Dorchester County Commission on – Summerville Detox and Rehab Services

What Dorchester County Commission on – Summerville offers is intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. It is reasonable to ask how progress is reviewed and by whom. Ask what happens if the recommended level of care is not available immediately.

The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. Ask whether family can be involved and at what stage. Establishing what happens after the program ends is worth doing early.

The women at this office responsible for answering phones consistently demonstrate a lack of customer service skills, situational awareness, and effective communication. This creates a frustrating experience for… individuals who are genuinely trying to do the right thing and must interact with this department. Issues are frequently handled incorrectly or without sufficient knowledge, and callers often receive different answers to the same questions depending on who they speak with. Overall, the department would benefit greatly from updated and comprehensive training, including customer service best practices, job-specific knowledge, and clear procedural guidance to ensure accuracy, consistency, and professionalism.

The ladies working up front were really nice. I took the ADSAP class and Monique was the counselor teaching it. She was super down to earth and easy to get along with and did a great class. The other 9 people in the… class were also easy to get along with. All in all, I had a great experience.
