
Do not bother using this place for any mental health care needs. They absolutely just don't care! You will be passed around to multiple Dr's that seem annoyed or bothered by any issues you need help with. Just contact… tarrant County if possible Especially if you have teens that need help with mental illness.
