About New Horizons – Muscatine

New Horizons operates in Muscatine. The site sits in Muscatine County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. The practical catchment runs wider than the city limits, taking in people who travel in rather than finding care on their doorstep.

Intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Care offered spans more than one level, which means someone can move between them without changing provider.

Treatment Services at New Horizons

Intensive outpatient and outpatient care run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Ask what happens at the end of the program as well as the beginning, since that is where plans usually thin out. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

New Horizons Address, Location and Contact Information

The service is based in Muscatine, IA 52761, in Muscatine County. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity. It is worth checking which entrance to use and where parking sits before a first appointment.

Interpreting services including ASL are available on request. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Opening hours shift with staffing, and an evening slot one month may not exist the next.

How Much Does Treatment at New Horizons Cost?

Before insurance, typical prices in Iowa put intensive outpatient at $2,500 to $8,500 a month and standard outpatient care at $1,200 to $4,500 a month. New Horizons’ own fees were not found at the time of writing, so the figures describe the state as a whole.

Programs usually price the intake assessment, group therapy and individual counseling into the fee. If you need a specialized therapy such as EMDR, ask New Horizons whether it is offered and what it costs. A direct call is the quickest way to get an accurate figure.

My previous visit to new horizons was a bad experience I was rescheduled which I already left a review about but that was the best thing she could have done because I had the pleasure of being greeted at the front desk… by Shelia whom was a very pleasant receptionist,I also had the pleasure of doing my intake with two individuals that really changed my experience and perception of this place thank you James Jordan and Shelia your people skills are phenomenal and you three can make a difference in people’s lives. Those who come there are hurting humans and I don’t doubt you treat them as such . I recommend James and Jordan the are awesome

I came to this place for an intake. I was on a business call in the lobby and I gave them my name and she told me she would hand me the paperwork after I got off the phone I went outended my call when I came back in.… She was very rude saying you can't be on the phone in here and. I asked her, why can't she give me the paperwork? And she said because I can't, you're on the phone and I explained to her. That it was a business call I went. I was on time for my appointment . She said I need your attorney's address and your case number. I didn't have either available and I said to her. I would think that you guys would have this. She observed me on the phone walking out and I mentioned to the person I was talking to that she was rude and she denied my visit with my intake and made me reschedule. This place stunk and her name was Julie and she was very rude and I even apologized to her and she still would not. Let me go forward with my appointment. It was a personality conflict and. Add nothing to do with the reason why I was there

The truth does not matter to these people. Their pay check is a violation of our executive judicial and legislative branches of government. There cannot be a separation between church and state when these people are… required to have faith in an unjust system.

This place is a joke! I don't use at all and haven't for a long while and they recommended me!
