Ernest E Kennedy Center – Moncks Corner Detox and Rehab Services

Ernest E Kennedy Center – Moncks Corner runs intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Whether medication is available is worth confirming at the outset. Ask what the assessment recommends before comparing anything else.

The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. What suits one person will not suit another, so ask directly. It is reasonable to ask how progress is reviewed and by whom.

Very good work from the counselors and very empathetic and professional but the lady at the front desk is very rude and lacks empathy with the people who come to ask her a question. You should keep in mind that she is… the first face to see a sick person who needs help. Thank you.

The Kennedy center is a really good place to go if you are interested in recovery and actually want to get help and participate. They’re very helpful and considerate in knowing that sometimes things happen, and… sometimes you make mistakes. They help you a lot with coming up with a plan, and keeping you busy while in recovery. The Kennedy center has helped me a lot in realizing that I had a problem and want to get better. And they’re also doing their best at helping me to get better. Also have to give a shoutout to Amanda, Theresa, and Debbie and Julie. They’re super nice and my favorites. Also, Bob Ross on the TV.

Great experience! Obviously I didn’t want to be there at first and was even angry about it, but it turned out to be the best support group and nonjudgmental outlet I could have ever asked for and didn’t even know I… needed! Heather & Wyatt, thank you sincerely for your sincere genuine compassion, understanding, and dedication. I’m forever grateful for you both! God bless and keep doing what you’re doing!

This place is my second home. I love coming here. Right when you walk in the front Ms Julie greets you with a nice positive greeting...To Ms Cricket everyone feels like family here I wouldn't ask for a better place to… complete my treatment...Brittany with peer support awesome...Ms Theresa with IOP. These ladies make it awesome to be loved and caring. They do care. So please give these ladies a try...first step is admitting you have a problem. Ones you know that the class and council is awesome..... You will never wanna leave.... Thank you for all of y'all's help. I'm ready to help others just like y'all do.

Had a very negative view of places like this, until I came here. Treatment program worked better than expected and recovery is now complete after many difficult years. Couldn't have done it without you, thank you… Susanna and Amanda! Couldn't ask for better ppl to have your corner. If you're thinking about coming here, stop thinking and just do it. You can thank me later

The people are nice enough here I guess but unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend going here for anything court ordered as they are grossly incompetent and disorganized. Nobody seems to have a clue what they’re doing. I… don’t see how anyone will ever be able to credit this place for their success in sobriety. They don’t contribute anything to anyone’s life except incompetence and inconvenience. None of your paperwork will go where it needs to go. They will recommend “treatment” for anybody that gets evaluated, regardless of whether or not they need the treatment. The people who sign the paperwork are not even licensed clinicians. I spent weeks missing work to go here for “therapy” and a year later I’m being told I need to do everything over again bc Kennedy center staff signed papers they weren’t qualified to sign. They weren’t able to help me find anywhere to take a dui driving course. It’s like they had never even heard of such a thing. Again nice people. But if you need to go here for anything other than wasting your time and energy, you’re out of luck. The one star I’m leaving is only by default. Even one star is far too high a rating for this place. If you need to practice abstinence by threat of a drug test that’s about all this place is good for.

If i could leave a 0 I would. The counselor I had told me I failed a drug test at a level 15 which is supposed to be the cut off level anyways. I TOLD her over and over that test is inaccurate because I've had negative… drug test there and also other lab drug test conducted at another place that was negative!!She would not accept that that test was inaccurate so she still turned that test result into DSS and caused me to not get my kids back. I literally was CLEAN and still am! My kids are still sitting in a foster care because she wouldn't believe me and listen that the test was wrong!!! I had tests done another place AGAIN and was negative hair and urine!!! I promise I am filing a lawsuit against this establishment. Do not go here if you have a case with DSS and they try and send you here because these people will destroy you getting them back. I advise you to go to a private place that you pay for yourself!!!

I had an assessment done today. My over all experience was great. Everyone who I came in contact with was very helpful. Although I didn’t have an appointment, the process was fairly quick. Macie was great on helping me,… and explaining everything to do with finances. Beth was very helpful on making you feel at ease as well. All those places can be a pain from time to time, but from what I experienced, I was very pleased. Thank you ladies very much.

Who else has been referred here and keep being told they're failing their drug tests but there's no way possible I'm failing! I take drug tests elsewhere and they're negative!!! But I can't get my kids back until I pass… 3 consecutively!! Almost a year now and I have to keep starting over because every 3rd drug test I'm positive. The others are negative up until it's my last test!!!! So over this place!!! I just want my babies back!!! This isn't even the half of the story! Every appointment my counselor cancels my appt right before my appt time! It's insane that this place is even opened and referred by DSS! CORRUPTION AT ITS FINEST!!

wish I could give 0 stars. My loved one was court ordered to attend out patient treatment in November 2022 and never went. Here we are July of 2023 and My family is still dealing with his psychosis on the daily and now… mental health won't touch him because they are supposed to be treating him. I've reached out to the office multiple times and still no help. They can't do something as simple as notifying the courts. These guys are a great help! NOT!

The Kennedy Center is the Bomb. I wish that I would have known about it sooner. I was in an explosion in 2015, that put me on pain meds for a long time. And a lot of them. It was so comfortable and easy. No withdraw… symptoms at all. Thank you Tiffany, Kat ,Lisa and the rest of the Staff.

This place has been heaven sent to me. I had to originally go because of probation, but I am off probation now and still thriving only because of my counselors. They have helped me maintain my bipolar disorder too. I… love everyone that works there. If you need help with sobriety, they can definitely help you.

This place is absolutely terrible. My son was put with a therapist that he was not comfortable with so I told them to please put him with another therapist because it was not comfortable with the one he was public.… Spent two days with a therapist he Bonnick really mediately and then was told he had to go back to the therapist he was not comfortable with. He was talking and not have a choice. My son great loss of his life have used my mom and the therapist that he was not comfortable with was a man. I explain this to them and they still said that he does not have a choice that stay with the same therapist who is a mail but he did not feel comfortable with. My son will not be going back. Any Counselor knows that there is not a bond between the therapist and the patient or if the patient is not feel comfortable with the therapist they cannot help them and they will not be able to help them. Beware

If I could give this place a million stars i would. I have been coming to the Ernest e. kennedy center for almost a year now. This place has completely changed my life, They have givin me the guidance and support that I… so desperately needed. I came voluntarily and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself and my sobriety. My counselor is Mrs. Tina and she has made such a positive impact on my life as well as other people there like Mr. mark and Mrs. Iwona. even the receptionist Mrs. keli and Jasmine have always been so welcoming and helpful. I honestly feel like this place is my home away home. I couldnt explain in words how greatful i am to have found this place. If you need help, feel like giving up, or even if your just tired of living the way you've been living this most certainly is the place for you.

At first the place seemed great. People where nice and so on. Then the night I went for what was supposed to be my last meeting I was told I had failed my drug screen, and I would have to do additional classes, which… was complete BS! I mean how damn stupid would you have to be to do drugs knowing your going to be tested! Not to mention the $675 I would be just throwing down the drain! In my opinion the place is a joke!
